  • Blanchfield is a finisher and a star on the rise. Pena is a former champion. Grasso is a current champion. Maycee is none of these. She's easy on the eyes though.

  • Let's be honest, Maycee Barber will probably win Saturday. No disrespect to Katlyn but she's older now, past her prime and no longer a title contender. She hasn't been for a few years now. That being said Maycee will have had an easier road to the top 5 than Erin Blanchfield. She calls Erin boring, but she hasn't faced the legit fighters Erin has at least recently. Except for Amanda Ribas, who has Maycee beat? I feel Amanda is better suited for the strawweight division, but still an impressive win for Maycee.

  • Maycee's an interesting case because she was super overhyped, but since switching to Urijah Faber's gym, I actually think she's improved and is almost underrated. I'm curious to see how this fight goes, because if she gets a crazy finish, I could see them trying to fast track her to a title.
