Music: Best of Playoffs Phantom Raptors vs Heat Game 7
One of the best of his seasons! 59-23! First and second round of playoffs was perfect 👌🏻 8-0 He was so close to ring😢
00:13 was very nice, looks like some stuff from his Raptors era, like that one over Bradley in his early years. 1:29 was very good too. And @MaxaMillion711 thanks again for all the hardwork, what you´re doing with all these videos is some serious VC tribute!
greatest dunker of all time
In 2009-10 they’re already going “vintage!” Meanwhile it’s 2019-20 and he’s still going 😂
They were saying “Vintage” In 2004 haha. VC will always be compared to his college/first 3 years of dunking.
You can see that as he grew older, he was getting more and more cautious with the landing. In the early Raptors years he'd do cocky jumps right after the landing, but in his later Nets years and afterwards, he'd take a few steps to absorb the impact more gently, such as 00:58. It's one of these small things that enabled him to play at the age of 42 despite having quite some injuries in his early years.
That's mainly because he doesn't stay as long in the air so he can't prepare his body for the impact before landing.
As the hops is fading, the swag too.
3 minutes of pure beauty and aesthetics, thank you man
Transitional periods are hard 🤷♂️, he's still an artist at work had to get old sometime and was in a bad situation (immature franchise with diva players), to Vince's credit he adjusted to his drop in athleticism within a year (shed weight) and was able to keep going for way longer than anyone expected
720p60 resolution?! This is a beautiful edit, Max. Thank you.
Maxamillion you continue to deliver. God bless you
Even shorter 😭😭😭. Thank you
Another excellent video. Obviously by then he didn't have the hangtime he did in the early Toronto days, but the dunks are still as seamless and perfect technically. The way the ball goes through the net so smoothly and cleanly, every single dunk here is a polished play.
Amazing dunks! I don't think I have seen some of these in a long while, if ever! Awesome style on that 360! Not only did he do it reverse, but he overrated on it, the only time I think I have seen him do that dunk from that side of the baseline in a game!
what a legend
That last dunk his best
I wish they played through him more once play offs came, he was barely aggressive , just doing what the coach wanted! So pissed , that was his best team he ever was on and was his once chance to get to the finals ! Imagine him vs Kobe . Would had been dope .
Vince HALF MAN HALF AMAZING 😉
You can see his Orlando days is where he started to lose some hops.
People said that about his Jersey days too
@@MaxaMillion711 true. He really started getting back some lift when he got rid of wearing a jersey.
Vince wasn't reving it up with orlando cranking it up which one was it
As going through the years, the length of dunk compilation is generally getting shorter, shorter and shorter. Still no dunk this season. Will 19~20 season end up without a single dunk?
Yes, the videos are getting shorter. That’s how aging works 😆 I’m betting we’ll at least get a couple dunks this season.
Victory
That was the first year carter looked out of shape and demotivated. Add also the Orlando magic s system that limited his game
Really lost a lot of burst during this time. Not the same level of explosion consistently, yet still a better athlete than 85%-90% of the league. One of the great athletic marvels of all time.
Yeah he had foot/ankle problems during this time. When he went to Dallas, the Doctors there provided new treatment. That’s why if you compare his Dallas dunks in 2012-13 to 2010 they are way bouncier.
first windmill-less year :/
Thanks for uploading this. Correct me if I'm wrong but this might be the Final season that we saw VC finish alley oops. The next season in Phoenix and onwards he would no longer have any alley oops.
He definitely didn’t have many. He had an alley oop in Dallas from Calderon. And one in Memphis from Chalmers. There might be more but those are the only ones I can remember.
He had a couple in Phoenix; a reverse alleyoop from Nash in half court, and one from brooks
@@MaxaMillion711 thanks! I'd be looking forward to seeing those in your highlights. More Power!
