We used a lot of parts from a broken lawn tractor, e.g.
Engine 14 hp
hydrostatic gearbox
Fuel tank
The wheels are from a 125cc ATV
The machine works really very well. It can cut grass more than 1 meter high, shred branches and tidy up a neglected plot.
Fascinating and most informative! You have amply demonstrated the principle of Built To Last! I wonder if you could, at any stage, add a side delivery function? Mulching may not be the best idea in some situations.
Wow dude AWESOME BUILD, looks similar to a DR type high end mower but you're a genius to know how to make that!
And anything else that’s in its way.. I love it. That takes some time and ingenuity.
Wow! Just Wow! Great video! Enjoyed every minute.
Made one while I was in Korea in 1960 without a machine shop, used C47 tail wheels, truck spring for a blade, and had to cover the blade after a trial run with a stainless table shelf, no it was not as good but did the job, should have patterned it.
So you’re the person that turned the Koreans on the two wheel gas ox. They were all over in 1985.
I love ❤ it. That takes some time and ingenuity
What a beast!!! 👍😎
My neighbor lost both of his feet using a similar machine that he built.
Shake hands with danger . Just because U can build this , Dosnt mean it’s a safe machine
Lol
Beautiful plain and simple beautiful
This gentleman is a borderline genius
Man , you are a genius, I’m pretty sure you can make a business out of this invention. Love it
It’s not an invention.
You are one of the most intelligent guys that I have ever seen
Great work and fabricator skills new sub
That things a beast nice job 👍🏻
Awesome work
As always another well built machine. Loved the video. Keep up the great work. 👍😎
Thanks 👍
Pozdrav zo Slovenska .
Nice job. Could use a steel bar railing in front. So tall brush don't fall towards you. Your machine work is Excellent.
I would love to have one of these to get in where my tractor mounted brush hog can't.
nice machine there!
I like it, but how many adjustment levels do it have?
Nice job!
Thank you! Cheers!
Excellent engineering! Well done 👌
fter watching this video, I can only say you are a truly gifted and creative individual. I am in awe of your abilities!
Thank you! Cheers!
If I only had a machine shop, but this is nice awesome job 🎉🎉
Franchement tu mérite plus de like
I do Love what you have accomplished! This isn't a DYI project. Just saying. Nice Job!
Pozdrowienia z Kanady! Właśnie znalazłem twój kanał i go zasubskrybowałem. Hope Google translate did not make any offensive translation....
You should rename this video to "The Awesome that Men Do." 😂
Please, what kind of blade do you have on this machine. I have an old version of the DR Field and Brush Mower (made in USA) and blades for it are no longer made. It is left discharge and I'm looking for blades that are designed for that. Thanks.
Just how many people do you know who have a full machines shop to do this ?
great video nice sharing super like
HEY!!! MAKE ME ONE OF THOSE!!! AWESOME....🙂🙂🙂🙂👍👍👍
intrbare : partea motrice, cum realizeaza deplasarea ,reglarea vitezei,si mersul inapoi ? mecanic sau hidraulic ?
How can I get one?
E siete impressionanti sulle idee
Great build. Would like to see it tested by Andrew Camarata
You need a wheel on the front, to help keep things level
Harika bir iş yaptın cok güzel

To involved for me. I'll just buy one when needed. Nice work tho.
Nice build very impressive how you made everything..i build stuff myself. And iv learned sone of your technique on metal...it will indeed help me with my stump grinder im building
MM77 Approved 👍🏼👍🏼
Overkill
impressionant
that is a beast of a machine excellent job on the making of the parts
When the wife tells you it's time to mow the lawn. You know it's time when the neighbors give you a pass for mowing after dark. Oh, you live in the sticks! So nobody cares about noise. I bet there's a farmer around that wouldn't mind raking that up into a feed bunker though. It's not alfalfa but it's edible for livestock like most of the grass species you have there. Over the top job in making the brush hog. Bigger motor may help when it comes to trees. Maybe cut a 'V' into the front to get closer to some targets. I would take it into the woods as is to clear the brush between the trees for sight value and to encourage better tree growth. That will last you for decades.👍
It needs caster wheels on the front
And anything else that’s in its way.
I hope it's loud enough to scare away any small animals before they get blended. 😧

