They already are in normal multiplayer. Play Rush, TdM or Exodus Conquest!

I always hear DICE trying to have BF be a team-based game but a majority of people really dont try to coordinate anything with their teammates. I believe if DICE added a team-only proximity voice chat feature it would greatly boost that teamwork gameplay. Planetside has shown that voice chat can work with large player counts well enough.
This issue is implementing methods of non verbal communication. The fact of the matter is no one uses their mics anymore. 99% of the time I prefer to play by myself as well. The ping system should be opened up to a promixity-based comm system as well, seeing pings should not be locked to only squad mates. All teammates within a certain radius or proximity of you should see pings. Lets say like a 20-meter radius. Anyone outside of this will not received the notification. It would make communicating much easier, I cant tell you how many times ive been downed, frantically pinging the location the player that downed me to warn my teammates but then I remember no one outside the squad can see my pings.
@@Kojiros7th I agree and ive done the same, for large map and player count games like BF i do believe proximity-based comms, both voice chat and non-voice chat are beneficial. The only issue i see with it is for maps similar to operation locker, where practically the entire team is within the same area, the comm channels could be overwhelmed.
Also no one spots enemies anymore. At least it seems that way to me. Edit: except for the Caspers
@@doraemon5990 yea sometimes it feels like im the only one spotting anything in game, i dont know if its maybe because a majority of peiple are not aware they changed the spotting system back to the legacy style or because we dont have enough veteran BF players who know how to make use of it?

It really sucks that there was no playtest for North America. You always make amazing BF content and having access to the update early is definitely deserved.
They need to add ammo stations back to capture points or something cause Lis is the only useful engineer in my opinion and only cause her rockets regen. Would like to use the other rocket options but you run out of ammo way to quick and don’t do enough damage. And no nerfs to the Hind? Tired of that sky tank dominating lobbies.
The hind is fine. Yea it's powerful, but it's super rare to get a competent crew. About 3/10 times I fly it I get a decent crew, the rest it's just guys that can't aim and don't feel like dying on the ground.
That new ar was the bullpup in the NGSW competition wasn't it? It looks exactly like the one from all the images of the NGSW weapons before the SIG Spear was adopted.
When it comes to Liz rockets they went the wrong way. They were in a good place before the update, they needed to rework the dumb fire launcher so that it does more damage instead of being as useless as it is. They need to realize that when they say they want battlefield to be team-play based with squads working together, but they haven't released anything to build on the comms systems. Atleast the ability for squads to talk to eachother would be seen as revolutionary at DICE.
I feel they do not know how Lis works. Like she has a guided ROCKET LAUNCHER that is supposed to be EFFECTIVE against ARMOR! Seriously I keep using it but it's not even doing any damage to a tank. Not even does damage to a 4 wheel vehicle that is clearly not meant to be strong against anit armor.
idk how you're using it, but everytime i play lis, i almost always end up with more that 10 vehicle kills, never fails. it was already way too easy to use before 3.2 after learning it, the buff just made it even more unstoppable. i would maybe agree with you a little bit, IF the missile wasn't constantly refilling without the need for ammo boxes it is, and will continue to be an extremely effective anti tank and anti air missile in season 4. only now, you will actually need to position yourself better and know your target to do well. and the vehicles might actually have a chance of surviving and not get absolutely rained on from across the map the moment they spawn. and well, the fact that it can reach jets at full speed while also be agile enough to counter their movements is pretty ridicolous
One thing I hate that I wish they would get rid of is the stupid glowing tag that every player has. I'm talking about those tags that glow red or green on every player. It to me has to be one of the dumbest things in a battlefield game I have seen and I wish they would address it.
2:10 I have noticed a lot this animation for the character loosing balance when falling in a weird angle. When was it added or is it just a visual bug that somehow mimics how the 3rd person model acts when loosing balance.

@@SGVSOUTHSIDE no it’s not a bug it’s intentional and what’s being fixed is the amount of shake on a certain thing (I can’t quite remember)
If they're going to nerf lis like this they need to either speed up the amount of time it takes to get more missiles or make them do more damage

No, it really doesn't need another buff to compensate. And the missile will still be stronger than how it before the 3.2 buff, even though it was already strong enough before that They only really toned down on the buff from the class update, which honestly wasn't needed at all. the TGM was already comically powerful before it got buffed. in season 4, you can still easily clap air and ground vehicles, only difference is it needs a little bit of brain activity to do so. i've played both lis and all kinds of vehicles quite a lot since 3.2, and my opinion on it needing a nerf hasn't changed one bit, it was way, *way* too easy for me to turn a fight around while sitting behind a rock one or two half decent TGM controllers sitting in the back shouldn't be able to single handedly kill tanks from across the map and decimate any kind of aircraft on the enemy team. a weapon that powerful *should* be hard to use. whats the point of having a weapon that can 1-shot choppers and planes that can just do a 180 turn if they miss? high risk, high reward is how that weapon should be

Closest thing to a levolution event you'll get in 2042 (other than orbital rocket) It's an Easter egg, you need to activate all radios that spawn in certain locations on the map
its a new easter egg thats on spearhead. You gotta activate some uplinks to do it

They set their game in 2042 and have 0 urban maps. Think of the possibilities of fighting in a flooded London, a devastated Paris, or the final seasons taking place in war torn Moscow or DC? But no....more empty planes, hills, rocks and big square buildings.

