  • I think this interview was very interesting. I feel like this is the fist time Gaethje was interested in an interview. I wish DC gave Gaethje more time to elaborate or talk more about what he really thinks instead of changing the subject. This is what DC brings to these interviews. Fighters respect him for what he is and what he has accomplished and they are more willing to be open about what they think. Yes I know DC knows Gaethje but still in multiple interviews, fighters are more willing to give more info because DC is the one who they are talking to. Salute for Gaethje for taking care of his parents the way he does and thanks DC for the interview.

  • Dude I love Gaethje, but Oliveira has been revealing himself to be in an incredible mindset especially with the newer videos coming out with subtitles an accurate interpretation you can really tell how intellectual and skilled he is when it comes to his fight IQ. I just don’t see Gaethje having anything other than a punchers chance. That’s still a huge chance because it can end any moment but Gaethje only has one out, KO. Charles has it anyway he wants

  • This interview is so much different than DCs interview with Ferguson lmfao. Gaethe looks relaxed, in shape, prepared and isn't combative with DC (they talk shit but its very friendly), as opposed to Ferguson who talked shit/argued almost everything DC said.

  • Justin's mentality about fighting is so good he is not scared of dieing in a fight and that's how it should be. I was in a tough fight in boxing last time and I loved it. Who cares about dieing we all have to go one day there is no escape. So for a fighter to die in a fight should not be a shock factor. As fighters we all should be ready to die in that ring cuz we all have to go someday right.

    • It's just really weird. Yes he won, yes he knocked him down and wobbled him repeatedly but Chandler wobbled him repeatedly too, putting him on the stank leg in rounds 1 and 3. All his 'if it were 5 rounds Chandler would be dead' bullshit when he forgot how, for most of round 3, Chandler, aside from beckoning Gaethje on, dropped his hands to allow him to land punch after punch for the crowd's entertainment.

    • Because he probably sees him as a doppleganger. The two fight so similarly and Justin wants to be 'the brawler' of his division. They both do backflips off the cage when they get a finish win, they were both college wrestlers. Justin doesn't like to be challenged to his own game and the fact that Chandler took Justin's best shots and didn't get finished probably bothers him a little.
