Video title: So... Why Aren't THESE Suits Back in Marvel's Spider-Man 2?
With the release of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 on PS5 and hopefully PC in 2025, there's been a huge amount of new suits we've gotten for both Peter and Miles, however, Peter has a lot of amazing spider-man suits in Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered that we have not gotten in Marvel's Spider-Man 2, to put this into perspective, Miles who had 20 suits in Spider-Man Miles Morales, got 15 of those suits put into Marvel's Spider-Man 2, now yes Peter had way more suits in Remastered, but still, some of Peter's best suits didn't make it over to Marvel's Spider-Man 2.
In this video I will be talking about and showcasing what suits I want to see return from Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered to Marvel's Spider-Man 2 alongside suit styles done by Mauro Celentano!

Agreed, it is a lot of work, but modders will put these on the official PC version when it comes out so I'm not too fussed

I think the reason why the suits didn’t carry over for Peter is because of Miles. They didn’t want one Spider having more outfits than the other playable character. Still, I would have loved if the suits did carry over from the first game.
They could have made more suits for Miles then.
That is actually pretty true. It was stated in a interview or podcast that insomniac wanted Peter and Miles to have the same number of suits
@@65firered miles has no suits to use, thats why they brought basically every suit from his spinoff game, and they couldn't give too many suits to peter but not give miles as many since they'd limit how many new suits they'd make
Peter has been around for 60 years longer, so obviously he should have more suits lol
@BaconManGaming101 For this game specifically they could better balance the suits they could add. But Peter will always have a lot more options. They are focusing too much on balancing the scale instead of offering more variety.
Suits I wanted: Peter B. Parker, Spider-Punk (Spider-Verse Version), Spider-Man 2099 (Spider-Verse Version), Spider-Man Unlimited, Nightcrawler Spider-Man, and The Uncanny Spider-Man.

Not only do I wish they brought over some suits that are missing from the first and Miles Morales, I wish they brought over at least some more of the gadgets and powers. Feels weird rocking Spider-Punk suit without the guitar ability, plus they could've made more abilities for the suits. And the animated movie and such suits would've been awesome! (Also crediting the makers of the suit designs and the comics they originate from, the older games - even Amazing Spider-Man and the Marvel Lego game gave credits and history of each suit/character.)
It'd be nice if they made the guitar a suit accessory like the capes, backpacks, hats, and coats
@@sauce6746 Maybe with it strapped over the back to hold the guitar, and when you unleash the power it has a quick animation to play it. Maybe also able to use for a short time as a melee weapon, I think Hobie used it like that in the comic like that if I remember. Badass.

You skipped over it, but I miss the Vintage 1962 Suit. Its such an underrated suit that honestly looks so great to the eyes with its vibrant colours and cel shading aesthetic
I made sure to count it. Miles had 15/20 suits carry over with the missing ones making sense why they weren't in the game. Peter had 16/47 carry over where only like three or so not being movie or story suits.

I don't know, man, I feel like they should've just had all of Miles' carry over at least. It's baffling that the animated styles for Miles and Peter both didn't make it over.
Since Last Stand was my main suit iin the first game, I was dissapointed in it's absence in the sequel. I'm aware that they said they wanted the suits to be equal in number between Peter and Miles. But there are two holes there. Firstly: Movie suits don't have suit styles so if you count every suit style as a seperate suit, which most ranking lists are, Miles has more anyway. On that front, when the game has a suit style format, and they are basically recolours of one and other, why are the Rami suit and Rami Symbiote suit seperate suits, costing a suit slot. All in all the game prioritieses having as many movie suits and original insomniac suits over comic suits. Secondly: Suits could be shared between Peter and Miles, they did it with the Kraven inspired suit, and for a start suits like 2099 or UK, where the character is not actually Peter could be shared.

I would like the Dark suit to come back, especially since it's one of the few suits that is part of the cannon to the story with Black Cat giving it to Peter. Also the Spider Armor MK IV suit would complement Miles's Advanced Tech suit very well, as of now, only the Iron Spider armor does alright with it.
My favourite suits and styles u mentioned: Velocity suit- black and blue Big time suit- white and black (looks great as a future foundation reference) Kane Scarlet Spiderman- red and black (reminds me of the assassin spiderman from an alternate universe) Arachnid rider suit- red, black and white
They even nerfed Spider-Man in the suit department to keep him on the same level as miles

I was so excited to use the Last Stand and The End suits on Peter and Miles in Spider-Man 2 before I found out Last Stand wasn’t in the game. 3:58 Also I’d say a style with red on the Stealth suit would be better than orange, because that was the first suit Kane used before getting his red and black Scarlet Spider suit….a suit which should also be in the sequel.

I actually like Insomniacs noir suit from the first game. I know we have that spider-verse noir suit but it just doesn't fit imo. (and before anyone says that the spider-verse one is more "comic accurate" then let me remind you that in the comics Spider-Man noir doesn't wear a fedora☝️🤓)

I get Future Foundation looks very close to the Antivenom suit, but I don’t get how the Big Time suit didn’t make the cut, especially considering it canonically has multiple color variations
The dark blue style in the middle of the video is another invincible reference. To his black and blue suit variant that comes and destroys parts of the world

I was sad that they removed Peters suit from the first game I loved a large majority of it. Im glad they fixed the mcu suits they fit Peter's frame better in the second game
I was really sad that spider armor mk III, scarlet spider II, Noir suit, Black suit, Big time suit, Last Stand, Spider Armor 2, and most importantly, the 2099 white suit didnt make it, they were some of my favorites.

