Alfie’s just one of those characters where, when they enter the room you don’t know if you’ll be leaving with a deal, a broken bone, both or neither, and it’s great. Truly an unpredictable madman.
Him and Sabini
Should be more concerned with whether or not you'll be leaving at all.
That’s the kind of man you just dont speak in front of. Just listen and nod. Any questions you ask someone else later.
Tom hardy is truly an unpredictable madman let alone alfie 😂😂 bronson , legend , warrior , fookin nut job an we love him for it
Probably in a body bag
Acting in these series is unreal. I totally love Alfie Solomons, Tom Hardy totally nailed it!
What about Cillian Murphy
@@Bobby69694 Cillian always blows me out of the water. He never quite plays the same character and just commits 100%
@@MousesHouses so u sayin he’s good or bad?
@@MousesHouses personally I like him as a actor
@@Bobby69694 He's really good!
The first rule of baker’s club is don’t joke about baker’s club.
but he will always remember the joke while he mourns the loss of his teeth LOL!!!
@@amarieoflothlorien He sent his mate the dentist's bill.
the second rule of baker's club is don't joke about baker's club
2nd rule of bakers club is dont talk about bakers club
Hehehhehehe
I love how Shelby treats the rum runners like a military unit. Reflection of his past experiences.
I think every man in that room served in the trenches, so its a form of organisation and discipline that they all know
@Liam Collins yess and they see Tommy as there general
they were all in the trenches, drafted
@Warszawski_Modernizm In those days it was mostly volunteers
All-volunteer. It is pretty clear that Small Heath Rifles were a pals battalion.
“And the last thing he’ll remember is your funny little joke…” I wish I could watch this series for the first time again
I love how when Billy Kitchen returns Alfie's gaze, then looks away, Alfie keeps gazing at him for an unnecessarily long time as if to state that he can do whatever he wants in his house. His power in that domain is unquestioned.
And by staring back, Billy lets him know that he's not scared of him, but then hums in agreement to show that, out of respect, he won't give Alfie any problems.
@@TheProtagonist37 It was Alfie that hummed at Billy.
@@steparko23 Indeed, but BIlly was making it known that he's not afraid of anyone.
@steparko - totally. Brilliant moment
3:24 "forgive me I interrupted you" 😂😂😂
Alfie always steals the show ,such a powerful actor
Tom Hardy is such a brilliant actor,Alphie is one of the most unhinged unpredictable, just plain horrific person..
True, when Alfie’s on screen, you forget Tommy is the main character.
Hardy is the most unique among British actors. He is neither better nor worse. He's just different. Another level of acting. He is not playing a character. He creates it. Hardy just fills the screen and you can't take your eyes off him. I love it ❤
He plays similair roles with twists, its quite similair to taboo but with more of an air of authority.
He is alleged to be territorial as a male canine on set, sort of demanding deference by claiming of space.
Every single scene with Alfie is a goddamn masterpiece
I don't use your mother as an expletive, so please don't my God as one.
@@nothingleft3473 People are raping murdering and slaughtering in the name of God and you have a problem with me cursing? gtfo
Also with John.
Beyond brilliant. Like an entire movie in one scene. Alfie vibrates with an energy that doesn't give an inch for crossing him.
Jeff Nicholson acudió a Tom para negociar la película Bikeriders. Jeff dijo en una entrevista que el cuerpo de Tom vibra con energía. Hay una vibración loca proveniente de su piel 🔥✌️
What I love about Alfie is that he's Unpredictable
A bit like Ronnie Kray, and to a certain extent, Reggie Kray...also played by Tom Hardy in Legend.
"You got a rolling pin. What you gon do? Bake me a cake? Sing me a song" -Not Alfie
Ronnie kray (from legend) Tom Hardy totally nailed kray brother too
... like a western
Watch me blowou me fookin candles?
A SHOOT OUT RIGHT IS AH FACKING SHOOT OUT.
Alfie is totally based on Ron Kray, love it!!
When he says “he’ll wake up” I’m like “Eeeeer not entirely sure mate”😂
"Granted, he won't have any teeth left, but he'll be a wiser man for it"
@@Flarizelcold ass thing to say about brutally knocking someone out for speaking out of line
3:48 the military drill attitude . love that part
Every scene with Tom Hardy in Peaky Blinders is a masterpiece!!!!
I like how Tommy let Alfie take care of the joker and go over the rules. I think Alfie also had a higher rank in war than Tommy.
even if he did not.. I wouldnt want to interrupt or deny Alfie in anything ^^
I think he was a captain if I’m not mistaken.
Its because its Alfies place
he was a captain, and tommy was a Sergeant Major.
