  • Let's face facts here, these guys are absolutely amazing. With so little they turn out some excellent products. I live in a country in Africa where they have all the natural resources in the world but little will to turn it into something, instead they complain everyday, blame their government and everyone else for what they don't have. As for these guys I take my hat out for them.

  • Luckily, sulfuric acid and nickel plating are not toxic, otherwise these workers would have been really poisoned and it would be difficult for any of them to live to old age. Safety first, always!

  • These guys are amazing and it's very interesting to see them manufacture these coil over shocks all by hand but I fear the guy who works with all the chemicals to chrome plate them without any protection for his hands and face will have to pay the price somewhere down the road. They are to be admired for doing this repetitive job to make a living~!

    • Galvanization. I guess they are nickel plating. You can look up what kind of chemicals are used for this process. Fascinating how they manufacture these products with the tools they have.

    • To be more specific, those shocks aren't worth the metal they are made out of, but at least those guys manufacture something, gain some skills, and hopefully gain employment with a company that values minimal worker protective measures. Subjectively, that manufacture probably loses 3 fph ( fingers per hour ).

    • Works with the Ohm law! The rotating discs apply low voltage and very high current to the tube that have a certain resistance! So the tube will overheat until the melting point and so it weld in place! The water is to cool down the rotating copper discs!
