In March 2022, filming took place for Strike: Troubled Blood in Hollywell Bay, St Mawes, Falmouth and Port Navas in Cornwall.

Can't wait to see this, excellent book. The theme should be released as a full version. Tom Burke is very good as Mr Strike.

Goodie, something to look forward to! I keep rewatching the previous episodes because of the great chemistry and acting, plus a decent female part, for once! Doesn't hurt that Tom Burke is so wonderful...

Watched the first episode of the new Strike series last night, and Mama mia, what a squeaky-bum-time plot to begin with. And, so uberdelighted to see the outstanding/handsome Cormorant Strike, and gorgeous/exceptional Robin. Trust me, I have binge-watched every episodes of the previous series 10x in the past 14-15mths. The more series the merrier. 👍❤🙏

Love all the Strike books and series ..and the latest on is amazing on I player ! and it's wonderful to have great actors like Tom and the cast plus a female lead like Holliday ie Robin that is believable and relatable

Absolutely gutted that Troubled Blood is not being released on DVD as it's the ONLY way I get to see this series! Have the previous four DVDs and it's desperate that I can't continue watching!
Oh me too! I Adore it I’ve watched all the episodes of all series twice and I’m gonna watch it again Wow the acting is just amazing the story lines are different than any other detective series I’ve ever watched I just want series 6 now!

I thought this wouldn't be that good but from the second it started I was hooked. I think these two are amazing acting together. I have just watched the last two episodes. I do hope there will be another full season. I want to find out more about Strike xxxxx
Lovely to see Falmouth, St Mawes and Port Navas bigged up on national telly! Did I spy Western Terr around 3:59? The street scene immediately after that was shot in Tredynas Rd. [I greatly enjoyed watching Troubled Blood by the way]

This was very good, but if you haven’t read the Strike books - you must. Definitely start with book one. On audio books it’s read by Robert Glenister, perfect
And he stars in S3 as a baddie! Lol

The actors/cast are a few, but the crew is a tiny village. Its amazing to see the behinds the scenes of TV/films

In the first part the crew is dressed like it's winter; in the last part, it looks like late spring or summer, with short sleeves. Does the weather in march in Cornwall change that much? 😮 I'm asking from Italy 😀
The weather was very changeable. Some lovely warm sunny days and other days it didn’t stop raining
Prepare for the worst weather and hopefully you will be pleasantly surprized!!
Brits tolerate the cold really well, the moment a bit of Sun comes out ( 5 days annually 😉 ) they start to undress.

La serie está genial pero en HBO la cortaron en la serie 2 , además la hermosa canción introductoria que no me canso de escuchar y buscar mas material de esta cantante .. Beth Rowley y no hay o no he encontrado , alguien sabe si tiene albums ?
When they moved the crew to London, they shot the scenes for The Archer Hotel near me, at this place called the mildmay club

@@StrikeFans i don't unfortunately. Because at the time, I didn't know that's what they were filming, until.i got the book about 4 months afterwards, and I read about the Archer Hotel, and the filming signs around the Midlmay Club where they were filming said STB (Strike Troubled Blood) and that's how I found out
@@StrikeFans there was this new, but old style hanging sign, a rectangular 3d sign, on the top half, it was white, and the bottom half blue. In the white half, it had the words "Clarke and Taylors" and then just underneath ""Archer Hotel". The windows were boarded up, and it looked like they had some kind of event posters/music posters on them. I didn't catch any actors, because I presume they were shooting interior scenes, but I can remember just how much equipment lined the walls outside, but I didn't see any actors. The yellow location arrows like the ones you've seen around Skegness and Cornwall, some of which sold STB Unit Base, where the exact same colour as the ones I saw around the club at the time. I would flip of I found out the Holloday Grainger and Tom Burke were filming so nearby to me, and I wouldn't have any idea about it, but I'll guess that I'll have to see if I can spot the hotel out in the new series

@@StrikeFans that's the one. It's been a while since they filmed there, but I remember they were there for quite a number of days. But it's really exciting, and even more reason for me to watch the new series knowing for certain that my local area is featured in it

Didn’t enjoy this series. Too many red herrings, very confusing, kept asking ourselves, “who’s that?”. Sorry, we eagerly looked forward to this latest series, but very disappointed.
It's ok, more adaptations will be made so you will get more chances to be disappointed in the future.

if you thought the films were confusing, try the book. I had to read it a couple of times because of so much detail, but in truth the books are better than the films
