It can be quite difficult to understand people. But you know what's even harder? Animals. They can't tell you what they want. Their aggression is easy to miss. They can be a source of danger for humans, and humans can be a source of danger for them. Anyway, the wildlife world is complicated. And you know what? Let's take a look at it.

It is a good video but please give accurate information. Especially with the shark. Sharks have VERY good eye sight, they DO NOT need to get very close to see what you are. DO NOT hit a shark in the nose if it is coming at you, if it opens it's mouth to bite you, you just put your arm deep into it's mouth and you will probably lose your arm. Use flippers if you have them on your feet or another large object to put between you and a shark.

I was trekking through some local woods as a kid, we lived in a rural area. I spotted an owl looking at me. We had a staredown for about 3-5 minutes. That owl didn’t blink, move, or even show any signs of it even being alive. But it scared the crap out of me. I got really bad vibes from that thing, and hauled ass out of there. It felt almost like a intuition deep seated in my brain, that owl was hunting. Maybe not humans, but I was definitely messing up his lunch plans, and his stare, I’ll never forget that damn stare.

7:53 I just wanna say, putting those little shoes on your dog is 100% fine cause 1. It doesn't cover anything but their paws. 2. If the dog needs to be walked a lot and you live in a hot sunny area with lots of pavement then those will protect their paw pad flesh from burning. 3. Some owners use it to prevent a dog from licking/chewing on injuries that they get on their paws, so yeah I think the shoes (as long as they are used correctly) are okay.
yeah give them some diapers too lol

30 years online tHiS is my FAVORITE video EVER!!! Can this channel keep making videos like this? Doubt it. But this is awesome!
Most horses won't kick someone behind them unless they have a reason like feeling threatened. All the same you should put your hand on a horse's hind end as you walk around behind them, just to let them know where you are. I know this! I've use to spend years working with horses. You just don't spook a horse, but never threaten it with violence like try and punch it in the head for instance or they will bite you, or hoof you or kick you with their hind legs.
Yeah, I’ve broken a leg from a horse kicking me, but looking back I don’t think I was being too non-threatening towards it
Also watch their ears. If they lay them flat, step away slowly.
Oh yeah. I pet the horse on the head profusely and pet it while walking around it but I'm paranoid so I choose to walk in front of it instead. I like my chest unbroken and I like being alive. Edit: I also talk to it. That's just an old habit. I talk to my mom's cats too. I see an animal and I'll start up a conversation with it. Maybe that's weird.
@@spacebunny9116 it also could be a horse that wasn’t very well socialized. Don’t go behind a horse unless it’s yours and you know it’s moods.
As Bond's author, Ian Fleming said, horse is dangerous on both ends and uncomfortable in the middle. That was well played in sci-fi series Timeless, where protagonist accidently meets Fleming in middle of Nazi territory. British spy didn't trust horses, his character shared this opinion.
Shark: **Attacks** Also the shark: Interesting
Your profile picture is probably the best I’ve ever seen
I love how the end screen isn't even aligned with the videos
Around the 6:44 mark this guy has something on squirrels I can confirm; I trained a wild squirrel to eat from my hand in my back yard----and soon discovered that the squirrel associated ALL people with free handouts. He would go up to random pedestrians in the street asking for handouts and even barned in on my hippie-neighbors front-porch picnic. So yeah, I agree that since squirrels don't seem to get 'person-specific', they can be put in danger with this new taught behavior. Quite the opposite of wild blue-jays I've trained to eat from my hand. The Jays would only recognize me and a few guests as 'safe' to eat from. They never went near any people they didn't know.
Tips for interacting with a horse (I own one) -Approach from the SIDE where they can see you. -Watch your breathing. If you breathe really fast, they’ll pick up on that and think something is wrong, which stresses them out. -Offer your hand so they can sniff you. -Do NOT stand in front of a horse especially if you don’t know it. If it gets spooked, it can’t really see you and might accidentally trample you. -Of course, don’t stand behind it especially if you don’t know it. If you’re doing something that involves being behind the horse, make sure it knows you’re there. -Don’t let it push you around (this is dangerous) -If a horse charges, don’t run. You need to stand your ground. It’ll think that it can boss you around and will probably keep chasing you. A horse bossing you around can get real dangerous real fast. -Watch your movements. Don’t do things like stomping. If your horse is stomping, try to find what is irritating it. -Like he said in the video, you need to remember that horses are prey animals, and are always looking out for the predator. If you approach the horse in the wrong way, it may see you as a predator and become scared or aggressive. -Horses CAN also be very easily spooked. Thank you for your time and I hope this helps. 😊
SSusie Anything don’t move when it’s charging? What else do you do take the hit. I’m not good on horses you seem you to know your facts and been studying horses or had one for a while so I’m taking your advice
I used to own a horse when I was really small loved the guy and i never understood why my parents wouldn't let me play with em Turns out it was because i was laud as shit