Gostei demais. Parabéns ao(s) idealizador(es) desse incrível projeto!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏 - Abraços. Nice work! I miss having my own shop. Retired now, we had to move to a more affordable state. The shop had to go. How about this project? I have a Husqvarna high end 48" riding lawn tractor that is near it's end of life except for the frame, the motor, and the transmission. What I would like to do is make a flail mower powered by the same pully that now goes back to the cutting deck to go forward to power a flail mower that cuts a 45" swath ahead of the mower. I mentioned this to a company that makes flail mowers and they said the two bolts attaching a flail mower to the front of my machine would not be enough because there needs to be a way to adjust the height of cut and to raise the whole mower up when in transport, etc. I see here you are the guy that could prove them wrong! This could be an item that would be a new product for sale to finance an expansion to your shop and make a nice profit. A company like Oric does make a flail mower drum with the hammers, so that part could be avoided by simply ordering the drum and swinging hammers. A flail mower makes a nice enough finish for an average lawn, but it also can cut through brush, saplings, fallen branches, ant hills, tall grass and weeds. That is what I need on our property but I do not have thousands of dollars to buy such an off the shelf machine. Making an adaptable flail mower for under 5 grand ought to have a good market demand. What say you?
2:40 All that equipment and you don’t have transfer punches?
Great job sounds like you could use a little more horse power at times
👍
It must work good. In the thumbnail you have one blade on backwards. 😅

E 1 MECCANICO COMPLETO
Nice build. However it doesn't do a great job at cutting grass do to the fact that it doesn't cut level )two wheels only with hand adjust cutting). However it seems to do a good job on high weeds and woody bush cuttings. Not build a revolving cutter setup to work horizontally to mulch woody brush and trees like high end Ventrac. That would be a better cutter... JMHO Thumbs Up!
Great project but with no speaking or music it’s hard to stay the full video.
Majstore.

That's a portable brush huh guess you're doing more than It's job
Sick bush hog push mower but wouldn’t that thing weigh 2 tons
Nice build but you are using a gun to kill a mosquito.😀
Maybe however it's fun to build stuff..I love to build stuff
I don’t see an issue here
The more powerful the machine, the less wear and tear on it under load.
@@dejavu666wampas9that makes no sense but okay.
@@evilredBoris - Let me explain by example. Say you have a 10 ton trailer to haul, and two vehicles; a 4 cylinder 180 hp/125 torque baby pickup, and a 3/4 ton 8 cylinder 400 hp/420 torque full sized pickup. Which do you choose. The 8 cylinder, cause the wear and tear would burn out the 4 cylinder. An overbuilt, overpowered, machine would always breeze through the task, while an underpowered machine will struggle, and likely die.

Good work, but this is a copy of a 50+ year old machine. So, does not count as an invention. The commercial version of this has what is known as a "stump jumper" that covers arbor bolts. It sort of looks like a hub cap turned upside down.
Ok, everybody's kind of missing the point here. If you watch the video and you watch him, run the machine after it's been made, the picture that's displayed of what the machine looks like in the beginning is not what he has built. In other words, it does not have a cover on it. In the photo The blade is a complete lie and misleading. This is nothing more than a large blade grass mulching system, it does not have an open blade system. Whereby it can't cut down 4 foot grass or trees, or much else. So the advertisement is completely misleading and false. In addition, i'm listening to the engine while it's running and it is tremendousstly over exerting the engine to the point that i'm pretty sure in a future video, the engine's gonna have to be overhauled and or replaced. Experience.😮 34 minutes into the video. He's showing us that he's mulching and chopping down large debris. But all he's doing is exactly what everybody does. With a push rower, they put the blade down. And if it's sharp enough, it will do exactly the same thing. I've done it several times anybody who says they haven't is a total liar. I understand that an open blade system is extreme dangerous, however the advertised photo is that of a "BRUSH HOG EXTREME" ..... UH UHH ..... NOPE 😢😮🤥 The photo in the beginning if built would cut down almost anything. False advertising 😤😡
That constant "squeeka-squeeka, squeeka-squeeka" sound is a lil' distracting and somewhat annoying...
Copy of a Gravely mower.
THE FIST HALF OF THE BUILD WAS GREAT THE SECOND HALF OF CUTTING GRASS SUCKS
