She most likely has financial advisers as anyone would of any age when you have THAT much money to handle and things to buy that the average person wouldn’t, but her parents and her seem to have the type of relationship where they wouldn’t “control” what she does with her money. That being said I think she lives at home still because it’s a comfort.

Whats so good about it is everything she has catapulted with her success has been done with the support of her family. She still has a sense of normalcy because her family is still so much involved with helping her to keep achieving great success and she doesn't outgrow them. That's humbling for her. Kudos to her brother.
Depression is as real as it sounds. Trauma, substances, genes, environment, and paternal/maternal factors play a huge role. It can be caused by one of those things. And it's no fun life.
Chris Baptiste And can for sure be heightened by hormonal changes, during puberty and other key moments in a persons life. Who didn’t go through their teens without those heightened emotion? The capacity to feel and express what ever we have inside in true genuine outings is one of the things that makes Billie stand out so much and speak to all of us.

i really love her music. a lot of my favorites are also the ones that make me feel the saddest, but mostly because I relate to them. and the sudden sweep of sadness or darkness is because I block out the things that I'm stressed over, the stuff that eats at me, and i don't even mean to block it out.

that would be a dream... but my reality is that i live next to a church, whose guy play and sing the whole day, and never get one note only...
I find it sad that that people think “nobody would relate to her songs” I’ve been in a pretty dark place these last few months and Billie’s songs are literally personal to me I relate to them on another level, I never thought I could relate to songs more then I relate to hers.
I am 64 and love love her music. I dance with my grandchildren, two of which play (😉) my guitar and piano. Yes, music is LIFE….AND SHE IS FULL OF LIFE, CREATION AND PASSION!
She's not dark, I actually think Billie is a wonderful human-being, kind, beautiful, fun, funny... I could go on.

Love this young lady. She reminds of my favorite, kd lang....trying to stay true to herself....it's about the music...clothes are something you wear for comfort......she's got holes in her stockings.....she likes jumping around all over stage...