@@SolemGod it’s possible with elephants too, stand your ground and they won’t be game to finish charging. Also don’t let your horse demand head scratches while they have a bit in. I’m scarred for life.
We have horses too, they are amazingly empathetic animals. A calm and quiet voice works wonders on a nervous horse.
"And try not to dress up sharks." Ark players: *And I took that personally*
Played ark survival never tamed a shark cuz eh there not in my "hunt list"
small correction on the horse facts. never approach directly in front of a horse either. horses have two blind spots, one right in front and one directly behind, thanks to how their eyes are placed. you want to approach more at an angle in the front so they can see you.
I really love this channel..i learned a lot..and very nice work research..godbless.

Fun fact: equestrian etiquette is actually that if you DO need to walk behind a horse, you keep your hand on it as you walk around from front to back. That way the horse knows you're there, and is less likely to kick you. Source: my aunt owned horses.
The front end can kick, too. Very hard. And bite. Very hard. The side can crush you against a fence, barn, tree.

I actually had a Great Horned Owl grab my head one time. Once it sensed I wasn't a soft target - it let go - and whoosh its wings rapt around my head and it flew off. What a rush!
When I was a kid, we generally didn't dress up our dog. But she did like wearing a raincoat when she needed to go outside while it was raining. And I think my niece put a Chicago Bears jersey on the dog while they watched football together. She would yell at the television, and the dog would howl as well.
I had a big short-haired dog and one winter it was cold out, so I put a raglan-sleeve t-shirt on her. Then I didn't do it for a long time. She found the shirt and brought it to me. I think that she liked wearing it.
You touch the horse on the Butt when going back behind them. They won’t kick, but also pay attention to the animals body language. I think people have forgotten how to feel the animal empathically too.

The horse one isn’t true I work with horse and own horses as seen in my profile picture if u need or want to go behind a horse you go close to the chest and run ur hand from the chest to the butt and then they’ll know that ur their and not wanting to hurt them or tell the handler of the horse to make the horse watch you go behind the horse and they’ll know and see what’s behind them
Agree
You are still approaching the horse from the front and touching them letting them know you are there and they are okay with you like explained in video 2:18. You wouldn't just randomly walk up behind a horse and touch it without letting it know you are there or if the horse is fine with you behind it. NEVER walk behind a horse if it doesn't know you are there or you are strangers to one another if you do walk behind a horse always walk really close. And remember front feet will kill you back feet will seriously harm you.
And if you are walking up behind one you make a noise or whistle
Good horses don't care. That being said most horses aren't 'good' horses.
Yeah, unless you’re a stranger to the horse or your being crazy behind them, clapping, yelling, running

Honestly, if the average person were getting attacked by a shark, they might not have the wherewithal to punch its nose. The reason why shark bites are so painful, even if it won't necessarily kill you, is because of all the salt in the water.

@DA_BOII_HUNTER adrenaline will do that lmao all these ignorant people in the comment purposely twisting the original commenters words is quite childish, in salt water your adrenaline will have no affect in numbing the pain as the salt instantly cuts into the pain censors on another level on top of your limb or chunks of your flesh being ripped out.
