Little suggestion: I wonder if you said "you are safe" (in addition to "you're ok") if this would help the pets that have varying degrees of struggle. It has a very direct meaning of safety to tell someone that so it might help.
Can you attach a vacuum tube to the blow dryer so you get the extra distance without the intensity?
11:31 your working hard not smarter just saying next time work smarter and not harder..😅
Can you please tell us at the beginning that the commercials are going to pay for medical care for the doggies? I went back and didn't skip any that I could, after you said. Just if you think about it obviously you've got enough to do if it's not something you can remember.
Counterconditioning in pets with noise sensitivities involves exposing the pet to the feared noise while simultaneously exposing them to a positive stimulus, such as petting or food. And if that doesn't work, the dog could use a visit to the vet. While clearly not your job, there are ways around it. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Vanessa for helping the owners pay for Zero's xrays from the ad revenue of this video, amazing!
Watch the ads so the video makes more!
I never knew her first name! It’s nice to have a name because I’ve enjoyed so many of her videos.
therefore i am letting all the ads play full through!
@@dariasmehYou only have to go halfway and she will get paid in full.
Such a beautiful dog!
0:24 Zero refusing to acknowledge Vanessa showing him his shedded fur the exact same way i do when my hairdresser try’s to show me my split ends 🤣
😑 I do not see it. 🤣🤣🤣
I think they make shampoos and stuff for that
Or showing ME my grey hairs.
I know right! I know I have split ends, it's why I'm here!
Lol 😂
Vanessa , I'm a electrician . I recommend you to have a wall outlet for the blow dryer . the machine itself in another room . so , there is no sound from the machine itself . you just plug in your flexible pipe , which is maybe a little bit longer but the benefit is : you have only the wind blowing-noise and no high-frequency-machine-sound❤
Wish someone would volunteer their services for that
Ooh, fancy! What a good idea; hopefully makes the 'to do' list
Hi! Would that be a bit like a central vacuum system, except it would blow?
@@ThePolypam exactly
@@yogikarl Great idea!
Go Zero Go! Just because you know about Nightmare Before Christmas, doesn't make you old. It just proves you have GREAT TASTE!!!!
Agreed!😊
I'm sure I'm older than she is and I had no idea what that was referring to. I've heard of the movie but never seen it.
@ChaoticYak1 I'm alot older than Vanessa and I only found the movie 5 years ago. A must watch imo.
Yes! It's my favorite movie.
I had an albino guinea-pig I named Zero round about 1976. I've never seen the film...not interested in encouraging nightmares. I just love watching how 'difficult' dogs relax as Vanessa progresses the groom and they increasingly feel more comfortable.💞🐾🐾
I hope the vets find out what is bothering Zero. Thank you Vanessa for helping fund his X-ray. ❤️
Update requested if owner shares, please
"Zero, you're a mess! Look at all this fluff!" Zero: "I am a bad, bad boy."
here we have the ferocious viscous guardfloof. Keeping his family safe from intruders, dangerous critters and........... high velocity driers 😸 I luv him 🥰🥰🥰
...Because... IS SO CUTE. 😊
Vicious. Viscous means sticky. A weird autocorrect mixup, no doubt. Funny, though.
Lollzzz!! Can relate to noise adversion
🤣🤣🤣
@@lynnehrhart5789 oh no lol now i dont want to correct it
Pyrenees and Akbash have the face of a golden retriever. Cute!
As a Mon of a Golden retriever, I wholeheartedly agree!!💜
As a previous owner of a pyranean, I agree too. Zero is gorgeous isn't he? He looks like a small version of a pyranean. ❤
These breeds look like they're cousins of each other! but they are still such good bois!
Zero is a mix of Maremma and akbash not Great Pyrenees. They are typically smaller than Great Pyrenees.
Poor little marshmallow, must feel so much better to be clean!
He looks beautiful after his grooming, love how you talk to the dogs while grooming.
So do I.
She's so funny, sometime even though she may be grooming a deaf dog, she still will talk to them then remember they are deaf lol
I'm normally a silent watcher, but I"'m pretty sure leaving a comment helps with ad revenue, so here I am. Good luck Zero!

As soon as you said his name is Zero, I immediately thought of "Nightmare Before Christmas." Zero the ghost dog.