I used Lis as sniper killer aside from killing jets,choppers and tanks. Destroyed 400 vehicles now I just relax and play casual.
They also added character bios in the main menu recently.
Are we supposed to be happy? Thankful? Excited? Battlefield 4 launched with more guns than 2042 has a year in - they should be thinking about that, not cheesy bios

@@chiseledmedal2634 Yes I started playing Battlefield since BF3. And I stand firm. With BF3 and BF4 every single class was filled with tons of gadgets that made it very fun and balance. Classes had more of a purpose in previous games. In 2042 it’s just all half ass with no gadgets. For example: In BF4 Supports and Recons were filled with tons of different gadgets but both had C4s to counter tanks. In 2042 the support class is now barely even playable since it only got 4 gadgets and one of them is just a smoke gun. Two are just boxes and no C4s to counter vehicles. They basically just half ass the class system in 2042 to shut veterans up about it without realizing what made classes so fun; the gadgets.

I don't play Lis that often, but I think a range nerf would've been enough. Lis' missile wasn't all that powerful for as much as people complained about it. Something like a Wildcat took 4 hits and she only carries 2 missiles with like 20 seconds to get one back. That can be out-repaired easily. Vehicles should have to reposition and take cover to repair. People want to sit on a hill and camp all match, then complain when there's counters to that. Infantry players think vehicles are overpowered, vehicle players think missiles are overpowered, people that don't snipe think snipers (and map layouts lol) are overpowered, etc etc.

Great Video. 2042 is currently excellent. I'm hoping DICE keeps supporting 2042 with new and remastered BF4, V, and 1 maps. I'll gladly buy additional seasons.

I will go back once they add faction models. Like idm specialists but I enjoy being a basic grunt like you were in previous Battlefield titles. It makes the conflict feel more faction based if you can play as that faction rather than a specialist.

Can't tell you how much I wish they would have revamped Firestorm or released a new BR. Warzone needs to be taken down.
Lis wasn't the issue. She's not meant to target ground vehicles and the missiles were already easy enough to dodge even in the hind. They should've boosted agm dmg. If a little pussy in a wildcat sitting in the back of the map can take out a jet or nightbird with 2 missiles, I should be able to kill him with 2 missiles. Or at least boost the 30mm. It's currently impossible to solo tanks with the Felon because you can't do enough damage per pass to offset their healing. Also, why doesn't the jet 30 mikes have splash damage? They do on literally every other aircraft, but I can be hovering the F35 with the reticle directly over a group of infantry and only end up getting 1-2 hit markers. 30mm rounds are the size of your forearm, infantry shouldn't be able to survive a direct hit.

Its still a lame change. The only thing her rocket is good against is helis, jets, and light transports. All of which are fast, small and agile. Yet they want us to hit such targets, that can change directions on a dime, with a stiff asf rocket that can barely turn and has no splash damage? Before she was buffed, hitting targets was more luck than skill, just hoped the pilot was too stupid to dodge. Then with the buffed she received it actually involved a bit more skill because you could now react to pilots dodging. Getting a hit still wasnt a guarantee. Now they reverted it back to being luck based, smh

I was the world's biggest hater of this game. I've been a fan of Battlefield since Bad Company 2, and this was the biggest gaming let down of all time for me. All that being said I just recently started playing last weekend. I can honestly say this game is a lot of fun now.

1st think its shit that DICE did not invite anyone from "US" to take part in the test, love watching your videos so gutted not to see it from you, hope they fix the problem when you go prone and can see your body in gun view or looking left/right and the stupid call a ranger out or anything locks me to the next thing, so if it opens in the bottom of the list takes me 5 goes before i get the to the ranger.. All this is on xbox series x. Release Maps. Kaleidoscope. Breakaway. Manifest. Orbital. Discarded. Renewal. Hourglass. New Maps. Exposure. Stranded. Spearhead. Reworked maps are bit pointless, i think the reworked maps was ment to be released maps, but know it was not ready the game when it was released i would have been happy for it to be held back 6 to 12 months to release with mega map list and all the great stuff you normal get in the bf series. Not saying i do not play it because i do, level S196 Last new map: Hope it brings back the close combat in the underground parts, apart from Exposure in places gives you tiny bit of close combat but feels more like a bottle neck lol, yer looks good but reworked Hourglass also has some new builds in the map, looking forward to it, hope more street combat..

