  • Let's talk realistically about Thor's return now. He is obviously going to struggle to podium this year. there are so many great new competitors now. Hooper is now a dominant force. Ask alexi, martins and the rest about staying at the top of the pack. very difficult these days

    • Rubbish. He missed out on podium by 0.5 points. If his pressing is back close to its best he's gonna be right there with Mitch The Shaw Classic has a max deadlift & a max squat & a max height throw. Those are 3 events he is locked for a win.

    • Arnolds hade 2 carrying event, the logframe and the Stones carry, that are Coppers best events, he is fast and very good at it fore sure, but it is to much running in just one competion, and when Deadlift is the first event it makes it hard for the bigger athlets. If this been in 2015 and Big Z and a young Shaw and Halfthor was going against each other, no mr. Hopper would be close to those guys in the WSM. I hope that Halfthor can comeback, and get into the shape to carry up his weight, now it seems his not have the same stamina yet, he have put on a very much size quick, and it takes time to adjust to that. I hope he will get into it again, he took away 30-35kg for the part as ”the Moutain” and recoverd in his past, but he is older now, and he would offcourse done better in the overheadpress if he didn’t tore his pec 9 months ago😢 But the deadlift was amazing and Mateuz stones lifting. I feelt like the other big names Stoltman (okey at third) but Martins Licis and Novikov was not near their best performances😮

      @Nickepickeparonpung@NickepickeparonpungАй бұрын
    • @@crazy10bears Because the last two events had bad scoring systems. In the past you would score points for the clean and the press on the axel and the first trial by stone too, that was bad this year, you also could jump stones, had Thor been allowed to go for the other two stones he´d be on the podium... or even get points for laping the first one like in the past
