I am watching this again after Elena’s Wimbledon win! She is so good! 🏆
same, hoping for more big things from her now that she's a wimbledon champ
same!
Same here
This was the match that first made me take notice of her and I've been a fan ever since. Loved seeing her win Wimbledon!
Yes same, so proud of her Hope she Will win many tournament
She peaked at the US Open and was mentally stronger than the rest of the field. More experienced players underestimated her. She didn't play anyone in the top 10. Older players will not be making the same mistake again. This is a tale as old as time in women's tennis. You peak, win a slam, your game is then studied, your weaknesses attacked, you lose. Again and again. Emma is not the first and certainly not the last to experience this. She has been hyped up beyond reason but will need time to adjust to the tour. I hope she figures it out quickly bc these girls will fight hard for a slam champions scalp.
She wasn't mentally stronger. She was physically more fresh than the rest of the field.
@@tennispredictionsandreacti130 nonsense. Sakkari and Sabalenka completely collapsed, no debate. Emma didn't.
Yes you are exactly right!! When other people and myself tried to tell people this- they accused me of being a hater.
@@HS-ie8tj They had three matches before. Sakkari two or three in a row three set matches. So don't speak what you don't know.
@@yakzivz1104 You are a hater.
It's not just the power...the accuracy and depth is exceptional.
With the way Rybankina was playing, Emma was lucky to even get a game. Power and precision!
0 and 1 isn't exactly a whole lot better ;^) but yeah, Emma had no chance here.
Ye Elena could have given her the double bagel but seem like she felt bad lol
It's also sad when a grand slam champion is just excited to win a point or one game.
@@bluemountain3779 so true
Emma Raducanu one hit wonder
I guess rybakina doesnt really give an f about the raducanu hype...
She means business
The thing is its just a hype...after the grandslam win- that's it so far, i haven't seen a consistent performance from Emma
I got a good chuckle out of that one Notis. Yeah, I think Ribakina wanted to make a point about it.. ha ha
There wouldn't be any RADDERS hype had she not done what nobody else has done, certainly not RYBA or even the so called 'GOATS' !!
Elena is such an elegant and effortless striker of the ball, on both wings. Very calm and collected. So much power and placement. Emma had no answers, outhit and outplayed. I expect big things from Elena from here on out.
Yes I agree I've enjoyed watching her game for the past 2 years.
Well, I just hope Emma's new coach Beltz can develop the slice and chip in Emma's game as Barty employed both to great effect in beating Elena in the final, and quite convincingly too as you have to mix your game up to counter the power hitters.
@@eyeofthetiger6002 If not, it won't be anything surprising. So many WTA players are one slam wonders.
@@Irfan87 no worries she will, otherwise he won't last very long as her coach.🤣 Anyway, most WTA players are not Slam winners, period, and 99.9% won't win one in their entire career, that's why Britain has to wait 44 years for a female Slam winner after Virginia Wade.
I think her game looks boring af, movements labored. Really just another Eastern European ball basher who relies on her muscles.
Amazed that WTA able to make a full 8 minutes highlights of this match.
Enjoy it now, as next week will will be getting those terrible 2 minute highlights at the AO😢
Really thought the match was going 3 sets bc of that lol
Having seen this live, I was wondering how they'd make highlights out of it.
It was very hard though 😂 for a while Emma was not even in the picture at all, they just showed Elena. Some Elena moving to the chair., correcting her hat, etc 😂 It looked like she ist playing against herself in front of some crowd who is eager to claps hands for a ghost
THANKS TO RYBA
You look at Elena's reaction every time after she won a point/ game it's almost as if she was too embarrassed that she was dominating over a Grand Slam champion (at the time of this tournament). Love her humility!
Tbf to Emma she had just come out of COVID here and had very limited prep before this match.
Back then it was Covid and GS hangover, then it was a blister, another blister, and more blister. Next, back pain. Not sure what's next, mental depression maybe???
@@briangmoh5261 Those things happened and were real, it is what it is. She’s a young and inexperienced player so she has to go through things like that and recover so you get stronger.
Raducanu needs to improve if she is to go further on in the game, there are too many good players now who are head and shoulders above her.
@@studiosfifty4 Well yeah she’s still young and new to the tour so she should improve. There aren’t a bunch of players right now who are head and shoulders above her, apart from Iga no one has stamped their mark down.
Rybakina's serves were far more solid. Incredible power on her strokes too.
Ahhh...Rybakina's on another level. Emma who?? How embarrassing! U.S. Open Champion folks.
