This rivalry with Buffalo kind of reminds me of how the baseball Yankees used to always crush the Royals' postseason dreams until Kansas City finally beat them in 1980 to get to the World Series. • Nah tbh no I dont see it that way, if you mean in the sense of corruption, like I said Im new to this game and dont pretend to know something I dont. I played cricket for over 20 years and had an innate feel for it, and t that is a sport riddled with corrupt scripting at the international level, mostly underwritten by huge gambling money out of India. Only thing that has seemed odd to me was yesterday when the Packers defender just tried to bump McCaffrey, I couldnt understand why he didnt tackle like we do in Rugby League wrapping up his legs. I actually googled to see if that sort of tackling is allowed. I do think that like any profit based sport, ofc there is subtle influence that favours outcomes that generate more $'s, simple stuff like what games get promoted to TV and all that.

      @ptitude@ptitude3 ай бұрын
    • NFL is not scripted despite what incels say on the internet. These dudes work hard everyday of the year to stay peak physical form. The reason that dude couldn’t tackle Mccaffrey is cause he’s running full steam ahead at 210 Pounds with pads on is not easy for a Cornerback or Safety to tackle. Sure try to wrap him up it won’t do much. There’s certain situations in football that you’ll never see in cricket, rugby, etc. football is literally a game of inches and leverage especially with pads on changes everything