I've never seen the "Nightmare Before Christmas" movie. Thought of the Zero candy bar.
@@mario_lemooseYou definitely should. It's hands down the best Halloween or Christmas movie. Very pleasant and comforting.
@@mario_lemoose It is a candy bar too 👍
Same 😊 love Tim Burton ❤️
It’s amazing how white he turned out. I like watching the purple shampoo outcome.
Zero is a handsome pup. I hope the owners get answers for what is causing Zero's medical issue. He's such a sweet, fluffy boy.
My old cat Casper lost a lot of weight and we thought he had arthritis because he was having a bit of trouble with his back legs. Turns out he was diabetic. His condition was late onset, so I hope very much that Zero's tests on that head come back negative. In the meantime, thanks for the video, Vanessa. He is such a gorgeous floof.
I commend your courage in grooming large protection dogs that aren’t big fans of being groomed.
Pretty sure she's only afraid of cats 😂 But she even handles the spiciest mayo with grace. Mayonnaises videos and there's one where she referred to a little dog as a "snapping turtle". I highly recommend them.
What a sweet fluffer ❤🐾 Thank you for helping this family and Zero! I hope they find what's bothering him and it's something he can get treatment for.
If knowing about Nightmare before Christmas means you're old, then my thinking that he was named after Zero Mastel must make me ancient!!
A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Groomer!
That movie where he puts on Broadway musical "Spring time for Hitler"! Zero with Gene Wilder in one of the funniest movies ever!
@@dopaminey9946 The Producers? It's a fantastic film
Now I need to Google someone. Thanks guys 😂😅
It's hard to not like the video when you're going to use the ad revenue to help the owner with Zero's medical costs
Kudos to the owners. They really know exactly what he is and isn’t good with, and to not be in denial about his triggers.
Vanessa: “the only problem with not putting the nozzle on the dryer is now my hand is right in line for him to bite” Zero: “allow me to demonstrate”
Hi Vanessa , thank you for for grooming Zero, & for paying a part of his X-ray costs in anyway you can, Zero is a beautiful dog, and I hope vets can determine what is causing his health issues. Love Katherine xoxo
Vanessa, it's so kind of you to help the owners with veterinary care like that. It would mean so much to the owners who obviously love the dog but can't afford it financially plus Zero getting treatment and relief finally from whatever he is suffering. You have a golden heart. Lots of love and adoration from India.
I’m 58 and have never seen “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” But I’m not a Tim Burton fan. You’re NOT old. I am. 😊
@QueenOfTheNorth65 -- Thanks for your reply -- exactly what I was thinking and could have written, even down to your fabulous user name since I'm from Minnesota and the same age. You might be even farther north than that. Anyway, agreed on all of your comment! 😂
you should give it a watch it's really cute
I am a Tim Burton fan and I haven’t seen it-I think I may even own it. I think I tried to watch it and discovered it’s a musical and I can’t handle musicals.
You should really watch it anyway, it's SUCH a good movie🖤
Sweetie, age is all relative. You feel old at 58? I can't believe I'm 71 😮!!!
lol, I honestly didn't even think of Zero from The Nightmare Before Christmas! When I first heard his name, I thought of Zero from Holes, and the Guidance Counselor's reason for calling him that is "there's nothing going on in his little head" and I thought well THIS dog doesn't seem like that, so the ghost dog is appropriate instead. 😂❤
I haven't seen The Nightmare Before Christmas (the only Tim Burton movie I liked was Edward Scissorhands), but I did see Holes, which was a good movie ---- offbeat, but good. Sigourney Weaver, Patricia Arquette, Tim Blake Nelson, Henry Winkler, Shia LaBeouf, Dule' Hill and others.....
Zero looked amazing at the end of his groom.
Thank you for all that you do. This is why I no longer have a dog. It has become cost prohibitive and you are such a blessing to these dogs that need help.
See Vanessa! THIS is why we love you! Sending healing love to Zero💟
You are so kind to help Zero get the diagnostic stays he needs. Zero seems like a sweet soul.
Thank you Vanessa❤. He is beuatiful. Akbash is Turkish Kangal's cousin breed amd Maremma is Italian. I am both Turkish and Italian. Hugs from Rome❤
Love your patience and kindness when dealing with uncooperative guests. What a beautiful transformation!