I hope she wins another slam in a year or two or even sooner . Very humble player Rybakina. Congratulations on Wimbledon champ.
Rybakina reminded me of peak Kvitova. Just lacing the ball left and right with clean winners. These types of performances are what you consider "in the zone".
Reminds me more of Lindsay Davenport imo. Clean, aggressive ball striking off both wings with a giant serve to boot. Power tennis at its very best
For me she’s like Sharapova
@@safee4540 Davenport was a player with limited movement and she was dangerous even for Serena and Venus so no sense your comment, she just need to be more consistent and will be a contender for the AO
This is the Rybakina I wanted to see against Barty last week. She's unstoppable when she has belief in herself and trusts her abilities. Top 10 soon Elena!! 🎉🇰🇿
Owws better luck next time ER, RYBAKINA UNSTOPPABLE😘
nah. its just that raducanu played ridiculously bad. her serve was terrible.
But we can't compare radukanu with barty!!😅😅
Ash barty played a different style of tennis against Rybakina in the final at Adelaide, she mixed it up with lots of slice, power serving and changing up in pace, plus ash is probably the smartest player on the WTA tour!!
@@mrDredd1966 true but in the match Rybakina let herself down mentally
two best words to describe Rybakina’s game : overwhelming power !!
Rybakinas level was jaw dropping! A clean and effortless ballstriker. At the same time Raducanus shots didn't have enough bite to cause any problems. And she was often caught behind the baseline while facing great length from her opponent. And when she could step inside the baseline her shots were weak and Rybakina count counterstrike and Raducanu was too far infront. It led to the powerless shots and it was easy for Rybakina to dictate the rallies. Emma's serving and returning was badly excecuted as well. She was constantly on defense.
Why Rybakina and Emma? And not Elena and Emma? Or Rybakina and Raducanu?
…It seems we both watched 2 different games…Rybakina played like WTA 11/12…sure, compared to Emma…she was AMAZING!!!
If anything Emma reminded me of Bouchard in this match. She was throwing her body into her groundstrokes (bad technique), which one would think would produce heavy shots, but they were all mostly weak. Similar to Svitolina as well.
Emma got just one game in two set. Is that real?
We watched it live - your breakdown of the game is perfect I couldn’t have said it better myself.
Rybakina’s ground strokes were on completely different level than Emma’s…..Raducanu surely has a very tough road cut our for her….Expectations are huge from her ever since her US Open triumph….Hope she can endure the grind and find her form again…..
Hope she makes the A0 final 🤍
@TH4U i Think She Will
The difference between an experienced and a seasoned top level tennis players. To be fair Ryba has the built tall power pack strokes and has consistancy with her all round drives while Emma is comparatively a newby among the best.Emma must be ready to absolve all the expected negative comments after such defeat by "experienced" top level players despite her being already a Grand slam achiever. All Emma needs now is to toughen her mental and physical strenght...and that might go beyond 2022.
RYBAKINA, CLEAN HITTER, POWER BALL STRIKER, RYTHMIC SWING OF RACQUET, PINPOINT ACCURACY & PRECISION. COOL, CALM, NEUTRAL FACE WINNING OR LOOSING, NEVER SCREAM OR FIGHT WITH UMPIRE/BALLBOYS/LINESMEN/SPECTATORS. SHE LETS TENNIS DO ALL THE TALKING.
Tremendous effort by Emma R.. What a player.. Won 1 game against Rybakina...She is surely going to win the next 10 grand slams..
🤣
I understand now why Rybakina won Wimbledon last Saturday. Beating the Us Open champion that easy is very impressive.
Emma had just had COVID a few days before this and couldn’t train to put into context. Rybakina is good enough to punish you like this if you’re not on it though.
@@jgooner894 Always excuses

There's not much anybody could do against a player like Rybakina in the zone like she is here. Jaw dropping stuff really.
…Iga Swiatek beats Rybakina any time…before and after lunch…as she did end of last year….Rybakina played like WTA 11/12… nothing too fancy…sorry😞
I agree
@@sokenejols5742 😦 no idea what you’re talking about??? If Rybakina played Swiatek for the final…the final would have been Swiatek v Barty…🤷

And you were right on spot
A champion in the making. With this level of power, look for big things from Rybakina. What I really like as well...no screaming...no tantrums. This young girl is the real deal.
