As a neutral this is fascinating to observe unfold as the simultaneous performance drop-off (senior players on down) has been drastically obvious for all to see. There are probably many reasons that have contributed with one of them being Klopp's mental exhaustion. And initially I can only imagine his relief when his resignation became public and the huge sense of gratitude to have the team respond so positively with such fantastic performances... And then without warning the bubble spectacularly burst open. Its too big to ignore, big personalities like Klopp and Salah have egos and they both probably feel that the other is the reason for the drop off. I can only imagine what has exploded in the dressing room exposing this mess too. That all being said, all involved are at heart good people and none of this is with intent. Perhaps this will help force all to face the issue(s) at hand so it can be resolved.
The disappointment on Nicol's face, seeing his precious Liverpool fall of the rails and him having to eat that humble pie, is so gratifying. Nevertheless this feud is pointless, Klopp's out the door and Salah's finished. They should have taken the money the Saudi's were offering and run. This club's done.
Midseason announcement of Klopp apparently is a blunder. Turned us into a circus show and introduced uncertainty into everyone in the team; The captain (Klopp) of the ship should steady the boat all the time and specially in rough waters, not rock the situation more. That being said, Klopp has been our edge in the last 9 years, the most important piece of the puzzle that allowed us to compete with some chance for silverware. -Our players as a team is not the best athletically collectively (vs true top teams City, Real et al), but having Klopp as our, Pinch hitter, the guy to extract that little bit 2-3% more is what gave us silverware in the last 9 years. Again Thank you Jurgen.
If he hadn't announced it the press would have.

@@sherifnabil50 well that has been debunked. They both get irritated and that's okay. It's a high pressure environment.
But that's simply not true. Salah is known for being sensitive guy and he's had spats with other players too. Why would Klopp say anything bad to him when he's subbing him on? Do you even think before you speak?
I can remember a match when Guardiola shouted at Phil foden and got the lad upset, he had to keep his cool and waited for the gaffer after the match and vent his anger. For whatever reason, you shouldn't react that way to your coach. Except if there's more to this, it's unacceptable
Same Pep was told by Kevin to shut up in a match against Madrid and Kevin stopped running because Pep shouted at him. Players are human being too, and they have emotions. You didn't know what Klopp said to him that made him reacted that way. Pep handled it well in the press, but Klopp admitted there was rift and this is why media will drag both men throughout this week.
Did you see mo salah to be furious in 7years. At times, he is just unhappy. But what happened today was not acceptable from Klopp than Salah. Klopp should never do this, he can keep out of match a player but he send him at the end and tell something inappropriate before sending player on to the pitch. Never seen a coach do this
Players are younger than coaches. Their mistakes happen with heat, but coach can never loose his temper especially when your team is not in comfortable position on the pitch and to one of your star player. That's how crazy it was to blame Klopp but everyone speaks against Salah as he is not European and no media support him.
I'm not castigating Salah! The manner of his reaction is what I was against. For Mo to be that angry it simply means Jurgen said something awful. They were just supposed to handle the situation as adults and trash it out behind the scene.
Salah's discipline has always been exemplary. Klopp on the other hand, has shown his petulance several times when speaking to the press
Klopp wanted to bring in Gomez before the goal was scored because Trent never made a challenge to stop Antonio. Salah took too long to get ready.
Salah had a great career under Jurgen. He clearly took long to dress up when his team was chasing a win! If JURGEN had expressed displeasure at d delay. Salah had no reason at all to talk back at d Gaffer. And d talk about 'fire' by Mo is very disappointing. D accomplished Egyptian is a quiet man with a king-size ego. I think he's made up his mind.

No Stevie, that’s not correct - Klopp tried to shake his hand, Salah initially swerved.
If you're not playing well sometimes the worst thing you can do is say something especially before you're about to play.
Let me explain what happened...This season has seen a subtle shift in Jurgen Klopp’s football strategy, a change that has not sat well with Mohamed Salah. The team’s dynamics have altered, no longer playing to Salah’s strengths as they once did. This shift is the catalyst for Salah’s dip in form, a stark contrast to his usual stellar performances. The situation has brewed a storm of resentment and tension between Salah and Klopp, transforming their once harmonious relationship into a ticking time bomb. The fact that both are set to depart from Liverpool at the end of this season has only exacerbated the situation leading to the spat between them.
I do agree with you, and the alternative strategy did not work well scoring goals, plus the defense and midline failed to work together defending.
Liverpool haven't been underperforming. Their strikers, except for Jota, can't score. When Salah did go on, he missplaced a pass that would have put Nunez in. And the question of not having to impress Klopp sounds juvenile. You are playing for the title, you don't know what will happen next season there was still a decent chance of winning the title.
Every game 25 plus shots 70 plus possession…so team still dominating but give silly goals away and profligacy at the top
Er their defenders are hardly covering themselves with glory…
If my manager made a conscious effort to hug every player apart from me, the day we lost the league, that would p*ss me off

Why does it have to be a personal thing? I've watched LIV's last 6 PL games and Salah seems to be playing rugby, by shooting over the bar. I get his was injured and didn't look right on his return, but that was expected, but his shooting has been wayward. Maybe Klopp said to him, calm yourself when you're about to shoot, fed up with his ballooning, hence why he was on the bench, but ego couldn't take it, I just imagine Klopp saying words to deliberately provoke him into that stropp. What ever was said, you cannot show that level of petulance to your manager live on TV. He was stroppy towards Mane, they had a frictionous vibe, though Mane seemed good with all other players. If you're meaning personal by that it the words were from a person's mouth, to a person's ear, then yeah it was person-al. His ego went sky high with that huge contract, that GQ front cover, with a supermodel draped all over him, bet his wife wasn't too enamoured about that, but he is past his prime as time is catching up with him, a move to $audi seems a certainty. And you have his colleagues missing chances and drawing or losing games that they should be scoring, ultimately losing the title and cups. And now Klopp took him off from starting lineup (understandably so, Salah has been underperforming), and his replacement lineup is not winning the game, and Klopp walking up to him and telling him to win the game in certain way, he is tilted.