For the Secret Wars one, a recolor where the red webbing is changed to blue would be awesome
The suit I wanted to return the most in marvel spider man 2 is pretty much the wrestler and mark 4 suits from the first I do hoped they return in some way through dlc or a update somehow?

The ones I was really hoping to wear were the Kaine suit and the Future Foundation suit. I'm glad we got the Superior Spiderman suit at least.
the black and blue variation of future fundation is obviusly a reference to the fantastic four classic color scheme

I have an idea that most of the suits were meant to be worn together. As in Peter and Miles would match. Like Peter and Miles both have 2099, Spiderverse, First suit, Iron Spider, Kraven, Scarlet 3 and Crimsion, and the fact Miles has 3 symbiote suits to match Peter. Probably the reason for Miles final suit, they probably wanted Miles to get a new suit for it to seem climatic
I still can't wrap my head around Velocity Suit being absent. Genuinely a suit that would've shined with the style system. But if I had to guess, it's cus of the death of suit powers

I can't believe the spider armour mk 4 didn't make it I loved using it along with its suit power which was a shield. It saved me quite a bit in the dlc

Really bugged me more suits I love and used a lot in the 1st game did not return. The stealth Big Time suit, Kaine’s Scarlet Spider, the non Into the Spider-Verse Noir, and Last Stand suit were my most frequent in gameplay and screenshots. Really disappointed I couldn’t get the Into the spider-verse outfit for Peter to go with Miles or the Bag head Fantastic 4 suit to go with the Baxter Building in 2.

I can’t be bothered to re-download it but I’m pretty sure it’s called the end suit for Peter. It’s the one where he’s wearing boots and black jeans and a leather jacket that one was my favorite suit and Miles is the end suit in Spider-Man two they would match perfectly, I really wish I was in the game
For the mark 4 armor I think a black and white variant would be cool. Especially when using the spider legs and anti venom powers with it

I'm surprised the negative suit of all of them never made the cut. Since you know, Li is back. They should add the wrestler Spiderman costume from the first Tobey Maguire movie. Sure, they gotta animate the eyes, which alone is hard, but I'm sure it'll look quite cool in this game when done right

U know wat I'd really like for Spider-Man 2 or the next game, customizable costumes. By that i mean it would be cool if we had to option to either mix and match or combine certain suits with each other. Like for example miles OG suit and his upgraded suit. I really like the darker colors and the textures of his upgraded suit but wat i hate about it is the red sleeves going down and getting rid of the red finger tips making them black with red accents on top. I wish i could take the colors and the design of that suit and just transfer it over to the OG miles suit but without the sleeves cuz i always like the way it's cut off around the shoulders. It would be cool to take suits that u like but still might wanna add ur own spin to them to make it your own

Insomniac commented on why they arent in the game. Its because some of the textures werent working on Ps5. They may have been, or are currently working on them, but with other projects such as Wolverine and SM3 they dont have the manpower after the layoffs

Man i was missing Last stand suit, Spidey armor MK4, White 2099 and Big time suit. And i remembered when developers says that they can add all suit because they not perfect combined with wings. And that's lie, because they added homade suit from Homecoming. I think they make a balance with Peter and Miles suits, because in Marvel's Spider Man 2 both spider have same quantity of suits and i think because Peter has many suits from comics and adaptation than Miles

There were a few suits I hoped would he in Spider-Man 2, but unfortunately are not. The Last Stand Suit was my favourite. But I guess that because Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a smaller game than the original, meaning there were less suits.. they were able to carry over most of the suits. Whereas Peter had many more in the original, making it more difficult to bring them all, or most across to try to keep a similar number of suits between both characters in Spider-Man 2

Anyone like the resilient suit? I found toward the release of sm2 I really started to like it. It's armored like ANAD suit and it has narrow lenses that you just don't see too often.
They cut suits that you would think would be a no-brainer to bring over like the spider-armor's, velocity, wrestler, big time, and bag man.

The Peter B Parker suit non being in Marvels Spider-Man 2 made me really sad
Spider UK: easily my favorite suit in the first game. Using the colors from the Irish flag but keeping the Union Jack logo on the front probably would not go over too well. Even the Welsh and Scottish colors combined with the Union Jack could cause some trolls to complain which is my guess why they left it out. The design was not the main reason for my decision but the way it came across as a bit comic looking without looking like it didn’t fit into the game. The FF suit (thankfully the camera is following Spidey so the lenses were not shown much) was one of the pre-DLC suits I used before UK.
If those suits didn't come back, need to wait for pc version for modders to import it.
The Peter b Parker could be a thing after a spider verse dlc, it would make sense if they didn’t want you playing as him while he is there in the story. If he shows up in the dlc as a npc, then playing as him then wouldn’t make sense
To be honest when I see the leak of suits last year I was disappointed because Peter had more suit and miles has less, I don't understand why didn't anyother suit return or most requested suits didn't get the chance to be in the game.
I feel like that instead of a Republic of Ireland flag style, since that flag belongs to a seperate country that isn't part of the United Kingdom, it should have a white and red style to simultaneously repersent Saint George's Cross for England as well as the Ulster Banner and/or Saint Patrick's Saltire for Northern Ireland.
