  • I had one of these wacky clear cases once. It was probably a lot different than this because this was back in like 2010 or so. It was my first ever gaming pc, my friend and his dad were super into it and they were nice enough to give me some extra use able parts they had and help me find all the right parts and build my pc. They had this clear acrylic case, it was huge and super heavy but we had blue led set up in there and it actually looked pretty sick for back then. It was also a total tank, no wobble at all. It was actually a very good case. I have no clue where the thing came from, there was no branding or anything like that on it. One day I wanna find a good quality clear case again and build an homage to that first rig

  • To be fair, the mouse pad without RGB I own and it holds up very well in quality. No threads undone yet after 14 months. Also I washed it in the sink with dish washing soap after I soaked it with beer and even got stains removed and still it is in great condition. So the mouse pad without RGB I highly recommend. UPDATE: Someone just recently liked my comment so it reminded me to make an update about the mouse pad. It's not a major problem, but the stitching around the mouse pad is starting and ending right at the middle on the right side, which is exactly where my mouse hand ends up sometimes. It's kind of annoying and I'm afraid that it some day will get undone. The upper outer edge would have been a lot better place to start and end it. Just something for others wanting to buy one, to think about.

  • @Alex: Just a tip for peeling off paper or any protective foil from acrylic: Soak it in water! It will come off almost by itself after a minute. I got a ton of decade old acrylic for free where the plastic foil has fractured into thousand pieces. It was virtually impossible to peel all those tiny pieces off one after the other while not getting scratches on the Acrylic. But luckily the LDPE Foil soaks up water quite fast, as all plastics do. Not by much, but as you know, humidity can be a problem with 3d filaments as well as lead to warping of plastic sheets. I usually let them soak for 15minutes and then brush it off.

So basically as soon as Linus did anything with the GPU and most likely the CPU as well under any load would trip the PSU causing it to fail to give the needed amps required by the system.
