  • @sauce556 those are the casuals my friend. any true NBA fan or person thats watched toronto/nets games in the VC days know VC isn't all about dunking. His drives, his circus shots, his 3 point range, his clutch. just unlucky that he hasn't won because of his teammates.

  • ps...i know steve nash doesn't have a ring (unfortunatly). I was simply using him as an example of people in their career now who are older but still Amazing,Grant Hila as well. Carter however, is older and seeming to slow/bring teams down. Don't get me wrong he can play when he wants too...but that's exactly the point. When He Wants Too. no hate to the carter fans, he's done some incredible things, just when your talking the "best" and Carter, it should only be accompanied with "Dunking".

  • @JCam4mvp I feel he had great work ethic on the court because his playoff statistics improved ACROSS the board after his trade...Contrary to popular (casual fan) belief...Vinces best years were in New Jersey...on the stat sheet...and arguably on the highlight reel..Me personally, in 2006 - when his Nike SLAM commercial came out (..." My old coach said 2 points is 2 points...my old coach couldnt dunk") Vince Carter put on the greatest single season show of his career...

  • this video just backs up what i believe, he never lost his ups, he just doesn't use his jumping ability as his advantage as much anymore, he's a shooter and it takes less effort to put shots up than dunking, there's 48 minutes in a game, imagine if he tried dunking every single game, that would defintely wear him out, hes in his 30s it would take out alot in him, when he's having fun, you would see him throw down monster jams like the ones in this game, he needs to be in the 2010 allstar game!!

  • @dockfog when ur talking about "the best" in relation to vince carter in his entire NBA career-dunking is a given because hes that damn good--hes posterized every great center in the league aside from shaq...but he doesnt have a career 23ppg avg on dunks--nor did all of his 20,000+ career points come off dunks--they came off a lot of hangtime layups--a couple 360 layups for no reason--because hes that damn good--a whole lotta half court and near half court jump shots because hes that damn good--

  • carter has never really been there, he literally had/has the talant to be one of the best ever. Unfortunatly he just coasts on that talant. He never had any give a fuck, he just played with the talant and athletic ablilities that he was given. If Carter would have actually worked at his game (every aspect of it) and worked hard he'd be in dicussion for one of the best and i think he might even have got a ring somewhere in his career because of him, if he worked hard.(Kobe, Ray Allen, Steve Nash)

  • @dockfog (continued) along with an approximate 12 minute video of clutch gamewinners--as well as free throws and clutch free throws--despite what two free throws in 1 playoff game in his 11th nba season may lead the majority of fans to believe lol dunking is a captain obvious label people have placed on carter because hes that epic at it--then again--people still mock vince by calling him injury prone when infact hes played in 70+ games/year since 04--I call those fans uninformed.

  • @sauce556 well said. Trust me i know how exactly how it feels. What makes me mad is the fact that people think he didn't have a strong work ethic, or he quit, etc etc. The reason i find this stupid is because of how clutch the guy actually is. VC cares about winning as much as kobe,but as said, he was just unlucky. I rate TMac,VC,AI to be the best and up there with Kobe. I always say, teams win together. It's sad that these players didn't win.Imagine if those 3 teams up back then!

  • @sauce556 LMFAO ik but most people would give him the Best Dunker ever Label thats why only he could get and average8 dunks per game lmao but he also could do everything else he was an allrounded player his scoring also came from shooting besides dunking he just lacked the effort to play defense and the worth ethic in the offseason other than that and exciting player sometimes it seemed He felt as if the game bored him either way Great all round player in Prime Best Dunker Ever

    @JCam4mvp@JCam4mvp12 жыл бұрын
  • @ribnarak I cant explain how irritating it is for the casuals to disown the lack of teammate argument for Vince by naming 2 players in 10 years...RJ and J-Kidd...unfortunately none of those fans saw RJ get shut down completely in every playoffs matchup...and suck at finishing even the easiest of plays lol nor are they aware that the Nets coach was issued league notices for not playing their bench at all..Vince Carter has never had a good team throughout his prime (2000-2007)...Unfortunate

  • @JCam4mvp lol then i guess he has--but i was trying to point out everything aside from dunking LOL nonetheless--atleast he has 1 -"the greatest dunker" label which he deserves--out of all the ridiculous labels, 1 being-"dunker only" lol--smh at basketball fans--to them i say- read a stat sheet-or should i say-read a mawfukin book.
