You must have gotten one of the original “Beta” versions of The Skoll. Nobody I’ve heard of outside of those that got the mouse early to be reviewed has said that they have the protection wrapped circuit board like your does. Mine does not have this feature. Apparently G Wolves made some changes. Thanks for the review. 👍🏻

I just bought a G305 and put a AAA Lithium in it but I need more/less. Could you do an extreme weight reduction video on the G305 similar to that of the G Pro? Not just a battery mod like every other 10000 videos on KZhead, but a proper mod where you take out bits that you don't need/aren't important?

Glad you are enjoying the content. Weight is like shape is all down to your personal preference; there is no perfect weight or shape for everyone. What works for me night not work for you. I'm happy with a weight between 80g and 60g atm.
Mouse review would be a good place to look im ussually on there helping people out with choosing mouse but weight is nowhere near as important as shape and comfort everyone will tell you that

Glad you liked it, I would just take it easy there is now rush :-). You can re use the feet but sometimes they need more stick as they lose it when removed so you will need something like double sided M3 tape or a new set of skatez.

Question is, will is scratch at a level 6 with deeper grooves at a level 7 in all seriousness do the internals tell you anything about the mice after a while. like does it seem like a quality mouse internally or do the internals not depict things like this
haha, I'll have to ask Jerry to borrow is pointy scraper. It can. This one has parts that you see in the final mouse or other more expensive brands. I can't fault the components used though I'm not familiar with JAS switches that they have used on the sides. It also uses a scroll wheel I've not seen before but what is nice to know if they have tried to protect it from liquid spills.

Thinking about opening mine since the scroll wheel button feels a bit strange.. Were you able to re use the glides you took away or did you just put new ones in?
I could reuse them. A few people have said using liter fluid works also but I've not tested it.

Beardedbob nothing over the top, iv got some ss10 golden sun Swarovski crystals that I might put on the stroll wheel that should be small enough if I take the rubber off. As for the colour I’m honestly not sure wot to do. I no this may sound nuts but iv got an idea that if I was to make a hand strap and attach to each side without interfering with my fingers then It would allow me to use the base of my hand to left/swipe while leaving my fingers more free for aim/side button without trying to grip the mouse.
Hey bob a tip or alternative method to remove feet I got from a Japanese repair shop. Instead of hairdryers u would use lighter fluid “zippo” brand in US. It will evaporate and not harm anything. This will cleanly allow sticky side to cleanly come off and retain sticky properties and u won’t warp or bend the feet. I use same 3m double sided ultra thin double tape that Zowie uses for replacement mice. In case it looses too much of its adhesive propertiesThought u may get some use from this my new friend ! Ohh this mainly for large feet ur method is perfect for these smaller feet!
Hi, Cool tip do you use a cloth to apply it? it is a problem if you bend them but again as you have said using some M3 tape can help sick them back.
Beardedbob no cloth the type of lighter fluid zippo brand uses evaporates almost instantly! Once u lift up a small portion continue to squirt a little under the feet as u go

Yes this can be taken off and sould not affect the mouse. I can't say 100% it wouldn't as I've not tried it yet.

Yeah, you have to heat them so you don't bend them and they peel off easily. I've not tried it so I would check, but Zippo lighter fluid can remove them. Atm, I use a hairdryer and a soft plastic tool. O If the adhesive isn't great, I use double-sided M3 tape to stick them back down which is thin.

A few things to consider, you need to decide what it is you want. Zowie have a rock solid reputation in building mice where Skoll are new to this market. The Skoll is significantly lighter if weight is a problem. The Skoll has software. The Skolls cable is much more flexible where the EC2 would benefit from a Paracord. The EC2 Is easier to buy and more available. Which shape works for you?.
@@Beardedbob have used a ec2 before and I like the shape but the buttons and scroll are really bad that's the only reason I'm hesitating to buy ec2 I prefer mouse for palm users tried Model O but it doesn't fit my grip
My G wolves skoll stopped working today and it has something to do with the usb port of the mouse itself any advice ? I dont want to open it

How do I buy this in the uk?
The only place I know you can get it from is X-Raypad. I'm guessing they're US based so you'd be paying the $58.90/$59.90 plus shipping and then 20% tax on top of both the mouse price and shipping, unless they mark the price down (which they shouldn't really but some do) then you won't have to pay the 20% tax... Always assume that you will though. At that price you shouldn't have to pay any customs charges but you may also get hit with a handling and processing fee (or whatever it's called) depending on who it's delivered by. I believe some can be like £8-£12 or like 5% of the cost of the item but don't quote me on that and some don't charge a fee. Basically, it can cost quite a bit. I'm going to try and get in touch with G Wolves about getting this in the UK, because I want the Hati.