Gets a beautiful grooming, all nice and clean, goes outside and pees on his foot. Gotta love dogs XD
I am so happy to hear you are aiding them in finding out what is up with their sweet boy.
Zero is an incredibly beautiful dog. You are so generous, helping the owners pay for Zeros care. I hope they get everything resolved and he’s feeling much better soon.
He’s so beautiful ❤. I hope the owners can resolve Zeros health issues.
He's definitely trying not to put pressure on his back left leg. Hope they find what's wrong with him. His fur looks incredible.
I noticed that it was sliding a little during the blow dry.
Zero is a gorgeous dog bathed and groomed. His owners must have been thrilled to see him! Thank you Vanessa for using proceeds from this video to get Zero the diagnostic testing he requires to identify his health problems and, hopefully, treat him until he is well again and pain free. You’re an angel!! God bless you. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Always enjoy when you have conversations with the dogs. He's beautiful, hope he feels better soon.
I picked up the EquiGroomer I ordered from the Post Office. Upon returning home I let my Lab mix out of the car to run. Like usual, she found some fresh elk poop to roll in. Since she is 70 lbs. & I'm 76 yrs. old, I passed on a full bath. Instead, I relied on wet towels & washing her nylon collar under the faucet. After drying, I went over the area with the EquiGroomer to remove any left over poop dried fur. It made the task much easier. Weather is warming, the snow is gone around my house, & the elk should be heading up to the high country.
He's a gorgeous boy and you're a blessing to all your clients and their families, Vanessa.
Videos like this should have a shake counter lol😂❤
I’m glad the ad revenue from this video will be used to benefit the beautiful boys X-rays. 💚💚
The way he put his arse into the corner speaks volumes about his health issue. What a nice and pretty puppy. When I watch the face rinse it makes me laugh because our pooch loves attacking the water from the nozzle.
Zero is a hero, what a fluffer, he is beautiful.
Vanessa, you are a very polite groomer. People are blessed to have you work on their dogs. Zero was pretty good for all the work you did on him. Thank you for all the love you show animals in your shop and in rescues. God bless you.
You’re one of the kindest people out there, Vanessa.
Vanessa, thank you for helping Zero's owner with the xrays! You are truly kind! Zero turned out beautiful for his groom as well! ❤
I hope we get a follow-up if they're able to find out what's wrong. And senior dogs are great pets for older folks. They are calmer and don't have the exhausting puppy energy. A warm place to sleep, good food, and some nice walks for exercise is all they need.
This is also one of my favorite guardian dogs (Pyrees being my #1) the Akbash is just beautiful
Sugar bear! So gentle with him, so kind!
First, who soaked who down 1st? 😂 2nd, you are like an investigator for people for their dogs. Thank you Vanessa for helping these owners out with their furbaby, Zero! I'm sure he appreciate it more than you know, too! ❤
It was my honor to donate 🐾
On behalf of the broke folks thank you!
Such a beautiful floofy Zero. The transformation was amazing.
What a beautiful boy. He seemed to tolerate the drier on and off, like he calmed down once he'd made his feelings known. And his front came up sparkling white. I hope his problem is not too serious xx ♥️
I love the way you talk to your clients, I think it relaxes them a lot. My groomer does the same for my Long Coated Akita, she loves playing games with him and giving him breaks.
Vanessa, you always adapt to dogs that have special requirements- even if it is so much more difficult for you. I truly admire you. 🐾

For all the “do not do” things he’s very well behaved. Looks beautiful. Thank you for helping with his care. Vet tests and care are extreme.❤
Vanessa: "I'm gonna try to soak him down first." Zero says "Nope..."
If I get soaked then you're coming with me
Also Zero: Turn about's fair play, elf lady.
What a beautiful fluffy boy! Thank you so much Vanessa for helping the owners with the ever-mounting costs of his vet care. I hope the vets are able to diagnose the problems quickly.
Such a sweet boy. Hope that his owners and the vet can find the right treatment for him.❤
What an amazing act of kindness to support this beautiful doggie's vet bills ❤😊
Thank you Vanessa for helping the owners of this sweet boy figure out what is going on with him!
Good luck to Zero's owners and vet team to find out what's going wrong. Wishing him all the best! He looks, and must feel, fantastic after his groom.