Bianca Andreescu how did that work out
Yeah, that is right. Rybakina is extremely talented but so far in big matches she has not proved yet to be a champion. You need a little bit more than talent ☝️ But you are also right: Time is still on her side - We will see
She's just a calm person in general. She never yells or goes crazy on court.
Yes, no screaming! I love that! Had to turn TV volume all the way down when Sharapova played!
She just won Wimbledon!!
Fabulous ball striking by Rybakina....Bravo
Absolutely… her forehand was on fiiiire
Her serve is extraordinary!!
Pure class from Rybakina! Hope she can keep the pace 🇰🇿
Wll, Raducanu's weak tennis help her a lot.
I especially admire her modest and understated demeanor. Elegant and classy. No grunting, gesticulating, pouting, etc. Such a refreshing player to see.
@@TeamACWa Just say she is hot . 😆
@@TeamACWa I like her a lot.
So sad she had to withdraw from the tournament after such a promising start😭
At the beginning of 2019/20 season rybakina started so well but pandemic kinda effected her like everyone else. I'm so happy to see her again with great play. She is definitely big threat to top 10 players. I'd not be surprise if she reaches to the final at Australia Open, even win the tournament.
Rybakina since won Wimbledon. Emma Raducanu could not stitch two wins together. Yet as per today's WTA ranking Rybakina is ranked around 26 and Emma has broken into top 10. Something funny 🤣
Emma with only 19yo at the time, looked like maybe her best years were behind her, now at 20yo and not even in the Top 100 anymore, has kinda solidified herself as a one-hit wonder
Both Raducanu and Fernandez have plenty of time to adjust and get better.. they have my full support and love
atlast something encouraging 😅
Same, people love downplaying her and fernandez, i know they will get more big achievements soon
I personally like Fernandez much better, Raduacanu dumped the coach that took her to the title right after, which left a bad taste in a lot of people, Fernandez is way more down to earth.......

The simple fact is that Rybakina is a rising star with a lot of experience. She will beat most players.
I think Rybakina will do very well this year based on this performance, a powerful player with great temperament.
And now Wimbledon Champion 2022... Congratulations...
Raducanu won at US Open because was absolutely without pressure in every game ...nothing to lose (something like that) then after realising what she achieved , everybody congratulate her , even the queen of England send her regards... was no.1 on the front page of all tabloids in this world imagine now what pressure is one her , because now she know that everyone watching her and expect wins in a row in any week ...
Rybakina completely over-powered and out played Raducanu...impressive. 💪
Emma's in for a rude awakening when she actually has to compete against Top 20 players.
It may take her a while stepping up in class, what with the unexpected win at the US and media attention, but I feel she will improve in the next 2 years
You are right about that. If Vika Kuzmova will qualify for AO 22 and she will have to play against her in the 1st round, Raducanu in that case too will be in rude awakening
She beat Bencic and Sakkari on the way to the final, both Top 20
@@joestudly9048 I think so too. We have to give her time to gain more experience. Elena Rybakina is for many years now main stay in WTA, while Raducanu only 5 or 6 months.
@@imalwaysright Raducanu only defeated Bencic and Sakkari because they were extremely fatigued after their matches. Emma Raducanu cannot defeat very fresh top 100 tennis players let alone top 20 tennis players.
I've been following Elena for 2 years now and my god, she's really developed into a powerhouse, she went out to Barty a few days ago but Elena has time on her side, she can only get better. As for Emma, well, I hope she up's her game, this was a route.
Just shows you how good Barty is not a slam on Rybakina.
Rybakina is also a hottie.
No you haven't lol
Rybakina will be unstoppable if she's a little bit flexible and faster....... Venus or even Ivanovics speed and flexibility at their height should be her goal
well yeah, she would be unstoppable if she could defy physics...but the aspects of her build that prevent her from being at the elite tier of flexiblity and agility are also the aspects that give her great striking power for her serve and ground strokes. Rybakina definitely strikes a heavier ball than ivanovic, and probably Venus (though its tough to compare, since venus's prime took place during an era of somewhat flatter hitting and faster courts). though her height is similar, rybakina definitely possesses a bigger, stronger, build. But I am already very impressed with how balanced and smooth her footwork is. I don't know how much more she could really improve these things realistically.
@@bonzwah1 Appreciate your thoughts. However, Homo Sapiens are pretty good at finding solutions to overcome physical limitations. That's the fun of sports. Look at Federer's biceps! He looks like a physicist who just happens to play tennis.