It wasn't the joker who Alfie hit, it was the man next to him who laughed loudly at the joke. You heard Alfie say "he'll wake up, and the last thing he'll remember is your funny little joke".
"Jewish wemen... They are off the menu" brilliant
Luckily it's not true. Black men and Jewish women are a perfect match. What better way to tell race purist white supremacists that their ideology is weak than a mix of the two?? We should encourage Jewish women to race mix as much as possible, otherwise Israel will not survive with the rate of homosexually that's going on there.
That makes them more desirable.
Love how soon as buddy made that joke Tommy looked at Alfie lol.
Tommy looked at em and was like “handle your boy, Alfie”
Hardy steals the show in every scene
Alfie is one of the greatest characters EVER in cinema!
peaky blinders wasnt in cinema tho
Poor guy was just standing there and got the sock for no reason lmao!
Exactly Alfie's point, if you screw up it's not just you who gets punished. It's a well known military doctrine.
He laughed loudly, I'm thinking that's partly why he got clobbered.
Well u should say poor to that old guy, once that man wake up it will be Longevity bully for him so poor old guy. “I lost my teeth by your funny little joke and you must pay the price”💀
It's a tactic used a lot in military training. When one guy messes up, the officer punishes the rest of the platoon EXCEPT the guy who messed up. It sows animosity between the troops.
@@JBrander i was in the military so i know what you mean but my drill sargeants never just slapped the shit out of the guy standing next to the guy causing the problems lol!
I felt this scene was so intense due to the unpredictability. That’s when I knew Alfie is the kind of guy you want to watch his work not be the end of it. 😅
" - right , forgive me for interrupting" 😂😅😂😅😂😅😂
Tom Hardy man… another level 😳
I like how Tommy approached his boy and was like, "See how he runs things"
Tommy the calm, Alfie the storm
What's interesting here is that they were already sus men before the war, but its almost like the war left a permanent imprint on them, so much as its like they can't even leave the mindset of being a soldier, and fighting battles against whomever the enemy is. Even after coming home they are still looking for a war to fight, and will continue to do so until the day they die.
Hardy with his game shocks not only the audience, but also the actors on the set. No one knows how he will portray the words of the script 😮. His talent is a rare one for sure 🔥👍
Wife: How did your first day at work go? Me: 🤕
NOT DISCUSSED!!!
Watching this without subtitles is a complete guessing game.
Brazilian here. I speak Portuguese and English as a well known second language. But whatever cockney that is, it goes with subtitles.
It's the English English used in Austin powers that had subtitles
I thought this came through very clear
Both the character and actor are absolutely riveting.
You can endlessly look at three things: how the water flows, how the fire burns, how Tom Hardy plays the role.🔥👍
Before I die, I will have the most glorious discussion with Tom Hardy about Alfie Solomons.
🤣👍👍👍👍
To motivate the scientists to work hard, Oppie brought Bane in to teach a lesson
I’m already starting to imagine that scene.
Alfie scared the shit out of me!!!! Tom Hardy was brilliant 😂
Brutal way to teach the rules but it definitely got the point across. I feel like none of the people in that room ever fucked around at the bakery ever again lol
It teaches the lesson perfectly that other people pay for your fk ups in that situation.
Operating like that would probably get you taken out by your own people after not too long.
"Forgive me, for interrupting"
Alfie is so well written and acted.
Real talk toms character is absolutely prime picture of an absolute boss 🔥
I hope Tom hardy is in the movie .his acting was amazing in peaky
Alfie is a force of nature
Other than venom Tom hardy has a sweeping rate at Oscar worthy performances
Tom has 50 films. Several Oscar winners 👍
Tom Hardy could be both the best James Bond and the best James Bond villain.
Tom Hardy as Alfie....first i learned of Tom Hardy, "...a-ight?" Amazing actor. Next level.
Tom has 50 films. Several Oscar winners👍🔥
Should have ran Alfie's part as a continuous shot.
I love the carry over from the Army through WW1, and the scene is just like the Army and how the Rank system would work for new recruits
they all served in the trenches, drafted and dying on an order.
Both Cillian Murphy and Tom Hardy are some of the best actors I have ever seen. In the TOP 3 for sure
Love this series man ❤️💕💕
I really love Cillian Murphy, but this scene with Tom Hardy..! Very powerful!!
Happy birthday Alfie. We love you🥰🍰😍🌹🔥🎉🍾💕♥💣
Tommy just does a *Ahem* and turns to Alfie as to say 'Deal with this' Or 'You gonna get that?'
3:03 two greatest "hm"s in the history
Like how Tommy had his back😊
Alphie is the best character ever
So, the touch of this is. More times than not in the military. When in formation/training/exercises/etc. You were not the one punished, although yes you'd get smoked. But, most times others would recieve the punishment while you stood there face to face with whomever you rubbed the wrong way. Mainly this was to show you worked as a unit and a f*ck up from one person will most likely hurt everyone, but also it was damn good for accountibilty. Much rather get smoked in front of everyone, than everyone else get smoked and you get balled up that night.
