  • The youth players at Liverpool are kept grounded by the coaches and management. There is a wage cap in place, they must continue studies if they are of age and they aren't allowed to buy a car above a certain engine size and price I believe. That all goes to trying to get them to focus on playing and their team-mates. The club is trying to guide them away from all the money and hype in the beginning so the young lads can really show how much they want it. That's just amazing to have in place.....it will remain in place even when Kloppo leaves.

  • I’m from Wrexham(North Wales) & was lucky enough to see Fozzy come out of retirement to come & play for us(Wrexham A.F.C.) to help us win the league & get us out of the non - league Vanarama conference league after spending 15 long depressing stressful years in non-league football. & Ben helped us massively to win the league & get promoted! Notts County were battling us for the league & we had to play them at home with like 3-4 games of the season left. BUT this was a MUST Win game to stay top of the league, we were winning 3-2 but with 1-2minutes left of time left one of our defenders(I forgot who exactly now) conceded a penalty by hand balling it from a corner. I was devastated/furious with our defender for conceding a penalty right at the death! I was screaming obscenities at the tele LOL, I was almost certain we were no longer going to win this massively important game & that Notts County would score there penalty & the game would end in a draw, Us dropping vital points & possibly derail our title challenge! Anyway there chosen penalty taker stepped up, placed the ball on the spot- my heart was in my mouth & beating 3 x faster LOL, He ran up to take the penalty having already picked which side of the goal he was going to place the ball……..& Boom the Notts County striker hits it & WOW Would u believe it BUT Super Ben Foster guessed the right way & pulled off the save of the year diving to his right parrying the ball out & for one of our defenders to clear it away, then the relief of the final whistle rang out! We had done it! we’d beaten 2nd placed Notts County 3-2 which put us in great stride & kept us on course to win the league still, which amazingly we did with a 3-1 home win against Boreham Wood a couple of weeks later! It was the best feeling ever winning that league & finally being promoted out of that dreaded Conference non league after 15 agonising years! BUT Super Ben Foster played a huuuuuge part in our last 8 games to help us get over the line. My only regret is seeing Ben retire again after just a couple of games at the beginning of this season, BUT I respect his decision only he knows when his times up & it’s up to him to decide when it’s time to hang his gloves up which he said he realised it was time at the beginning of this season, & like I said I respect his decision & all I can do is thank him for his time & amazing saves, & his role in helping my beloved Wrexham win the league & return to the football league I will forever be grateful to Ben for that! “& I like it, I like it, I like it, I like it, I la la la like it, la la la like it, Here we gooo……Super Ben Foster in Goooooal!!!🎶🎵❤️ #thereddragons.

Arteta and co have built the squad if everyone is fit at the back we can afford to miss saliba. Ben white, Tomi, and timber are all classily centre backs. But with major players out, several until the end of March, I wouldn't be at all surprised if the league cup is the only trophy we win this season. If we have a heavy depleted squad come the City game, they could really hit us big time. I hope I'm wrong.

  • Phil Jagielka , excellent. Future mainstream pundit. He won't be allowed back on this show, coz he broke protocol and won the quiz!!

  • imo Kelleher hasn't got enough praise he had a mega game if it wasn't for him we would well and truly be behind. But overall i love close football to the point where it could go either way non of this complete domination yes sure we all want to support our teams and want them to win but being on the edge of our seats not knowing which way its going to go is great.

  • OMG!!! I never thought I’d see the day when Ben foster put on a Liverpool shirt, we’ve had so many great match weeks and he’s always put on another teams jersey (thought it was cos he’s a Man U fan which is fairs). So happy to see you in that shirt Ben (looks good on you).

  • Back at Marks argument that arsenal or City would have ripped us apart. We brought on three of those lads vs Arsenal in the FA cup and won the game 2-0. They came on at 0-0.

  • Is it better for Burnley to play Kompany’s way, go down and have a cohesive system that will bring them back up, young players getting better and learning. Or hire a Dyche type who gets them to maybe win a few games 1-0 and stay up and then be a forever relegation favourite every year?? Not sure what id prefer as a Burnley fan but I would say the team will be better long term keeping it the same. I think their owners have decided this already

  • You have to be competing in the Champions League to win The Quad, so no it's impossible for Liverpool to win The Quad, they could possibly win A Quad but not The Quad, although i doubt they will
