      @iambaconeer@iambaconeer Жыл бұрын
    • Its not even a good comparison, sometimes the cpu doesn't see blindlingly obvious moves because it either needs for depth or simply doesn't consider specific moves until the boardstate changed. I legit played all book moves in a game, which happened to be top cpu moves, until move 24. Moves 25-28 I made on my own and were also top cpu moves because it's not that hard to make good moves at non-critical moments... then they played Qg2, getting behind all my pawns, and setting up and unstoppable attack... given the attack was a draw, I didn't see the point. But after moving my pieces, the extra tempo and having my king on a different square led to a completely losing position. I reviewed this game with stockfish 13 depth 35, cause I suspected cheating cause of all my prep. On eval, I played top 4 best moves the entire game and was +11, but when the opponent played Qg2 the eval moved to -1.7 on the spot, and -4.8 or worse after my next move regardless of which I pick. Stockfish 13 at depth 35 missed that I had been completely losing by force for 6-7 moves and thought all of my prep was best moves... so using stockfish to chest is more like finding a copy of the answer sheet on the internet but the teacher altered the test and some of the questions aren't the same

  • I think we as chess players can study the reason behind these insane computer moves to understand why they are prone to these kind of attack and why they prioritize such attacks instead of defending or taking some important pieces. (For example at some point the cheater didn't take the center pawn but instead applied pressure to the opponent's queen) By doing so, I believe we can greatly accelerate our improvement in chess at an enormous rate.

  • 7:38 I was seriously considering Qxc6+ just like anyone else here, but I calculated Qxc6+, Bd7 forces my queen to move to safety so I was thinking the more patient Nxe5 might be better because it wins the e5 pawn whilst double attacking the c6 pawn so I can take on c6 on the next move! To tell you the truth both of those moves look good. So I was thinking of the line: Nxe5 Bd7, Nxc6 Qc8, c5 Qb7, Bb5!

  • Somebody did once accuse me of cheating, and honestly it did look like it when I analyzed it after. In a 30 move game, I had managed an accuracy of 93.2 94 after I fixed the few mistakes I did make. This was a 600 rated game, though. And it was the first time I'd ever gotten above 90. Btw, since I subbed to GothamChess, I have climbed from 400 elo to 800 elo. Anyway, yeah, after not cheating but someone thinking I did, I felt really good. And then I threw my next game by hanging mate in one move.

    • Just today I got to 900 perfectly (my personal highest, i was so proud), but the game inmediately after that I blundered mate in 1 in a completely winning game. I was +3 and had queen and bishop attacking the enemy king with him barely defending. Felt a bit bad but laughed afterwards cause he got me real good. Chess is fun.

Also I don’t know if people cheat or not but anyone else play games where the destroy the opponent then all of a sudden they make only best moves and are winning in like 7 moves.
