James Holzhauer continued his streak of winning and impressing on Wednesday when he won his 20th game of "Jeopardy!" in a row. And once again, like many of his wins, he broke the $100,000 mark.
Guy is incredible. He’s like a cyborg the way he destroys those questions so calmly.
This guy is phenomenal. Don't stop what you do, sir! Keep it up! #VegasStrong
I've been watching him from day 1 and he is by far the best Jeopardy contestant there ever was. Ken Jennings was pretty good but this guy is going better.
Jeopardy will never be the same again. James changed the way people look at Jeopardy (well, for me at least)
Lol. No. Jennings is better. He just won the greatest of all time tournament against James and Rutter.
I believe that James can do whatever the hell he wants with his money. He earned it himself. Good for him. I hope he breaks all the records. I love watching him.
Maybe the net Jeopardy host?
Love watching and cheering on James, he is supremely smart! 😳
James May be the best medicine for Alex in addition to his other treatment and all the well-wishers. The show’s ratings are through the roof and Alex doesn’t want to miss this phenomenon of a young man at this December stage of his life. God bless both of them.
Keep up the great work James!
That's beautiful man go James do it for the family
I love James, he's like a great sportsman. A once in a generation player.
James, what a gift you have ! It is so exciting to watch you perform your gift on Jeopardy!! Jeopardy is one of my favorite shows and always look forward to it. NOW , even more so. You really ARE phenomenal ! I can only guess that you have a photographic mind and total recall. keep it up!! It is wonderful!!
This guy is great
Great I wanna aspire to be that intense
Amazing, amazing, amazing man. He’s so unique and a pleasure to watch.
Plus I love how the other contestants sweat and get so frustrated it's so satisfying
He's knowledgeable in all categories!!
love this guy hope u keep on winning
James is a monster!!!!! He's insane! I'm rooting for this guy!!!!! Cmon james!!!!!
Finally, something Las Vegas can be proud of!
Great family resemblance!
NICE GUY FINISH FIRST AND WIN WIN WIN WIN AND OF COURSE WIN
James' brother: "What TV show you want to be, Katie?" Katie: "Ummmmm, Jeopardy!" Wow, such an inspiration. I'm sure she will be a Jeopardy contestant in the future.
@@BL-mf3jp he said in the future, do you know how to read?
He seems normal like a guy you can have a drink with. I love this guy. So smart and cool.
I am always disappointed when someone else got the the daily double. He is so much fun to watch .He is the BEAST . I am a huge fan of James . 5000,000. $$$$$ James !
Never seen anyone with this wide ranging depth of knowledge. Amazing
ME BEING JEALOUS 0:55 eye rolls
JAMES YOU ARE LIKE GOOGLE, YOU are a genius man trash those bashers
Jeopardy executives have recently obtained second mortgages on their homes, and taken personal lines of credit.
Can you verify your above statement? How???
Genie Schiegg omg do you know what a joke is 😒
@@lexiesdaisy Guess my "joke gene" was disconnected that day. In this crazy world, your comment could have been real.
There's one person who going to really love Uncle James one that's unlce Sam,nice to see a man not act a fool and be aragent over his success, way off in the future after Alex bests all the cancer and hangs it up for the final time, James might be in the running to replace the ledgien,a different style good looking, class and knowledge, hell now one thought Bob Barker was really going to go on forever did they, just something to think about, thanks
1:04 “Eat Love Pray” lol
I’m not going to judge Lebron’s brother on his ability to make a free throw
It was a great run!
Great family!!
Now we need to see the Ken vs. James show!!
I wished I was as smart as James. For a calm mannered guy , his fast answers like the mind of God
James is the smartest guy in the world!
And he's quick on the button
tenningale ... 1 day ago He only bet just enough to secure 2nd. If the guy doubled to $22k and he got it wrong, he would've beat him out for second by $1. She was probably going to be aggressive and couldn't catch her with a double (would've lost by $1), so his wager made sense.
We got our Ken Jennings for this decade
Very smart
being smart and having a large encompassing memory and very fast reflex/recall features are a vast difference
1:33 Awww, childhood photos are so adorable.
"Had to be stimulated" lol
A very delightful family. His brother and sister - in - law have raised sweet kids and none of them are infatuated with the camera. They are all just smart and are excited by their uncle on Jeopardy A very nice little clip.
Congrats and good luck , with the family and friends, Who know him, love and care for him the most , beautiful children in the family
James needs to be the new host, when Alex retires!!!!!
Ok. This title made me think James died
We're all in for #James on Jeopardy. The Bergmans
Hes made everyone else on show boring
If the Jeopardy people waited so very long to select James, *they're* not that smart.
surferpam - Maybe they recognized his genius and put off selecting him, knowing that he would probably win a huge amount of money. Just a thought...
@@Andrea-xs4ny They waiting until Alex was ready to kick the bucket. Oh wait. LOL.
Are they twins? They have the same smile. Hahaha
but in their childhood photos, one seems older than the other
After Jeopardy Nevadans should elect him to Congress!
OMG! HIS BROTHER LOOKS JUST LIKE HIM!!
The Asian Gene is strong.
Whoa cbs does jeopardy in LV, that’s crazy asl
I like how James’s bro didn’t seem very amused at the start. Just like “yep, same shit as always.” XD
....after his own wife said to their daughter, "I'm always nervous." Maybe big bro is a lil worried about her tiring of the old bull, & ready to move on to the young calf?