When a top striker notices an opportunity and he is unduly criticized by his manager when he asked for a well timed and earlier swap, the emotions cannot be held back. On the other hand, why was it that Klopp wanted to shake Salah's hand and not those of the other players? Does this suggest that he wanted Salah to carry the responsibility of winning this game for which he had provided a flawed plan himself. The stress on Salah was further put on fire by the continuing play that did not allow for the opportunity to substitute.
I like Mo salah a lot, but this behaviour is not acceptable, you never talk to your manager like that especially when it's klopp in his final season and whar he did for him. Hopefully he will apologize.
Klopp went to attack salah, I do not know if you watch the game, what if Klopp said something bad to the man. They both made each other better. Why would salah apologize. @nonnayoubuzinnes1669 ManCheater giving this guy another excuse for bottling silverware I see. Gets all the excuses does Jurgen Flopp no money, competing against cheats. Players turning on him maybe he's just washed.
Its not just Liverpool that is suffering from a burn out...I can also see thise signs in City and Arsenal but at different levels.🤔
Jamie Carragher & Kelly Coates makinv excuses. 1 saying he wasny getting ready quick enough, and the other saying Salah comments are that he doesn't want to flame the fan of fire, like the world stupid. 😂
Salah wasn't good and sincere for his country's team how on earth he will be a better player for Liverpool club.
he's been the best player for them for multiple seasons, his importance is equal to klopp's at the club, so noone is in the right in this situation
Imagine blaming Klopp of all people! Tsk tsk Makes me wanna say you don't deserve him anymore.
Salah said that you only leave me ten minutes (pissed off that they equaliser whilst waiting to get on ) on the pitch
No the fight started way back before that. There is another footage from a fan uploaded where they where fighting even earlier. Klopp tried to shake his hand before the goal came from Anthony. Then the goal came, Salah went off the rails.. then the view from the cameras in the stadium showed the argument. But I know Salah was really upset about being put late.
When you win you win as team, if lost as well…. Should not blame each other. Just do best and enjoy till last match. You all have done well for Liverpool.
Koop probably said “ we should’ve kept Mané instead of you” 🥶
Should hav told the team at the end of season not in middle of it
Klopp probably said,,he misses Mane😅
😂😂😂😂
Why would Klopp announce his retirement in the middle of the season impacting the morale of the team. Just wait until the season is over and do whatever you want. It’s not Klopp it’s about the team.
Maybe there'll be something about this in the documentary. The one that Klopp probably didn't want.
Whatever it is...only both of them knows and all of us only assume and presume....Just appreciates what they both has done and achieve at Liverpool...YNWA
Thoughout his Liverpool career, every time Salah is subbed he makes a negative gesture and sulks. He was a great player, but he has to accept that he is no longer a 90 mins every match player. He's proved that recently with tired looking performances. Against both West Ham and Everton, Liverpool had twice the xG that the opposition had based on the chances created. It must be infuriating for Klopp to see everyone missing so many chances and this definitley includes Salah.
Could not even blame both, admittedly they were on a heat. I respect them but I hope this would end in the pitch, outside the pitch should be normal however. It is highly recommended and a MUST for Liverpool FC management, board of directors, coaching staff, people working in their club who are involved on the transfer-market to permanently sell who are currently out on loan to play for another football club, do not offer a loan with buy back clause or with a number or percentage rights, recall or return players that are currently on-loan by another football club to play for Liverpool FC, ageing ((28) years old and above), inconsistent (due to limited playing time, never have played and always on the bench, poor defensively, not performing well) regardless of age, injury prone, those who are not comfortable playing in different position, that MUST happen on or before July 2027. We are referring to Adrián San Miguel del Castillo, Thiago Alcantara, Van Dijk, Matip, Salah, Becker, Endo, Robertson, Tsimikas, Diogo José Teixeira da Silva "Diogo Jota", Nathaniel Phillips, Luis Fernando Díaz Marulanda "Luis Diaz", Joseph Dave Gomez "Joe Gomez". Our beloved club Liverpool FC should focus on acquiring and promoting rising young talents between 17 to 21 years of age. This can be found in Liverpool FC Academy, different team playing in premiere league, outside premiere league (La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1, Bundesliga), or outside Europe (MLS, AFCON, Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, Argentine Super League, and other football league from other countries). This is to save a lot of money to renovate whole Anfield, pay debts to fully comply with Financial Fair Play, and eventually have a great amount of money to sign a superstar in Liverpool FC.
So no one of you saw that' your graphics were wrong 😂
Klopp held his hand out to Salah, Salah did not see it. That is all.
Klopp told Salah that his hairline is dead , then Salah told klopp his teeth are fake that’s where the fight started “According to club sources “
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Deja-vu. I remember KDB telling Pep "shut-up" and Pep replaced him and hugged him during the sub. Then at press conference, Pep said he likes how him and Kevin shout at each other lol... They are pro, they will figure it out. Some Stars Player throw bottle, avoid the coach after a sub. it not always frustration against coach, sometime they are angry at themselves. But they will finally make peace.