@@jeffmoore9487 haha, when you learn more physics, you begin to realize that there is no place where physical limitations are more present than sports. What you say is poetic, but untrue. human ingenuity is not about overcoming physical limitations. it is about working within those limitations in creative ways. Tennis is a beautiful sport because there are many paths to success. But if you want to isolate one specific aspect (speed and flexibility, in this case) then there is definitely a hard limit that each athlete has due to their body type. the key to improvement is crafting strategy or technique that circumvents those physical limitations creatively, rather than foolishly believing that you can just ignore those limitations.
Usain Bolt, Katie Ledecky, ... there are exceptions once in a while. But agree you have to work in the limitations of your genetics.
@@bonzwah1 learn how to spell
Raducanu's game was all over the place today (her service game in particular was so nervy), but not at all surprising given that it's her first match of 2022, after what was a disrupted pre-season too due to Covid. That will be the first time she'll have faced power like that too, with Rybakina pummeling serves at 120mph & with a 1st serve percentage of 77%. She has started the year in blistering form too, and can see her in the top 10 by Spring. People really need to reign in their expectations with Raducanu. Winning a WTA250, perhaps a few WTA250 or 500 QF appearances, combined with reaching round 4 at Wimbledon & the US Open would IMO be a good year for her. So much for her to experience in her 1st full year on tour. Never played a WTA match on clay. People need to chill, let her learn. If somehow she's around the top 50 after losing her US Open ranking points by December, I think that will set her up nicely for 2023.
I agree 100!
💯💯💯
Rybakina "passou o carro"!!! Caramba... Raducanu só ganhou um game!! Congrat, Rybakina!!!👏👏👏👏👏
I feel for Emma, hang in there girl! Rybakina is a strong opponent and has been playing very well!
Emma's not her usual self, as if she has no ace serves Cross court hits, slices, speed and surprises... I wonder about the coaching of the Covid.
I've always thought that winning a GS wasn't normal for Raducanu (even though I loved her performance throughout the US Open), but to me, she doesn't have yet what it takes to be a GS winner, her lack of power was really obvious against a player like Rybakina who hits the ball so well/strong. Losing 6-0,6-1 sounds really nasty for a GS winner. Raducanu might be a fluke, and the most difficult for her is to prove us wrong by winning another GS against the very top players (which wasn't really the case in NY.)
To me it was even more than a fluke. It was a mystery! Both her and Fernandez. Raducanu has a lot of work to do.
i disagree. leylah and bencic were no slacker. its just emma seems to be another one of those girls who succumb to pressure and expectations. another bouchard. hope she pulls off atleast an ivanovic and come up with another streak at some point. or atleast an ostapenko who is a staple top 25ish
agree Raducanu’s going to struggle unfortunately
Raducanu went from having no target on her back and players feeling like they should beat her to having a Serena esque Target on her back with players playing their best vs her. As we know it's not about the year after having your breakthrough, it's about the following year.
Right now she is having problem with winning 2 matches in a row, so we cant speak about next GS triumph. She is a terrible flop
How on earth did Emma win the us open? It becomes more of a miracle with every subsequent match

This is Emma’s first match so we shouldn’t really take too much from this. Rybakina is a good young player who has been playing WTA since 2017 as well so she has a lot more experience on her side and development.

Over hyped yes. But still amazing to win a grand slam.
it's comin' 'ome. LOL
We Brits don't even like her anymore. She said it was "a joke" that the public think she should be doing better than she is. That bad attitude and the showiness of her in every advert everywhere when she's shit, has turned most of us off her. Also, she isn't even British. Her favourite players are Halep and Na because she considers herself Romanian and Chinese not British. And she was born in Canada like Greg Rusedski - another plastic Brit.

That was ruthless wow. Pure ball striking. Just get in position and fire the winner. Well played, Elena 🥳👏🏽👍🏽
Rybakina and Australia just go so well together! I knew Emma was in for a tough match - she didn’t have an answer for Rybakina today. Though, I don’t think many players would have.
Ema should have been at the Melbourne tournament last week where majority of the girls were outside top 30. Rankings can’t make up for experience. What she did at US Open was spectacular but jumping 127 rankings points after 1 tournament gave her a rankings that her skillset and experience can’t support. Her ppl should prioritize matches over big events against top players. She plays like a player ranked top 50 at best. And that’s ok. She’s still new. She shouldn’t be expected to complete with the #13 whose been playing for years. She and her team need to be real about where she is and forget about rankings or expectations and figure out a realistic strategy bc all the first round loses aren’t going to cut it. Congrats to Rybakina.
