  • Finally an interviewer, who treats an adolescent female like an adult, respectable person and artist. No stupid teenage magazine questions about dream boys, her love life or her favorite nail polish and stuff. Well done, Tom!

    • Agree completely. There was so much sincerity from the interviewer. Like he was intent on creating meaningful interaction, not grabbing sound bytes. Super refreshing to see an interviewer really engage the one being interviewed. Even Billie said it in the interview, she was like "wow you really want to know, you're not just crossing questions off a list" And because she realized his sincerity she answered more sincerely instead of using the "rehearsed answers"

    • yeah. She was so much happier when she didn’t have millions of supporters. (I’m not saying she wasn’t happy that she was blowing up) she just got pressure by the fame. Cause everyone expects her to be perfect and be a princess, but like no matter your age, we all make mistakes. She’s also talked about depression and her friend dying? I don’t know how she can still do it, I just want her to take a break for atleast 6 months or more for her to get a rest. She’s trying her hardest to put out songs for her fans which we LOVE but I also want her to start taking care of herself as well. Yeah she is doing great right now, but really she deserves to have a little fame nap. I’m not famous or anything, but your fans can put so much pressure on you releasing something and no one in her fandom usually realises that. She’s 16 (almost 17, in December) and she has like 15 singles and she’s only been doing it for 2 years. She is amazing and so many people have so much negative comments to say to her, no matter what she does. It’s her humour, she sometimes says thing she regrets. I just want her to take care. Ok I’ll stop 😂😂😂

She says way too much ignorant and potentially harmful things for her young fans who idolize her to hear and adopt. She shouldn't be speaking much on things until she educates herself, gains life experience and matures. @ She is too vapid to realize the stupidity, ignorance and detrimental nature of what she said there. @ another example of stupidity: 'dope' to Napster allowing illegal downloading of music, which was horrendous for the music industry overall"

  • Do you know what I find so sad is that people who act like billie, dress like billie are often teased/bullied at school - Billie is different and she doesn’t care and she wears what she wants yet at school when someone does that, they’re penalised or teased for being different and not acting like everybody else. It’s weird what fame does to you but people are so judgemental nowadays and it’s pretty obvious why the people who were considered different or weird at school are the ones who end up being the most successful BECAUSE they’re not normal, they’re not like other girls and boys. They are themselves. I do hope Billie continues to perpetuate this whole demeanour she carries at the moment 💗

Life isn't meant to share with everyone (Billie says this in the video). Everyone has their own life to live and your memories are yours. It happened, you experienced it, and you changed from it. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. You have pictures inside your head, no camera necessary.

The girl in my daydream was a little bit different but creepily similar to Billie. I daydreamed that she would rule the 2020s and become a legend. The girl in my daydream even wore lots of black and chains like Billie. I'm not saying I'm psychic, but if my daydream tells me anything, this girl is going to become insanely famous. I didn't find about Billie because of instagram, or twitter. I didn't see her on Facebook. I found her listening to new music I hadn't heard (something as a creative helps influence new avenues of art) and was hooked. I showed her to my wife, who is 40 and not very musically interested, fell in love. The bottom line is, when you are true to your soul, when you try to live in truth, the masses will find you eventually, I am just glad the universe showed me Billie and her brother before I left this place. How proud I can be of other peoples children is amazing.

If you listen to a sad or happy song, you don't have to relate or connect to like it or even like the artist. Sometimes the lyrics just hit you so deep, & you're just amaze or just simply UNDERSTAND.... Maybe that's just what they want, to have people to hear them out. Its okay to express your true emotions, cuz you're just who you are. #TBH #TBT

  • it always makes me cry to hear tons of people singing along at a show, even when I don't know the artist super well. art and productions involving lots of people being pulled off successfully just moves me to tears every damned time.

  • This is probably the best interview I've ever watched. They usually make me so uncomfortable and seem so forced and awkward. But his questions were so well thought out! And hearing how her mind works is always fascinating. Such an old soul. I just pray she can stay strong and keep creating!

  • I like the old soul vibe I get from her. She likes music that’s not popular, and wants to help out others that are creating true art just like her. I think we can all learn at least one thing from this 16 year old genius. I love you billie, take a break whenever you need it 💕

  • i feel like this interviewer doesn't really vibe with her too much in some ways lmao they kinda clashed a lil bit but it was a more interesting thing to see than an awkward thing because of their honesty with each other lmao. like one of the questions was one that didn't really fit her, and he was REALLY tryna be optimistic with the perspective on life.

    • OnlyMichaelJackson (Angel) Reminds me of school , teacher & a student. He’s probably like 28 and she’s 16 so it’ll be hard for them to vibe.

    • I feel like Billie felt challenged because (she even said it her self) he was asking real question. Questions he expected with real answer. She said she usually has an immediate response, a repetitive answer but she noticed that he wanted the truth. So it forced her to be somewhat truthful. To actually think of her answers. Not just be done with the interview and on the next. I liked this interview a lot. And I liked him too. Very well executed.

    • He’s asking her real questions. He’s actually a really good interviewer, which doesn’t mean he needs to “vibe” with the people he interviews. It means that he is able to ask questions that invoke honest answers because he’s asking meaningful questions. She also has a very nihilistic outlook, and he may be slightly taken aback by that, due to her age and fame. But a good interview doesn’t require the people to be best friends, that’s unrealistic. Being able to have a conversation with someone even though you don’t see eye to eye with them is important for the entertainment industry, and not enough people see that.

  • I would really like to see and hear her interact with Ed Sheeran. I think there's this vibe, that I can only describe as a certain kind of chillness, for lack of a better word, that they share. Yet she's so young, and has this sadness in her, and his spirit is rather uplifting. I would love to see it. Make it happen, universe.
