I love Kate Huston. She, and her mom, are such, from the heart women. I could listen to them both anytime. I would love to see an interview with Drew Barrymore. She is similar. She's also doing wellness care. 💕
Beautiful how open Kate is. She is sharing so many basic feelings so many of us have and sharing challenges so many of us want to heal from.

I'll be honest...I like Kate Hudson, but I didn't think this was going to be very interesting, but I really enjoyed it. I'm surprised how grounded and likable and respectful of her mother and life she is. She's really articulate and fun. What a crazy life she must have had...and is still having. Go, Kate! Kate is right; we must be very proactive about being positive as often as possible...I too have been blessed w/joyful optimism and I maintain it and increase it by constantly moving forward on my dreams🧜🏽♀️🧜🏽♀️🧜🏽♀️

We remain positive by strategically limiting internalization of anything that doesn't align with our own spirit. This means forgiving, overlooking, taking the high road, directing conversations to empowerment...while simultaneously being compassionate, having a vision and never lose sight of what's important. Highest good for self and others as often as possible; being honest and true to self, transparent and kind...asking constantly "what would love do?"

Did you see Kate in the movie How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days. One of the best lighthearted movies ever. Movies these days that make any money are Marvel comic books and dark-themed tv series. Sadly no-one makes good romcoms anymore. No market for them.

Funnily enough just as I thought .. “ this is like therapy “ . Kate said , “ this is like Therepy . Ha I like Kate very much . She’s amazing . She’s obviously done a lot of soul searching . Yes understanding peoples limits to help you to forgive them , is a helpful tool . Wanting to feel at peace is a good goal . I feel the same about the ‘proud’ word … Consistency ~ a big challenge 😂👍
Just remember forgiving is for you, and has to do with the past. Trust is something that’s earned, and that you do not necessarily have to give to the person that you forgave

I can feel Kate about her relationship with her Dad and how it's tough to forgive but that's the right thing to do. I had no idea we had so much in common. The inmate gift of joy. The mindset of working backwards from death lol. The acceptance and healing of the parent that was not there and I am never going to change (though we have a great relationship) and the healing, wellness and shift of life in to maturity with God's grace. Really wonderful interview, Placing Ego aside for the kids is everything. So nice to know I am in good company. Thanks Oprah and Kate.

Love this …..Own who you are …. No shame….life is for living….authentically….we are all perfectly imperfect….we all need to empower and embrace the goddess within ….thank you ladies for your inspiration. Women give birth and raise children often taking a back seat to their partner. There are many controllers of money and power and we all have a voice and women need to be supported in this way to learn, grow and take their power back. Behind every successful man is a woman, so don’t even underestimate the value of woman who is a nurturer to her husband and children, as long as it is not controlling or abusive. Unfortunately in many cases men have a mid life crisis, run off with someone else after the mother has raised the children and did not have the chance to build her own career.
I think the better question is Are you an enough mother? This good / bad mother judgement is damaging..But ❤ these beautiful real conversations

I totally believe news programmes should have to present equal amounts of good news with the bad. I think it's so bad for people to have bad news pushed at them all the time and never hear the good things that have also happened

Love her, good interview! Have to interject however, how easy it is for a stars kid to slap their name on a product and suddenly they are considered a business person. I think the people that have no famous parents and go out there and create a product and get it out there and make good sales...those are the real business people and visonaries. Sorry but this is the reality that regular folks see. I am sure if her parents were not famous that she would still absolutely be successful in anything but this is because she has a great attitude about life.
She became a business woman after 20 years of a successful acting career. It was on her name, by that point.

She said work ethnic and luck i think.
She mentioned luck but her comment didn't seem to suggest her parents were wealthy because they worked hard and others don't. It was more of that her parents made it clear nothing is handed to you and it must be worked for hence why despite her wealth and upbringing that she remained grounded and does not behave spoiled which Oprah first pointed out Stanford out about her.
