I’ve never seen or heard of this show but, I watched this whole video! It was the cutest thing ever! BUT, the whole time I was screaming how are they not together already!! Like, the moments are crazy undeniable. I binged the whole series in like 3 days, and I’m obsessed😭 I understand the slow burn but, I can’t imagine being a fan from the beginning and still waiting for like 6 years for it!! I can’t wait for the next season, thanks for giving me a new show obsession 💗💗

I think RG/JKR has her audience figured out pretty well. Reading the novels will give you an idea as to why they're not together. There is a lot of information concerning this. The audiobooks, read by Robert Glenister, are outstanding. I am obsessed with Strike and Robin's relationship. The end of book 7 (The Running Grave) knocked the wind out of me.
Join the club. I've had to start reading fanfic just to get my fix. I've also started rereading books because its just not enough.
I remember Moonlighting with Bruce W just when the two detectives got together it went down hill ,!
I adore the books, the tv show and the casting. Just wish we didnt have to wait so long between the two.
Huge fan of the books, and while the scenes adapted here don't hold a candle to the original ones, the actors' onscreen chemistry is still so sweet! Also I'm in the middle of reading book 7, and now that Strike has lost weight I think I can finally picture him as this version.😂
The end of book 7 knocked the wind right out of me.
I'm in the start of reading book 3 ☺ I imagined Strike so much different also. 😅 Bigger and with curlier more chaotic hair 😂 won't even start to watch 1 season till the end of that book. 🙃 It will be as a desert for great books
At the end when he said 'you're my best friend', I started crying..it was so emotional.

@@kellyjeter7524 speaking from experience, it’s not always that easy 😅 especially when you already have close relationships with that person (be it friendship or partnership) before you both realize that you actually romantically attracted with each other. Trying to date your friend is almost like gambling. You put your previous relationship with that person on betting table. If it works, you won the best romance in your life. But if you failed you lose great person in your life and a friendship.
When are they gonna get together. The best detective couple ever, great plots great chemistry and real crushability!!! ❤

I did notice that we (in the USA from Prime) got a bit chopped out (at "the hug" in Lethal White, the clip past about 13:53 in your video is missing from the Prime version). Amputees do not always limp. They had an advisor on set to help Tom with walking, climbing stairs etc and limping is not always a feature with amputees.
I'm thinking he is below the knee amputee from one of the shots. It is easier to walk without a limp I believe. My husband is above the knee amputee and does walk with a bit of a limp.
He does limp off and on in the show....depending on how much of a bender he had night before ha

This may indeed come to pass. However, I think that RG/JKR knows her audience. I take heart in Ryan Murphy's Matthew-esque jealousy, as well as the the epigram she used for the last chapter (136) of The Running Grave (book #7). Waiting for The Hallmarked Man (book #8) with baited breath.
@@dkd1228 Don't think it will come to pass. Murphy got too many similarities with Matthew and is mostly passive aggressive in his responses. Robin is already questing her relationship with him. And he has got a questionable past. And again, she doesn't love him. Last time, she had doubts about her relationship and it didn't end well, did it? Do you honestly think she will make the same mistake again? After all, she made the mistake twice with Matthew. And now that Strike has let canon loose, drama shall begin. How Murphy handles it, that's something looking forward to. Cuz Robin gonna put her foot down this time.
