    @mmccarthy9458@mmccarthy94582 жыл бұрын
    • Definitely impressive, even though you could see that 30-06 had a ballistic tip on it, so it was probably a bullet meant to expand for greater wounding capability. Expanding rounds are significantly worse at going through armor, since they are designed to dumpo their energy quickly into their target, as opposed to conserving it. There is a good chance that a slightly lighter FMJ round in 30-06 would have gone through it.

Low and behold they actually had you in one of their videos for the testing of it lol. Straight from this video. Soo.... once I get the change built up I'll grab it. Love the idea of something the same weight as a plate carrier with waaay more capability. Keep up the Lords work and glad your neck is ok lol. • Good idea for the channel to start challenging the integrity of ballistic vests. You're the man bc that particular vest you are testing for us (i.e. ruining) holds an MSRP of around $1,800 - $2,200. Awesome company too, in the case where you are actually shot while wearing their vest, they will send you a brand new vest free-of-charge as long as a police report accompanies your claim. I know you base your channel around firearms, but I would love to see you test "stab vests" as well if you are up to trying something a little different. BTW: is your vest regular or short??

    • Was just having the exact same thoughts on all counts. 😂 Not sure about that alive part though. There cases of heart stoppages from the trauma of the impact. None the less, the vest is impressive for sure.

    • Just curious how YOU would have done without all the Welfare ahem I mean stimulus stuff? Would you have made it the last month and the possible few more to come? Honestly I am just curious... I, however, KNOW FOR A FACT that a lot of people/families would have not made it. If you can think about it for a second, imagine being a landlord and having to kick people out for not paying their rent knowing that no one else would be able to move into your unit because anyone that is working likely has a home and they aren't moving right now... There are a million ways that this could have affected everyone differently, the stimulus was a good thing for people without a lot of money. If you feel as if you don't need it, then send it back and don't bash the people that do need it. Also how could it be welfare if people have to pay it back with their taxes next year? Also, who do you think paid those taxes so that the stimulus is possible? Ill give you a hint, it is the very same people that are receiving the benefits now... Get it?

  • It stopped all those bullets, but starting with the .308, there was internal damage to the ballistics gel! There is a reason it is only rated for intermediate cartridges! The difference between stopping a full powered rifle roumd with that vest or not stopping it, is very likely to be the differrence between being bludgeoned to death or stabbed to death!