They half assed the class system, so the game is still not a proper battlefield game. Also the near future weapons and gadgets aren’t a thing I’m a huge fan of and the enhanced mobility that some specialists have is detrimental to the map design, all the cover and building layouts don’t matter when you can just grappling hook around and gain an advantageous position with no effort. In their next game they really need to be more grounded and they need to stick to tech that is currently used, not what is in the prototype phase.

Playing a game set in the future and complaining about futuristic weapons and gadgets is probably the worst take I've seen about this game lol. That's the entire reason I was excited for this setting, and was disappointed it took until season 3 to really see any of it. If they kept releasing the same setting for over a decade it would get boring fast.

I think they just made a futuristic game to get ahead of CoD, before they remake Black Ops 2 & Advanced Warfare. I bet their next game will be much more grounded. Probably something based on the conflict in the BF3 universe, given where current events are going the next few years.
Maps are such a core issue with this game that even tho they added classes and have made improvements. The game isn't worth more than 30 bucks.

I would love if they could change the grenade toggle. I want to automatically throw the grenade, not hold it in my hand and then throw it
That's an option in the settings already
I change it in my settings depending on which throwable. For explosives like incendiary or frag I have it set to quick throw, but for knife you need to be able to hold it.

Battlefield 2042 is a good game I Don't know why it got so much hate
so now as they managed to nerf the last specialist from engineer class into dog shit, it's not hard to guess that the next fine present from dice will be a big buff for the Aircraft Farmers. How about spotting stuns all infantry on the ground? Or dumb fire damage multiplier every 5 seconds? This would be fun, though. Now, after LIssiles can't even outdps the buggy, things will be fine again. Removed the Game before season 1, came back to see how's thing going and had a lot of fun with LIS, and surprise, they render Lis to dogshit, because their Heli Kids complained about not able to farm 400:1 anymore. Pathetic development. This Game is cursed from start. Twitch actual viewer count : 43. That is all you had to know about bf2042
You can play on infantry heavy modes instead, like Rush. Breakthrough is the only vehicle focused game mode I can tolerate but usually I spend time in Rush.

Nah not coming back, good to see the game is in a good place.. But took to long to make some of the major changes.. And still not a fan of specialist. Hopefully (we say that a lot) they learned lessons and the next game is what we expect with Battlefield.

Restricted to playing w/ 3 friends 8. No “assist count as kill” 9. Can’t FULLY edit load out before game start 10. Cannot join a party/squad with another squad/party 2042 = THE MOST ANTI-TEAM, ANTI-CLAN TITLE IN BF HISTORY! No clan representation and restricted to staying and playing on servers with only 3 friends or 1 squad !
Thank god for the clan restrictions. We don’t need a max level ultra clan of pros slaughtering the other team over and over. Stfu about clan restrictions it helps keep the game enjoyable.

This map is bland and lacks any interesting features whatsoever
I have lost all faith in Dice balancing anything. Your footage is a testament to that. A huge portion of players just spam C5 and noob tubes instead of actually using their guns, and you're best case scenario actually shooting. Also, AT Mines are virtually unnoticeable/invisible when driving around, no idea who thought it was a good idea to make them ever harder to see. Also, AT Mines instantly detonate when thrown, leaving idiots running in and instant 1 shotting tanks with AT Mines, on top of C5 and a hundred other lock-ons/explosives. Nevermind the slew of extremely terrible net code and tick rate issues with the servers; it's balanced when shooting players (mostly), but being shot all of my friends and myself die around corners, and/or receive all of the bullets at once instantly killing us, making the time to kill exactly like Call of Duties. Then there's uncappable spawn camping and everyone playing only 1 or 2 classes. The game has so many odd problems, that we're just not sure if it's ever going to be fixed, nor so we think Dice actually cares about these specific issues.

Lis is the most annoying specialist. All noobs play her. So it's a great idea to make her only effective when played well, and not by the average noob.

@@SolidBlueBlocks I played and mastered her before she got buffed, so I know she is broken now, I pratically dont miss a stealth nor a jet anymore... BUT instead of just reducing range, or the maneuverability, it is also reducing speed... you know how difficult it is to guide the missile while in boost mode? I mastered that cuz the enemy has less tiem to react, but it is difficult to pull off... if the missile be too slow... there will be no point in it anymore One thing is a nerf, other thing is completely inutilize it

@@AK4974U yeah ney nerfed the TGM, but what really plagues vehicle players, mainly the ground ones... is the fact tha Assault got C5... so when a Mackey grapple hooks at a tank... theres not much it can do... most newbies will get out of the tank and give it for free for the other team to use. And the self entitled non-binary girl is madness with that flying suit and C5s... but assault class never gets nerfs in battlefield... that's why in the end 80% of players play them

@@HomeboundBark66I’m agreeing with you. I agree that Lis shouldn’t have been nerf. It’s just that these vehicles only players don’t like it when people actually fight back at them. So they complain the loudest and EA then gives them what they want.
