  • My grandad collected them in the 60 and 70's and I still have several in my barn along with many extra pieces and parts, numerous engines and cabs and I have worked on them my entire life and have two that I totally restored and drive occasionally. If you not help or parts let me know. Im always glad to help someone get another one goin again. Idk where you are but I can toss some parts in my truck and come help you get it going, i actually made a unit that runs off of a 5 ho lawnmower engine and i use it to turn the engine over to start it, takes ten minutes to hook to the engine. Start the mower engine and engage the clutch and the engine spins

  • The excitement of starting an old motor that hasn't run in decades never gets old! I restored a 1954 Johnson 10 hp outboard that hadn't been started since 1968 (needed new coils, points, plugs, carb rebuild, and water pump) and it fired off after two pulls. I ran around like an idiot yelling "Johnson! Johnson!" to no one for a minute. Ran like a champion thereafter!
