Amazing game! Both these teams were so even it could've gone either way. To Russian fans, keep your head high! You have a lot of very talented young men who have great careers ahead of them. Both teams fought hard until the end. One team had to win and one had to unfortunately lose. Whenever Canada and Russia play it's always a classic. Thank you for a great game. 2011 Russia came back from 3-0, then in 2012 Canada almost came back from 6-1, then in 2015 Russia almost came back from 5-1 and now Canada came back from 3-1.

There's a beautiful symmetry to life sometimes; Russia stormed back in the 3rd period of the 2011 WJC final to win and Canada came back this time to win. In both gold medal games both teams could have won. Russia and Canada, the two great hockey superpowers, torchbearers of the endless ice war; we will always need each other to push each other to greater heights and keep defining one another's greatness. Thank you Russia for the many epic battles!
I thought Russia was a better team today, especially in third period. They had better puck control in offensive zone and controlled the game through the middle of the period. Ironically they have lost in third period due to tactical errors, foolish penalties and some luck that was on Canada side.Overall great game, two best teams met in the final. Hopefully we can see more Russia vs Canada rivalries.

Сами из-за слабой психологической подготовки слили в унитаз всё своё преимущество, благодаря некоторым игрокам нашей команды. Не буду говорить конкретные фамилии, все и так прекрасно знают их... Две ошибки судейства были, но на что они повлияли бы, если бы наши не допустили тупых удалений? Одна - не удалили канадца за выброс шайбы, вторая - удаления нашего игрока за, якобы, игру сломанной клюшкой.
I'm from Russia. we congratulate the team of Canada. it was a great game. We hope that such finals will be annually. two hockey countries should play like that. that was great. the only thing we did not understand was why the judges did not count the penalty when the puck flew out of the field. she even hit the camera, not the glass. we should have had two minutes in the total majority. but overall, it was a great game. hope for a rematch in the next finale. Best wishes to our Canadian friends from yet another hockey country.

Although I couldn’t watch it I listened to it on the radio on the way to work and then sat stubbornly in my office listening to the game. Man the Russians were fast and for quite a while I didn’t think we could pull it off. Another epic game from Canada and Russia.

Great rivalry. One of the best games in junior history. Intense and close. Somebody had to win. Hockey is game where a single check, a single play can win a game in the final few seconds. No shame to lose by 1 goal. Full respect to the Russian players: they showed their skills, speed, finesse to be world class. WJC finals have become some of the most exciting hockey to be played. I recall this game well. The Russian goaltender is the reason the score was not 6:3 for Canada.
That was classic Canada Russia hockey. Both teams played extremely well. Love watching these great teams.

95% of all U20 ice hockey world cups is like WW3. Action, tension and ruthlessness is on such a level. You can find a couple of professional adult league games like this but not THAT frequently.

Makes me so proud to be CANADIAN! I watched this live and when Canada came back from losing 3 to 1 then in the last 10 minutes to come back and win GOLD 4-3!!! WHAT A GAME! And the level of hockey is just out of this world.!

Playing against Canada with so much penalties = signing your own death sentence. 3 goals out of 4 were with canadian PP. Strange our coaches didn't ram that rule into Voronkov's head. Canadians, on the other hand, had nerves of steel. Great game, and well-deserved victory for Canada. Respect from Russia!

Ye, I don't have any part in this game (Swedish). Yet I'am pissed of at the refs level in this tournament overall. Really ruins games by interfering all the time. You should hold a cermony for that camera, would be fun.
