  • It's barely dawn here. I had much difficulty sleeping last night, and whenever I managed to catch a snooze, this soundtrack always played in my subconscious. I had to go back to Netflix to rewatch just Lagertha's funeral. I cried my eyes out, interestingly I didn't cry the first time I watched that scene but today the tears came flooding out without restraint. I just pictured in my mind that I'd have to say goodbye to my Dad too someday. The tears came pouring again as I typed “Dad”. It's very important we know and openly appreciate the value of those dear to us, no matter how many times we fallout. P.S Lagertha was a legend of astonishing proportions. Her funeral was almost as epic as Bjorn's death.

    • @@0lintana This is inaccurate. There is plenty of evidence from disparate sources corroborating that the carbon emissions humans create are accelerating global warming. The effects are manifold and hard to mitigate, but they can even result in heavy snowfall in regions further south from the jet stream, which is a phenomenon that fools people into thinking winter occurs just as it always has. The Sun has a very reliable cycle we can gauge and how it effects the Earth. The problem is, nothing about the Sun has been able to predict the climate patterns on Earth, however, gauging carbon does.

The vikings settled the East coast of USA long before 1000 ad probs about 850 - 900 ad Vikimgs were god given to sailing

    • People of the north have similar cultures because they lives in a similar parallel, it is no surprise that the same things about nature and way of life inspired similar beats and inspirations in music. I think it is far fetched to imagine that Vikings brought them their music as in the Natives here had nothing similar before the Vikings.

Maybe that was what the raft of serpents was really portraying? Also the Aztecs called their white god Kuculcan or Kukulcan & its always been in my mind that there was once an Irish warrior of mythical status called Chuhulain ( pronounced ca hoolan It sounds very similar to Kukulcan. I believe they are one & the same & i also think chuhulain was Viking or Norse as we know they were all over Ireland in the past. It could also have been a family name meaning the chuhulain of the Irish wasnt necessary the same chuhulain of the aztecs Kukulcan. Any way thats my theory ive thought the same for years. & dont get me started on the Viking/Mongolian/Native American thing.. Thanks for replying

      @itallia666@itallia6663 жыл бұрын
    • @@anthonymartin6831 It is very egocentric to assume Native people had no culture of their own and it was "brought" to them. You are making large assumptions. We do know Vikings unded up in the Northeast long before other Europeans, but it is still far fetched to assume the Bering Straits were used. There is no evidence of Scandanavian travels through the Bering Sea. The Inuit were the natives to the land both in Alaska, and all across Canada, Greenland, etc. The Vikings were influenced by their being Christianized and they refused to adapt to Inuit ways because of the priest who lived with them in Greenland. And so they died out from cold and starvation during the climate change that made Greenland too cold to live in. Pre-christian Scandanavians adapted by adopting other clutures and integrating, they didn't in Greenland and died. There no artifacts showing Vikings ever crossed Russia and used the Bering straits. You are taking broad stories across the planet even down into S. America and claiming it came from Vikings? You never questioned that assumption?
