How is first drilling in reverse any better than just drilling in the forward direction from the beginning?
Because going forward makes the teeth on the saw catch and dig in which causes the saw to bounce and skip around while going backwards the saw slides over the surface easily and therefore you easily hold it in place, but the saw will not cut fast, just score the surface enough to hold the saw in place when you switch to forward.
@@irfanfarid okay, perfect reply. I hadn't considered that the saw teeth point in one direction and are designed to only cut when the drill is spinning in the forward direction.
