Everton were left ruing what could have been once more as two first-half penalties proved the difference from getting a reward their performance largely warranted at Old Trafford.
The Blues were the better side for much of the contest, only to be punished by two counter-attacks from Manchester United that led to spot-kicks being converted by Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford.

Sean Dyche was right in his comment that Everton players need much more desire and "the will to get hurt" in and around the box to convert our chances to goals! Today Man Utd "were there for the taking", even when leading 2-0. We passed the ball around quite comfortably, but there was no real purpose and urgency in our play. You need composure and cool heads, but you also need the intensity and desire, especially to to get that final pass and the finishing right! Furthermore, Tarkowski and Godfrey should have been more careful and not given away those penalties. It's always more difficult to score from open play than penalty spot. And we should also start again to be much more effective in corners, at both ends. Hopefully Danjuma is fully fit after the break. We need him alongside Gomes to make our squad and especially our bench better and more competitive. Take now the break to regroup, especially mentally, and then after it start to play with real belief, vigour and enthusiasm!!!!

Beto trips over the ball, Onana sky’s the ball right in front of the goal, DCL can’t control the ball in the box and when Dobbin passes the ball to him he’s looking in the opposite direction. Pathetic just pathetic !

Everton strikers need to watch videos of the 18 year old Wayne Rooney. They will see that Wayne shoots straight away and rarely takes second touches to move the ball.

Godfrey and Captain Chaos showing that they can't always kick a ball straight to a man (on the same team) and or read a opposition player movement then do the obvious kick-out-penalty-gift at the theatre of nightmares... so, no goals and now no preventing them going in either. Dyche too persistent with his current misfiring strikeforce. The attack is very rigid n predictable. Should think out of box and fill in youngsters whom might be more adventurous, smarter that probably ends scoring goals.
We're a fucking joke, and we deserve to go down. Not even that long ago, we were fighting for midtable and now the side is a shell of itself, we're missing easy chances and giving away silly points - we literally do not play like a premier league side. It's not Dyche, literally no manager in the world could save us from what seems more and more inevitable at this point. I'll see you in the Championship, Everton.

There is no leader in the center of the park. We need leaders and we need to stop back passing and players taking shots from all angles on target inside and outside the box, get on keeper spills, get in front of opposing players to get last touch or tripped. DCL , Beto did not anticipate or showed slow reaction and desire to get the first touches in the box

plus i remember Sean Dyche interview on relegation with burnley. he said ( i didnt get Burnley relegatated i wasnt there ) but you will get everton relegated

Both penalties were a result of lazy, stupid tackles. A ten year old knows that you never dive in and Tawakoski could have just stood the kid up and the game was lost. All our strikers have lost their confidence and it is pointless criticising because as soon as the first goal goes in, more will follow

What would a different manager do? We make more big chances than the opposition every week and the players miss them, how’s a new manager going to change that? Keep calm and trust the points will catch up with the stats 👍🏻🤞🏻

@@agentancelotti2985 performances under Frank were atrocious we barely made a chance and couldn’t defend at all. Under dyche we’re one of the best defensive teams in the league and make more chances than all but the top 8 or so sides. Sometimes in football you just go on a very unlucky run with taking chances and it’s hard to accept, sacking dyche isn’t the answer, goals will come
