Love this page. I also love to read, for me there is something magical about curling up with a physical volume.
Definitely real books as I love listening to podcasts. Love the way the tag is clipped in, I need to try this.
Love this ❤. I’m a physical reader, read 56 books last year .
I loved the hand stitch on your library card tag. Great idea.
I'm terrified of my sewing machine too! I'm always afraid I'll do something to break it. Lol! Learning to use it is one of my goals for this year though. I've had the darn thing for years. Love this tag.
Having so much fun in my jjj! Thanks for all the lovely videos
Great idea! Love this tag and book cover idea
❤❤️❤️ As an avid reader, I loved this!
I read a lot, and enjoy both e-books and audio books. I usually have one of each going, ... audio books for when I'm walking or running or working, and e-books for reading at bedtime. My favorite recent reads that I highly recommend are The Frozen River by Ariel Lawhorn and The River We Remember by William Kent Kruger.
Being an avid reader, this is one of my favorite prompts!! I've wanted to say too, that I live when you show us how you may have interpreted prompts in other ways in your past journals. It's fun to get more than one idea!! Thanks for library card download link, too
Cool! Hugs, treen 💕💕💕💕
Love the tag! 🏷️ 💕
Nice library tag 😊
I'm glad to see your video.I like reading books, but electronic books do not preferably. The library card theme is too impressive!❤
This one had me stumped. What a great idea to use a library card! I’m still thinking on this one. Love how your tag turned out!
Being a book lover, I am thrilled with this prompt! Love your page. Enjoying Junk Journal January. Following along with you has been a blast. Keep meaning to thank you for keeping your videos short. 🙏🥰
I love holding an actual book in my hands, but I do use my Kindle also for reading. I love to sew by hand rather than using a sewing machine. Stitching by hand gives your card, tag, page, etc. a certain texture that is unique.❤️❤️❤️
I’m a physical book reader as I’ve tried to listen to an audio book but I always fall asleep! Love the hand stitching. It looks really cute
Lovely ❤
Love this. I am also an avid reader and this is a great prompt. I have printed out the covers of the books I've read for years now to put in my journals. Then I try to give them a little star review as well. I try to read at least 20 real, paper books a year. I fell short by one in 2023. My favorite I read last year was called Winter Garden by Hannah Kristen. Such a rich story about a family and their mother's past in Russia during the war. I put it down totally satisfied at the end. I just finished reading The Only Woman in the Room by Marie Benedict which is a historical fiction account of the real life of movie actress Heddy Lamar. The story was intriguing but I was disappointed the biography didn't take us through the end of her life - even in an Epilog. There were people in the book we wanted to know more about. I say "we" because I have a book group I meet with once a month and this is the book we just discussed today.
I really struggle with audiobooks, but what I prefer to use on flights because it's so hard to not strain your neck reading on a long flight My sewing machine also scared me and would always bunch up! I did a simple project with a friend who is good with sewing machines and I am 50x better! If that isn't an option, highly highly recommend doing one class at a local college. In Australia they generally have a 6hr class on a Saturday
Love this tag!!! I am a physical books reader! Never got into the audio thing... My goal for this year is to read 35 books (I usually read around that every year) and two that I am really excited to read are "The girl who drank the moon" and "How I became a tree"!
Very nice!
Ozzy Osbourne - I Am Ozzy is many times read and currently reading it in english as audiobook, great one :D recommend both, bookbook and audio one :)
this tag idea is so cute!! 🥰🥰
This is such a lovely idea - I used to be an avid reader - physical, e-reader, audiobooks - all appreciated! I'm not reading much at the moment, but am hoping to change that this year 🌞
I will read in any format I can get, though I prefer physical print books. I just finished listening to the audiobook version of The Salt Path by Raynor Winn. I already know it will be in my top 5 books of 2024. A gorgeous memoir about a couple who lost their home and business, as well as a terminal diagnosis for one of them, and so they decided to walk the coastal path of Cornwall. I am eyeball reading a digital advance reading copy of I Am Rome by Santiago Posteguillo. I'm loving that one so far as well. Terrific historical fiction about a lesser-known event in the life of Julius Caesar as a young man.
I love this tag. I am an avid reader and prefer audiobooks. I listen to them while I’m crafting or doing house chores. I especially like Robin Cook.
I’m a physical book reader right now, but I have read online books in the past and enjoyed them also I haven’t tried any audiobooks but I do listen to podcast which I think are kind of like that in a way the current book I’m reading is the brides and beaches series 5 books in one it’s by multiple authors Catherine Hake is one of the authors and I’m about halfway through. I really enjoy watching your videos. I’ve been working along with you and checking out the others so much inspiration and great ideas. Thanks again, Meg❤
I don't read much.... but I have just started reading "Atomic Habits" and I prefer the physical copy, my husband is reading it digitally. .... audio books are great when on a long road trip. love your tag-page. 😊👍🏼 I'm afraid of my sewing machine. I haven't used it yet. it's still in it's box.
Lovely tag and I love the topic too. I definitely prefer physical books. I've tried audio books but it wasn't the same and ebooks mess with my eyes. I enjoy actually picking up the book, flipping pages and the smell of paper and ink 😂 I'm currently reading the third book (of 5) in a series by Jackie French set before, during and after the world wars. The first book is titled Miss Lily's Lovely Ladies which intrigued me.
💜💜💜

I’m really enjoying Junk Journal January. I’m fairly new to JJ and have learned so much. Could you tell me the names of the pens you were using again for lettering as well as the white pen please. Thank you for all the inspiration. ❤️
Tombow Fudenosuke and white Uniball Signo :)
Love this so much! I prefer reading physical books. Currently reading Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin. My reading goal for this year is 30 books 😄
I really want to read that book!
Your book cover printouts are always so crisp looking. Are you just grabbing cover shots from the Internet and using a regular desktop printer?
Yes! Just the cover from goodreads and a bog standard Canon printer with printer paper :)
Great page, where do you print out the real book covers?
Image from goodreads and just a standard printer :)