James looks like his brother!
So photographic memory, Autism, Mensa or a combination?
He's just a very smart guy with a great memory ,period!!
Rain man
Why is everyone trying to put him in some sort of category.? Just give credit where it's due. Jealous much!
@@suepost9026 because he is a strange guy...
@@RM-ly7kc Not really. I'm sure it's not easy being on the show with cameras in your face. Anyway, who isn't a little strange . Lol
RIP
Who died?
I wonder how James will do tonight it would be cool if he plays with Ken J
James will not be on for two weeks due to the Teachers tournament.
Wait until the IRS learns how much he won.
Now James is getting close to $2.5 Million! He’s going to smash Ken Jennings’ record!
The Official Andy Saenz forget it! KJ knows all.
*He's part Asian! Now, the world is beginning to make more sense!* 🤓
Ah his grandmother is asain
I would love to see a week long or even one time match with Ken Jennings. Ratings would be great.
We got to see an 8-game, 4-match series and Ken beat him 277,000 to 213,000. You could even add Brad's 50,000 point score and he still beat them both combined. Truly amazing.
3:00 I have a pet peeve that someone outside of the family thinks that a family member is going to pay for another’s college tuition or some kind of bullshit. He can do whatever the fuck he wants with his money. This show lost all credibility when that anchor said that.
Mr Balls
Wth I thought that was him
Didn't break Ken Jennings record
He has an Asian blood.
It didn't even occur to me that he had Asian heritage until I saw how Asian his brother looks. Sure enough, he's half Japanese.
@@posysdogovych2065 *Actually quarter Japanese I believe (25%).
@@TheVainakhTribes Yes, his grandmother. She is mentioned in one of his 15 clue interviews.
@@DL-ep5uk not necessarily... however I've met many half Asian people and they always appear much more Asian/mongoloid than James. James appears very Caucasoid, which is why I assumed he must be only 25% Japanese. If anyone knows for sure, let us know.
No wonder why he's so smart!
Isn't James half Asian
James has an amazing memory. He controls the buzzer so precisely and answers before I, at home can absorb the question completely. I'm a Jeopardy aficionado, however, I stopped watching after he surpassed a $million. I began supporting the 2 other befuddled contestants, which then made me feel TOO frustrated. So, if Jeopardy Officials want to pass the money to one person in order to boost ratings, so be it. But, last year at the end of one show, Alex Trebec gave disparaging comments about contestants breaking the tradition of starting at the top of each category, rather jumping into the bottom one. James has been allowed since his first day to do this, thus with his acumen, can make thousands at the start. I wonder if Vegas will allow him to return to gamble again
Look, I'm not the biggest fan of the guy either, for numerous reasons, not the least of which is that he's simply too good, but it's not fair to criticize his playing style. Frankly, doing so makes it harder for his opponents giving him an even greater advantage, jumping around the board makes you have to think even better and faster, about different topics in rapid succession, something which James is incredibly adept at, so if he wants to do it it's his right. Arthur Chu did it and got demonized, and now James does similar; I just say, if you don't like it, BEAT HIM.
Everyone has always been ‘allowed’ to pick whatever clue they want when they have control of the board. Trebek has made comments about people jumping around because it often leads to mistakes or just blank stares waiting on the timeout buzzer. That’s not an issue for James - he is answering more clues correctly than any other contestant ever (Ken Jennings is still considered the trivia king and James is averaging about 2 more clue answers per game) and his strategy also allows him to completely snowball his money earned. It’s great TV for those who enjoy excellence.
Stephen, thanks for your reply which I've pondered. I suppose I just want my favorite quiz show to "get back to normal." I miss the joy of watching contestants ace an entire category, for example.
He seems smug and pompous to me.
Genie Schiegg Last I heard, contestants were obligated to follow the rules of a game, not its “traditions”.
It was wrong I belive he did not want to win the way he bet come on it was a set up.
.
The boy just ain't right!!!!!🙄🤔
You can tell his brother is depressed.
um no. maybe you're depressed?
With due respect, I hope James actually does something worthwhile for the sake of others, something besides enriching himself betting on sports in Vegas; I have more respect for the guy cleaning the toilets at the Bellagio.
How do you know he doesn't do "worthwhile" things with HIS money. You sound very judgemental.
Absolutely! I do too.
Hear Hear!!
@@DL-ep5uk just because you pledge money, doesn't mean they'll get it!
How much money do you give away mydogskips2? Why don't you worry about yourself. He can do whatever he wants with HIS money.
i am sick of him, I wish he would retire,. When is enough enough?
can't wait for James to lose. He's wrecking Jeopardy for a lot of people. It's not fun seeing the same person win day after day and monopolize the game. He's a gambling addict who needs to get a real job and maybe use his incredible smarts to do some good in this world.
SOUR GRAPES!!! IF YOU WERE AS SMART AS HIM, YOU'D TAKE THE $$$$ AND RUUUUUN!!!
I hadn't watched on a daily basis since the early nineties, but I haven't missed a single episode with James. I am enjoying having a two-week break to catch up on other stuff, though. It's cute when people disparage other people's well paying jobs as not real enough.
hi has a winning strat but beating people on the button and taking the high bets early thus leaving no one with a chance to win.. surprised no one walked off stage yet.
@@rhondaschneider3380 calling someone smart for having a memory is not very smart at all. remembering things does not make you smart. engineering and creating new things makes you smart.