Spot on with that assessment. 💯👏
this is the most sensible comment i have read so far..i agree 100 percent..tone down the hype and concentrate on gaining experience
Emma's gone from the hunter to the hunted, and at such a young age, too. Her grand slam win was amazing, but it will hinder her progress as a tennis player.
Us open was a fairytale, clearer thàn that
That's the thing. I don't know if one GS win made her a ''hunter''.
No, she’s just suffering from under preperation due to getting covid
Not necessarily. She can accept her circumstance of being “the hunted” and step up to the challenge. She can grow a lot this year
Yep she's in big trouble now. She's one injury away from sinking like a stone forever. The MBE is a ludicrous millstone roujnd her neck too.
Rybakina vs Osaka! two hard hitters and composed!! Would be a great match!!!
Raducanu showed a very high level of tennis in the last US Open, but also in her first big torunament Wimbledon. She has the tennis, but she hasn't trained and played too much las months, so obviously she need to work hard on her tennis to come back to last year level, and go forward from there on. She is very, very young, and I think she can do it, if she really wants, she is very talented as she has proved to us. Just give her a chance...she is still a kid (do you remember yourself when you were 19 y/o?)
Her game is just built different when it comes to slams
Nobody would wanna face Rybakina in this kind of form in this tournament or even at the AO. She also looks in excellent shape. Emma has to address alot of weaknesses in her game which are getting exposed everytime she steps onto the court.
Rybakina plays that tennis because of Raducanu. Raducanu is playing a terrible bad tennis. Barty is not Raducanu. Compare the way Rybakina played against both players.

LENA...so good ...my favourite...silent,graceful without any tantrums or publicity stunts
Raducanu is in a truly weird position as a “newbie” on the women’s tour-a position that no other player in the Open Era has ever occupied, to my knowledge. She appeared virtually out of nowhere, with minimal pro experience and a negligible ranking, to manage the unthinkable: peaking wildly to win the (arguably) biggest title on the planet. Immense fame, fortune, and expectation have followed swiftly and understandably. Yet her “everyday” game is clearly not yet up to the regular standard of the tour. It doesn’t make sense to most casual observers, but to informed tennis fans, it ought to make sense. The stars aligned for her in a most unusual way at the US Open and she took admirable advantage of a good draw and her own fired-up talents to win the whole thing within that three-week context (remember, she won coming from qualification rounds!). It’s as if the cart has been put before the horse, in career terms, for Emma. It is little wonder that Raducanu still seems a bit shell-shocked, given her actual inexperience and the astonishing way her life changed overnight. She will need a year, I think, for her “longterm game” to catch up with her highly unexpected and once-in-a-lifetime display of brilliance in New York. Hopefully, she will be given the proper time required to build her fine talent without undue pressure from tour, fans, commentators, and sponsors. Her US Open win was an almost freakish, anticipatory success-give her a healthy chance to let all things settle and then find her place on the day-in, day-out tour and she could certainly become a regular contender. She is much more gifted than this absolute obliteration by the treeing Rybakina would indicate. Plus, Emma’s going to have an extra big target on her back for quite a while. Here’s hoping she rises to the challenge because the women’s game needs a big star. Bad.
@itacs ltd Rybakina is not half as good as Raducanu! She won because Emma just had covid! I'll bet you are not watching Australian open...
@@mikemischievous2091 OMG! Before the Quarterfinal 2021 in Cluj Napoca, Raducanu did not suffer from COVID, however, she was actually destroyed by the young Ukrainian player Marta Kostyuk. In this match, Raducanu was multiplied by zero. This is her real place.
The BIGGEST tournament on the planet? Are you having a laugh? Wimbledon shits all over the US. Open. So does Roland Garros. NO ARGUMENT.
Swiatek had the same trajectory, winning a Slam at 19 but she kept improving and is now ranked #1. Raducanu has yet to do well at any tournament since the US Open. I wish she'd get a full-time coach, because she simply doesn't have the skills right now to be a top player.

Raducanu was very lucky at the US Open. Horrible to see how she is punished now by her opponents with a game barely good for victories against players out of the Top 200.
just if that
Dear WTA. We don’t need the slow motion replays and long zoom ins and bouncing in the highlights. Just points. More points less fluff
Emma just got killed in every way! I do not how the video producer could find any Raducanu highlights even.
I don’t like the shout on court celebrating the point, play well instead like Elena
I saw Rybakina at Ostrava Open last year (vs Świątek). Elena is a solid player!
