What is the difference between "true" tea and "herbal" tea? And what are the best types of tea for fighting diabetes and heart disease?
1) Green tea contains a variety of bioactive compounds, including EPIGALLOCATECHIN GALLATE, an antioxidant that has been shown to protect ENDOTHELIAL CELLS - or the lining of arteries - from oxidative damage caused by free radicals.
2) Turmeric tea is an herbal tea that contains the antioxidant CURCUMIN, which has been extensively studies for its potential to improve arterial health. Studies show that curcumin has the ability to significantly reduce certain inflammatory markers that are linked to atherosclerosis - meaning it can help protect against cardiovascular damage.
3) Ginseng tea supplies GINSENOSIDES - which have been found to help deactivate certain inflammatory responses in the body, thereby reducing the risk of chronic inflammation. That can help to mitigate the effects of multiple conditions, including heart disease.
4) Black tea provides powerful bioactive catechins and polyphenols, specifically THEAFLAVINS and THEARUBIGINS, which can increase antioxidant capacity in the bloodstream. This has been shown to reduce oxidative stress while protecting endothelial cells that line the arteries.
5) Chamomile tea possesses potent antioxidants, including FLAVONOIDS, TERPENOIDS, and POLYPHENOLS, which can reduce specific inflammatory markers that may mitigate the risk of arterial inflammation and arterial plaque buildup.

Great! How many cups of greens you drink?
once daily, one teabag per two cup pot. You could have more of course, but I cannot. @@yehuditwertheimer3300
I drink (and you should too) Matcha green tea. It’s green tea leaves that are ground into a powder. So instead of steeping the leaves and then throwing them away, you are consuming the whole leaf. Which means that you’re going to get more of the wonderful benefits green tea has to offer 🤩 Just make sure you’re buying organic ceremonial Matcha, not culinary Matcha which is more bitter.
Just bought some Matcha 👍

Very good,my daughter always take matcha tea❤
I have green tea and chamomile tea at home and these are the teas I drink everyday, thank you for this beautiful tips.

I'm glad they are helping.I can drink green or black teas daily. why I can't stand chamomile tea.Not a bad taste.I can't stand it.
Good information ❤
Good presentation 👍👍 Informative video ♥
THANK YOU FOR HELPING PEOPLE.
Thank you very much you are not too old to learn
Aloha, thanks for sharing.
Hi there. Thanks for sharing your information. ❤❤❤❤
Thank you 💕 God bless you ❤
Thankful
Thank you for the good info ❤
Good stuff.
It has been found that blending black and green tea has more benefits than either of them alone , also Earl Grey tea has more polyphenol benefits than black or green teas❤❤ furthermore, dairy binds to the polyphenols rendering them much less beneficial , coconut creamers don’t do that, beware of artificial creamers with trans fats
Beware of coconut creamers/milk that are full of junk food fillers to include false sugars.
Earl grey tea is one of my favorites. I like the Great Value brand. Tastes really good and costs a lot less than name brands.
Thanks you saved me a bunch of time
Thanks for sharing this information Sir God BleS
Are decaffeinated teas do have the same benefits? Can’t tolerate caffeinated ones since they raise my blood pressure.
Thanks for this great tips
Thanks for sharing ❤️
Thanks and God bless 🙌 🙏
Very interesting 👌
Great 👍 informative video
Thank you so much for the message 💃💃💃💃🇿🇲🇿🇲
Well, if the science is there, that must mean that these teas were conducted under ideal circumstances. So, how was the tea brewed? Which brands were used? What was the water temp? What kind of water was used? How long was the brewing? At what temp did the tea work best for consuming? How did you gauge the benefits after consuming the tea? How long was the study used before publishing the results you got?
WOW GLOBETROTTER, you are the bomb ! Smart cookie,,, without the cream and sugar 😂
A tea is a tea, Just hot water and leafs, or leafs powder and Hot boiling water set for fiew minutes ready to drinko for cinco.
Then again there is always questions of exact heat temp etc etc good questions but nothing to get hung up on either ask yourself what's better maybe drinking the wrong brand and not brewed at the right temp or shoving a snickers and cheetos in your pie hole? Meditate on that.....
Salamat Doc.
Had my blood sugar checked today cause I was experiencing high blood sugar symptoms and with fasting, my blood sugar was 6.1. It’s normally 5.4 or 5.5 at my last check, months ago. Your video is useful for me. I’m gonna start drinking chamomile tea nightly

Golden oolong tea cleans your liver. I am type 2 and this tea has made a huge difference. Not changing anything and big difference in my A1C.
I've never heard of Golden Oolong, where do you get it?
@@pamelastorer8570 Hi, I buy it by the 12 pack but it is a box. I buy from Amazon or Walmart. Amazon has the best price. It comes in bottles already to chill in your fridge. It helped me to lose 20 pounds. Enjoy!
What is your A1C mean please😮
@@elizabethmilligan2197 That is a blood test done at a lab. It tells your Dr. what your blood sugars average out to over 3 months. It helps the Dr. determine if your insulin needs to be adjusted. If the person takes insulin shots daily.
Drs like to keep a person's A1C around 5 or 6. Mine was 7.5 the last time. That is high but it was good for me as mine was running around 8 to 9. I'm working on it.
Sounds good 👍
Thanks so much ❤🦋
Loose leaf teas yield better brews than tea bags. I use a French press pot for brewing.
I really really love green tea

What about teas that work with your iron levels? I read some teas like turmeric don’t work favorably with the absorption of iron.