Tommy always looks like the boss in the room❤
I was thinking that. Tommy is the boss and Alfie the enforcer
just finished it yesterday & i’m heartbroken
what did u think about it
@@BeachyBird6986 best show i’ve ever watched, am so sad it ends with the 6th season but happy that a movie comes out

I actually never had a problem understanding Alfie’s accent. And I’m American 😂😂😂
Me too.
Your man makes a joke and Tommy doesn't even have to say anything. He just looks at Alfie and then steps back, as Alfie steps forward.
Tom Hardy owns every scene he's in in this show.
Great, now I have to watch the series all over again!
Like how Tommy had his back
I honestly think peaky blinders made them their own personality
I’d be requesting a meeting with the HR department.
Tom Hardy should play a commissar from wh40k if they ever make a live action movie
Gareth Evans' film Havoc, starring Tom Hardy, will be released this year. He plays a policeman. And also Jeff Nicholson's film Bikeriders. Tom plays the leader of a biker club.
First rule of the bakery. You do not talk about the bakery
i love alfie hes so crazy
Tommy made sure everyone knew that he was not about to tell Alfie how to run his business.
One of the brutal characters Tommy and Alfie
This show is so great. Can't wait for the movie in 2024 😍
Alfie was the most intimidating character of the series.
Honestly somebody like that would’ve got the shit kicked stabbed and shot out of them immediately. He’s movie intimidating. He’s not real life intimidating.
@Man of Tomorrow if you met a person that actually does this kinder thing.. they don’t like this. They’re fkin terrifying weirdos. Awful awful people. He’s just a weirdo.

This guy is just funny
"punish one... teach a hundred"
👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏
Not only that; but punishing someone in response to your actions (someone else bears your consequences) is great manipulative technique.
Alfie's "RIGHT!!!!" goes off in that dude's face like a hand grenade. :D
0:37 any questions? I HAVENT SEEN ANY BRED! 🥖 😂 looll
1:08 🤣🤣
The contrast in tactics works superbly... for a while. Eventually, the "rabid" one either becomes traitorous or brings down way too much heat. However, when it's working, few can stand in the way of a calm, rational tactician and his bulldog. That's not to say Alfie isn't brilliant in his own way. He built something large. Buuuut he was going to lose the war without Shelby.
Tom Hardy....a one man explosive psychotic episode in most of his character portrayals, think "Bronson, The Revenant, Star Trek Nemesis, The Krays, The Drop, that viral creature-thing, etc." I'm missing several others I'm sure, but he is scary intense in most of his work. Still searching for that elusive all-encompassing part that wins the BAFTA/OSCAR golden trinket, yeah?? Wonder which director he admires enough to accept a really 'off his comfort zone' part... something so not him but super challenging to his understanding of his art. My 2 cents. {:-))
Это называется амплуа актера. Вот и всё. Он делает то, что у него хорошо получается. Если бы он неудачно снялся в комедии, вы бы первые его обсмеяли.
Tom is a character actor. look at the definition of this term and that's it you will understand.
Rallying the Mates before drinking
This is absolutely the funniest scene in the entire series imo lol
Not funny when he knocks ya fackin' teef aht tho mate.
Still funny.
@jason - when he stares at billy kitchen especially

3:19 bro really went "Oh shit i killed em uhhh you thomas my bad bro go ahead and.... do you thing"
Tom Hardy is AMAZING in this role! It's just too bad the series came to an end. It's my favourite.
Not sure which movie Hardy was making or preparing for but you can tell the dude is ripped during this.
the first rule of Baking Club... IS YOU DO NOT TALK ABOUT BAKING CLUB YOU TART!
Alfie really evil 🔥 🦁
I didn’t know Tom hardy was in this show. It’s like a mini inception reunion
One dude at the back “but my wife’s Jewish…”
❤️ Tom
1:19 Reminds me of Bain from The Dark Knight Rises
Bane* and as its the same actor it isn't a surprise.
You can also say, the distincion between the bread and the rum is a Taboo?
I want to see Venom handle these street urchins!
Great director , good caracters , I never watched this until 2024 , just brilliant, better than any other crap on the tv now and its from years ago .lol
This is the reason why i ended watching the whole seasons of peaky saga😅
Tom hardy takes the 3 second rule and makes it his b!tch… What an actor 😎
Alfie is a cartoon character. I'd be killed quickly, because I'd be laughing at him all the time.
Its funny coz sometimes when he talks , i hear Bane
