  • This is just my opinion... But I think each son took on a part of Ragnars personality. Bjørn was Ragnars courage, his leadership and bravery, Ubbe was the family man, the adventurer, Ivar was Ragnars anger, and determination, his need to conquer and be accepted. Hvitzerk had addictions like Ragnars and his epic fighting abilities, and Sigurd had the troublesome relationship with his brothers like Ragnar did with Rollo. Such an awesome awesome show.

Blessed be all those that created the Vikings series and brought us into contact with this rich and ancient culture.

    • Good day, Sotiri. I understand the emotions the "old day" Scandinavians have on you. Maybe it's because their culture had, in part, the same mentality as ours. Greeks. But under no circumstances, I called it "ancient" as their history hasn't begun till the 8th or 9th century after christ. And I agree that christianity, and All organized religion, for that matter, is the destroyer of the True identity of peoples. Religion is the cancer of mankind. Please, listen another Einar's song. It's from "Assassin's creed" kzhead.info/sun/rLqahtSohp15YKs/bejne.html Goosebumps all across the board. Cheers from Ottawa.
