  • John Wick climbing all the way up the stairs only to fall the entire way back down might be the greatest bit of physical comedy in an action film ever.

    • Yep, and did you notice that the stairs weren’t littered with the bodies of everyone he killed on the way up? The dude that cleans up murder scenes is awfully efficient 😂.

    • Kevlar alone does not let you tank bullets, especially at point-blank range or from high-calibre weaponry. To approach that level of protection, you need a hard armour element (i.e. steel or ceramic plates wrapped within kevlar like what's issued to most militaries), and even then you can't just shrug off five or six rounds to the chest from 10 yards. Those suits in the John Wick films have to be made of fictional or experimental materials in order to be that durable while also being soft.

Having re-watched the previous JW Honest Trailers (several times) and remembering when Epic Voice Guy pointed out his unexplained immunity to getting hit by cars, seeing the obvious zero f*cks given by Chad & Co. about logic at this point and just going all in on that trope, which was then followed up by him falling down all those stairs, was hilarious to watch, even if I did keep saying to myself "I should *not* be laughing at this!" 😅😆
