    • Wow. I knew that about each of them but I didn’t think of it as far as these two people right here. Dick Van Dyke played on the Carol Burnett show a lot. I remember once he was playing a man that Eunice was dating after she and Ed separated.

  • This channel always cheers me up. Sometimes with television and music I get a bit depressed with all the junk out there that passes for entertainment. So many great people are gone now. It's like loosing all of my friends. All the values and good times are just memories for me now. It's nice to go back and live them again with these clips. Thanks again for the posts. Love them.

  • A lot of younger people probably don't realize but the Way Carol Burnett was positioning her legs was hilarious at that time. Back in the 70s a lot more women wore dresses and skirts and not keeping your legs close together was considered janky, sloppy

  • So interesting how many of the “oddballs” and “awkward nerds” of past comedy are so clearly riffing on behaviors of the autism spectrum. I don’t believe in “problematicizing” past media at all, I think it gives great cultural history in context, but I’m glad there’s more appreciation for ASD folks these days.

  • I think it would be extremely HILARIOUS if Ann Hathaway (as Mia Thermopolous) did Betsy’s part as a re- creation, especially when she talks about being a Princess!!! I don’t know who the guy would be, but I’m sure there is a guy out there that could play this part very well!!!! Ha. If he were still alive, the guy who played Napoleon Dynamite comes to mind!

  • I let this couple at a bus stop in Iowa. One was talking about missing a deadline for school, the other was going on about an interaction in a workplace. They seemed to think they were in a conversation although they were conversing different topics. Either way, they were meant to be and I hope they ended up together! 😅