I never heard of either of those breeds. He looks like a Great Pyrenees. Whichever he is looking gorgeous in spite of the difficulties.
She did another one of this breed 9 months ago named Cowboy where she discusses the breeds more, one of my favorites! 😊
There are several breeds of herding dog in Europe. Large, white, long-haired dogs. The best-known is the Pyrenean Mountain Dog, in France. The Italian cousin is the Maremma and Abruzzo Sheepdog. The Hungarian cousin is the Kuvasz, and the Polish cousin is the Berger de Podhale (also known as the Tatra Shepherd). It's not easy to tell them apart for the untrained eye.
@@SusieWebster-wo5vo thank you. I’ll look for it. I was about to try Google
And there are even more confidential breeds in Eastern Europe and Asia Minor. The Akbash is of Turkish origin, as is the Kangal. All these dogs have been used for centuries to protect flocks from predators, mainly wolves and bears.
He's beautiful❤ I hope they can figure out what is going on with him❤
Gorgeous boy! And so sweet! And you are sweet for helping his owners with his veterinary cost! It is 100% heartbreaking to not be able to afford to find out what is wrong with your beloved pet. Thank you for what you do ❤
He has the sweetest face❤❤❤❤ Please keep us updated on Zero’s health. He is very easy to fall in love with
Oh Zero is an awesome name from one of my favorite movies! His family has class and good taste. 😊
you are a Disney princess- singing and the animals... 🥰
OMG - what a wonderful ending to this grooming video. You are to be commended for helping pay for Zero's diagnostics. I'm sure the owners were over the moon. Here's hoping Zero will be okay.
It is true if dogs don’t feel well it can change their behaviour. My foster dog would go after my dogs if she was in pain or her chronic utis had a flare up. My foster was a Pyrenees mix.
He looked so beautiful and fluffy clean afterwards. Its wonderful that you can contribute the ad revenues from this video to help with the vet care. Diagnostics are SO important. I hope what ever the problem is, that it can be resolved and he will be able to be comfortable.
That's so good of you Vanessa.I hope Zero has a good outcome and his owners have many more years with him.
He's a handsome boy. Hopefully, his people figure out what's going on with him. Wishing him happy tails.
Vanesa, you are an amazing person. Thank you for helping Zero and his owners. Zero is handsome.
i've seen maremma dog only one time in my life, but def remember that moment forever ~ such a pretty dog
Poor guy. I hope he feels Ok. He must feel a little better being clean. I hope he gets well soon.
He turned out just stunning! You could see in his eyes that was feeling exhausted. Thank you so much for helping his parents. You are a godsend.
Thanks for making Zero look so beautiful and for helping with his X-rays! You really do amazing work with difficult animals! Well done
Oh my gosh, he’s stunning, what a beautiful boy
I hope this raises all the funds needed for this sweet boy's x-rays.
For the most part Zero is being a pretty good boy. I hope the owners keep up with his grooming. Great Job as always 🎉🎉❤❤😅
Get well pupper. 😊
Zero was calm for brushing and nails but boy was he upset with water and drying ❤😂
Always happy to watch your ads - even more for Zero. Here's to Zero's returning to a healthy happy boy ! 💜💜💜💜
In the olden times there were some clippers with a long flexible Mechanical pipe for mechanical power so you could separate at motor sound from the clipper sound
Vanessa can you please keep us updated as to what is going on with zero? He's such a handsome boy and you were so kind with him.
I'm a silent watcher but wanted to leave a comment to help out. Thanks for helping Zeros owner with vet costs. It's hard out there. It does my soul good to see people helping one another with genuine care. Keep doing what you do.❤
Love the instant read on how the dog is doing. He looks like he feels safe throughout.
Soneone needs to invent quiet dryers and clippers for groomers. 😂
It’s like a hair tornado when he’s being dried in the shower.
Great JOB! A real sweetie & I'm grateful that you are able to help the owners cover some of his diagnostic costs! Hoping its nothing serious.🥰
I love the farm dogs! Thank you for featuring another one. Zero must have the best owners. They're attentive enough to pick up on his loss of weight under all that floof and they give him a very good life for a dog: not being cooped up in a house and then taken out for jogs he might not be evolved to handle. He is in good shape, too. Not tidy and manicured like a lapdog, but clearly cared for. Good on them. Happy dog, angel owners!❤❤❤
