The most famous mission in modern history, a bad ass K9 that accompanied the SEAL team that conducted it, and the operator/handler that took K9 Cairo on that mission. That, ladies and gentlemen, is the latest Mike Drop episode. I had the honor of sitting down with @willcheeese, author of @noordinarydogbook, to talk about all things Operation Neptune Spear to take down the worlds most wanted man - Osama Bin Laden.

    • To: Lib-tards, Q-tards, MAGA-tards & normies - There has not been the Constitution (for you) since 1861. You are being controlled by Israel's policies. What happened to no titles of nobility (BAR = British Accreditation Registry) ? The US (since the Civil War's beginning) is only a CORPORATION (legal fiction = not a Republic) that [further] created a CORPORATION using your name@birth, then monetized th@ [birth] certificate (berth manifest@Maritime/Admiralty Law system). They owe you the interest on using your name in vanity (commerce). Only 33% (moral minority) vote/ are complicit in what the [so-called] 1% elite do afterwards/ enable the elite and/or blackmailed to commit crimes against humanity. Therefore, until The Republic is restored, voters are a danger to the world.

Plus like he said with some TBI and probably some PTS he didn't look very comfortable talking about a lot of the things he spoke on. I feel for him so much. You can see the pain in his eyes. Will's eyes lite up when you talk about any of the working dogs. I cannot thank all our armed service men, Seals and working dogs for what you have done or do now. • I hope he gets the peace of mind that he needs, too. I liked the interview but I've said this before,I don't think that everyone who served needs to be doing interviews. It is possible to write a book and just let the work speak for itself. There are lots of famous people and public figures who rarely or never give interviews. It doesn't have to be any different for SOME service members. There's a great quote from the painter Drew Struzan(who doesn't do a lot of interviews) that he paints so he doesn't have to talk. I've seen some interviews that Mike and others have done with some veterans and I just think(and I could be alone in this)that some of the guests(who may not be that comfortable in front of a camera and talking in long-form interviews and going back over details of their lives and careers) probably don't need to be doing interviews.

I don't think that everyone has the right personality to be doing interviews on a public forum.Would you agree that it helps to be able to communicate well and to have social skills and a more open personality if you're going to be doing interviews on podcasts/television and other mediums and promoting a product of any kind(in this case,a book)? I can only surmise is the fact you come across as genuine, you literally care about your guests, you care about the issues, you care about your teams, you care about your girls, your dogs, and your brothers and that authenticity comes across the table, across the Mic, and hits me right in the feels. As for your guest, I could hear his pain. As brave, as strong, as healthy as he is right now, his pain is still right beneath the surface. The unfortunate issue is that other markets are being decimated. If you want to stay green, you have to rely on a lot of diversification. Currently up 14% and being careful. Still a better deal than leaving it in a savings or checking account yielding 0-1 percent interest.

  • Will - as a fellow warfighter - thanks for putting your entire being into the GWOT. I didnt work at your level at all - but rather served a small part as a regular ole 11b joe. I came back with a pretty crushed mind. But like you said - im trying different things, especially in the right context. And improving. We all hurt brother. And the entire family of veterans is always open to hearing your stories, sharing ours with you , and trying to heal together. Be well, bro. And hey - you mentioned you "hope" you are helping - nah man, you ARE helping. cheers.

    • Many years ago, I met a WW2 Navy vet who served in the South Pacific and had two ships sunk from under him. One of those ships was the USS Helena (CL-50). It sank during the Battle of Kula Gulf. He played a radio drama re-enactment of the battle and cried while listening to it. At one point, he was floating in the water at night, burned from an explosion on his ship and covered with oil. The USS Redford, a destroyer was searching for survivors. A voice called out to him and he responded. The next thing he knew, A Navy sailor reached out and they gripped each other by the wrist, not letting go. After the war, the two of them met and posed for a statue that is on display at the USS Radford museum of their hands gripping each other by the wrist. Far too many civilians have no sense of our vets. I never served in the military, but I go to a national cemetery every Memorial Day to pay my respects and say thank you. 🇺🇸

  • Great podcast Mike and a big thank you for the service of Will Chesney...as a Civilian, IMO, it's absolutely essential for people like Will Chesney to the degree they can, tell their stories, we as a country we need heroes that regardless of age can look up to as an example of the greatness of this country...with a reasonable number of people in this country trying to tear it down, people like Will Chesney go a long way to not allowing that to happen...

Insane careers and deployments aside- the balls to consent to and participate in these interviews and lay it all out is an incredible gift to us. • Respect for this interview. It's always very nice to hear more about UBL raid and the K9 role and the handler in the Seal teams and off course in other SOF units. I never herd a dumb question or stupid opinions from Mike. Respect for the guest also very intelligent and always on point maybe lil bit shy, but that doesn't metter. I don't know about other guys will be interested, but If you can invite operators like James Hatch also a dog handler from DEVGRU, Medal of Honor recepients Edward Byers and Britt Slabinski or Delta Rob Keller. Maybe they will share some interesting war stories. I know its tough right now with current situation. Its only a suggestion for the future.