Try supplementing EGCG as well as drinking green tea.
Important The public is campaigning for the health industry to have permanent safe health cures in place that will keep all people healthy for life
In my country 72 pct are overweight, half of those obese. So before we clamor for the "health industry" to do something, it might just be better for each of us to just do something for ourselves It doesn't take doctors or industry -- it just takes a little self discipline
Good luck with that the medical, big pharma industries ALL OF THEM will NEVER do anything for natural health you see corruption and disgusting A-holes have no care about others health...seriously
Tanx
Thanks for the info. Next time get to the point well before the 2:10 point. 👍🏼

@@DiabetesSmartsProgram Otherwise great info. Thx
Thank you for sharing this information with me I will try it immediately. Is there any tea or natural medication that can help reverse kidney disease and failure like the Chinese Red Sage and where to find it.
There are many tea types and regions in the world. Also, time of tea harvest affects the quality and amount of antioxidants. Green teas are semi fermented or lightly roasted with very high antioxidants. China grown white tea has the highest antioxidant content followed by the dragon tea. Oolong and jasmine teas are also very good for healthy living. Linden tea helps body to recover from cold and flue. So, drink more tea….❤
Can anyone share the amount of various teas per day? Thanks! ☕️
So glad this video is about REAL teas, not some onion and garlic mixture calling it a “tea” like on another video elsewhere.
Can they drink when takeing meds
You forgot hibiscus tea, which I have read can lower blood pressure. I bought some, but actually prefer green tea, flavored with either Earl Gray or jasmine.
What about ginger tea? It has some excellent properties for the body
Ginger tea is good for nausea and reduces fever
A1C is a measure of your blood sugar ratio over a three month period, ideally you don’t want the A1C to be over 5.0
To me personally, this is very common knowledge. What’s important to note, consider getting an allergy test before consuming chamomile. I’m highly allergic to it. Many people are and most don’t know it. It’s basically a weed, given a fancy name. LOL Unfortunately it is added to many products these days, including shampoos, soaps, skin lotions and more. Take the time to get an allergy test and read labels.
Chamomile makes u bleed out. Good to know to not take before surgery and for women 😮

How much tea should you consume daily to see benefits? Is there a daily limit to how much you should drink? Are there any side effects?
Not to overcharge the kidneys only once or two at day but don't drink sweet stuff again.
1 Green Tea 2 Turmeric Tea 3 Jinang Tea 4 Black Tea 5 Chamomile Tea ******* Best One
Mullein tea should be added to the list

Black and green teas cause insomnia, I can consume them.
You mean you CANT consume them, the opposite of what you typed.
What about rooibos tea
Rooibos tea is herbal red tea and has no caffeine. It should be included in video, too.
No caffeine and good for you. I know some doctors drink it so can't be bad! I have about 3 or 4 a day. My blood pressure dropped.

A couple of hours before bed.
White tea?
Is it better to take in pill or drink tea?
drinking tea is always a better alternative to pills
Pls is there any medical side effects in cooking and consuming all the types of leafy teas together at once
That is an interesting question, though there may not yet be extensive studies investigating that exact topic. Best to avoid trying this experiment on yourself, though it most likely would not result in any significant side-effects. Still, just to play it safe, stick to consuming one type of tea at a time.
❤❤❤❤
how much of each tea should you drink a day? would it do harm to drink one cup of each of these teas a day? what is recommended for the sweeting of the teas? I'd really like to know these answers.
I appreciate and thank you for your reply.@@judithstorck5195
@@judithstorck5195 If the concern is just cutting out sugar for it's own sake, honey is fine. Just realize that sugar and honey have the exact same effect on blood sugars. Your body doesn't know the difference.
Motivationaldoc channel here on KZhead recommends “Stevia” to sweeten your tea! Check his channel out! Always good information with studies listed in description of his videos. 🥰
Thanks for replying i will check out the channel and Stevia.@@jinafromwv6391
I used stevia on my teas
Well as much as there are benefits, there are also adverse side effects which are never mentioned. The safest way to manage diabetes is through healthy diet and exercise period. The majority of side effects that need to be mentioned are the high amounts of oxalates that increase the risk of kidney stones, And interfere with kidney function... and kidney function is a much higher concern for diabetics- especially those taking metformin! It also can cause diarrhea, indigestion, stomach ulcers, rash etc... it can also harm the liver. The worst part IMO is the reports that it can induce damage in several cell lines, including bone marrow cells! You don't have to be a doctor to know the facts, do your research and even though you can consider the advice given online, do your own complete research, talk to to your doctor before adding this to your day!
