  • I got occlusive DVT in 2007. I’ve been on warfarin ever since and even on warfarin it’s hard to manage my INR. I avoid green food because that will take my INR. Even if I eat a little bit during the week consistently, my INR will be well below, where my doctor wants it. I don’t do regular testing anymore and haven’t for a very long time. I don’t drink much alcohol. I eat a lot of proteins and I feel physically very well and my blood work is always really good in my annual exam. I have one coming up so it will be interesting to compare from last year. Living with DVT is very difficult because of the swelling. I just wish there was no swelling.

  • Natural foods and work that is equivalent to your calorie intake. My parents were eating natural foods we gardened and they were up in eighties and they had never dieted or ate any frozen foods other than natural foods that were canned food by mom. We all ate rather naturally and anything else just wasn’t introduced to us a small town with people who were kind of in some way having huge family gatherings and eating healthy foods that we caught or grew in our own backyard. We simply didn’t have enough illness to speak of my goodness we would decide to have a barbecue after church and that was 10 at night we gathered our butchered chicken and other meats and potatoes no thawing food in a microwave we didn’t have any then. We just had a wonderful meal and we didn’t have any problems with time or calories we loved being together and telling stories about our family I wish they were here now and all passed naturally and were late eighties or nineties and I try to keep it up with my family. We do grow our own food and can it. So live love and respect your family and your bodies no smoking! ,drinking or drugs ! No shots ! I just think we should give our bodies a chance to heal us before we get a shot that could be fatal for us not all but some people can’t take it seriously we are all different and no two people are equal we must remember that and pray. 🙏 This is my opinion and you must do what you believe in and know your own body. Take care .😊❤

  • That´s a good reason to start clean keto. Carbs and sugars are ultra low. Saturated and trasfats doesn´t belong to the diet (nothin processed fats and oils like margarine and seed oils). Mostly whole foods and made from the scratsh so no extra salts from the processed foods. Also living with ketones instead of carbs/glucose is grait for the brains too. So at least for getting blood clots is nearly impossible also the inflamation level is low or non at all.

    • Keto is all about eating lots of bacon & red meat, cheeses, animal proteins, which has alot of saturated fats in it. That's not too bad as long as it's all from grass-fed animals. Most of what ppl eat on Keto ISN'T that good. And Keto isn't for everybody. It's a lifestyle, not a diet which means if you live with others in the same home that love their carbs, & you're not known for having willpower, it's a recipe for yo-yo dieting and that is bad for you. Diets are like religious; one isn't the answer for everybody so stop preaching it's all that and a bag of low carb chips. 😂

      @andreah6379@andreah63793 ай бұрын
    • @@andreah6379 I deffenetly knew that this isn´t going to be just a diet for me. I took it as a lifestyle. Also i have no crawings for carbs. My kids eat still carb based food for living. I also didn´t had sweet tooth before keto so it were quite easy for me to resist all kind of sweet treats. Well at the start i ate much of bacon & eggs. Now it´s maybe once in week or two for bacon, and i have lower consume of eggs as well. Eggs are essential on ketogenic life as a super food that has lots of vitamines, nutrients, proteine, omega 3 and keeps hunger away for long time. Last meal were salmon and root vegetables. So there sure are long scale to eat when you are on keto. There is so much of health benefits that i could not even imagine. I don´t care about your opinnion. As long you´ve never been on keto 3 months or longer period you wont have a clear good picture how healthy it truly is. I´ve done this now about 11 months and BMI has come down from 36,1 to 27,8. So i am not obese anymore and not very far away from "normal" weight on the BMI scale either. I haven´t been as thin that i am now for eleven years. Haven´t been as healthy either who knows when...

    @marilynferro9546@marilynferro95463 ай бұрын
    • Because there is nothing wrong with them. There is plenty.of good research (such as from the Harvard school of medicine) which shows that omega 6 oil isn't, of itself, damaging. It helps lower cholesterol when part of a normal sensible diet. What should be banned is processed food and food outlets that use deep-fat fryers and only rare ly changing the oil. Constantly re-heating the oil can create nasty chemicals, as highlighted in this video. Cooking with seed oils at home is perfectly healthy as long as the oil isn't constantly reheated. And processed sugar most definitely should be banned But honestly, one of the best 'foods' is regular exercise. If you eat this you will feel so much better mentally and physically

  • I find it useful to have the information about the foods that are likely to cause blood clotting. But it seems to be a bit abstract. I wonderful if the producers of this KZhead video would make another one providing viewers with (1) Your weekly shopping list of food items that you actually pick up from the market where you do your weekly grocery shopping. (2) Write about how you actually cook those food items. (3) Give factual description of how you eat your daily meals. All should be presented in a factual manner without modification. I wonderful if the KZhead video producers would want to do something like this. I'll appreciate it. There are abundant video materials on KZhead about the similar subject; but all sounds good in theory, but hard to put in practice as to what exactly one should do in real life when he/she needs to eat every day and go shopping every week. For example, the video designates both sugar and its alternative sweetener as harmful without giving what would be a healthier substitute.

We need to keep things in perspective. In any event, I believe in freedom and do not believe that the government needs to take over and be your mother by banning everything for everyone else. Education and moderation are key. Common sense too. Good health to all!