Rybakina was just on another level. Total powerhouse of talent, precision and strength. She just didn’t let even a single short ball from Emma go for a waste and slammed them all. She commanded the game right from the beginning. As for Emma - She needs to develop her core game, she needs to build more strength, generate more power and by doing so threaten her opponent in rallies. I feel her shots lacked the sting, and even when she lost the first set she didn’t try and change her tactics.
Rybakina getting stronger this season
Emma needs to forget about her win at the US Open and look to consistently improve her game to continually challenge the top players. She didn’t face a top 10 player at the US Open, and her draw was cleared by Leylah Fernandez who played three top 5 players. She has been overhyped by the British press, and been given multiple awards before even establishing her self as a serial winner in tennis. She needs to understand the drive and sacrifice that the likes of Federer, Djokovic, Serena Williams and Nadal display to improve and perform at the highest level, focus ahead and win multiple slams.
I am here after rybakina's win Wimbledon
One of Emma's toughest so far. Rybinkina is so strong. Those cross court forehand passes were just brutal. 👏🌟🖖
It's Raducanu’s best game after winning the US Open. She need to participate in many competitions and practice!
Best game? Damn, her other matches must have sucked if this is her best game lol
Wym her best game? 6-0 6-1
@@fatwp6345 If the game was hard, the color of her face changed, but this time , She fought hard without that.
Wow, I thought Rybakina would win in straights but didn’t think she’d like, annihilate her. Damn. Hope Emma can win a bit at the AO. But I have a weird feeling she’s gonna withdraw
agree. i was thinking atleast sometthing sightly competetive. 6-3, 6-4 or something. lol
Raducanu: "Come on!!" Rybakina: "Understandable, I'll give you one game"
very good game from Elena. I really hope this does not soak up Emma's spirit. Keep your head up, Emma, you can still do great things.
Like modeling lol
Emma seems to have lost all her championship skills here. Somethings not quite right. This is a diff, Emma playing... maybe the coaching or the Covid is debilitating...
Rybakina almost feels apologetic after winning points. She is one of her kind.
Rybakina played too good. It is a grandslam winner play.
@@chanteng1892 дошла !
The umpire at the start confusing the players with one word questions and confusing hand signs
Rybakyna was stunning. Leylah Fernández played better but was eventually overpowered as well in her loss. Emma infeel was not tactically sharp with her serve.
MY GOD SUPER CALM ...INCREDIBLE TALENT 👏👏👏...
Emma Raducanu isn’t a top player! Her opponent isn’t much older then she is only 22. She was smashed by Marta Kostyuk who’s the same age as Emma. Going be a tough season by the way it looks. She’s now the main draw and people are expecting an in-Godly performance every time she plays.
She's so over hyped, really... Britain threw the kitchen sink at her with all kinds of ridiculous pompous accolades, and neverending sponsorships... And Emma believed the hype
@@creativestudio101 I believe Emma has a long way to go;and the media can be your friend or your enemy. Princess Diana is a good example. The fall from grace comes quick ask Ronda Rousey!
@@MaxPower-iv7kd yep, yep. Geez, the Rousey thing was almost too cruel to witness, that one kick shook her to the point she was another person, no longer able to fight, was sad really... She was also hyped up, till that fateful day
Just WOW, Rybakina was overwhelming.
Мы всегда с тобои дочка все казахи за тебя гордость ты наш здоровья тебе леночка
There’s a saying in business that water finds it’s own level. Emma played a total of ten matches in the U.S. Open and won the event. I believe her current world ranking is #19, but in reality she’s playing at a top 100 level. I can’t predict how her career will develop but I hope she’s not a one hit wonder. She has quite a mountain to climb to reflect her current world ranking.
100 percent agree
Yep
It's gonna get even higher, cause until Wimbledon she only has Futures points to defend. That means, even if she doesn't win a single WTA Tour match, she will STILL get more points.
@@Rosario_Verano Isn’t it that ranking is based on 52 weeks cumulative system? That meant if she didn’t win any at the end of the next US open (where she got most of her points then that big points will drop off) and then she will drop off from top 20 or worst top 50.. I hope she will win at least one of the 250 tournaments or heck maybe even 125. I may be wrong but it will be very hard for her to win a 500 or 1000 tourney.
@@homer087 Basically is 52 weeks but rolling. So, for example, at the end of this week the system will look how many points she got on January 2021 - week 2 and compare it to this year. Her first big chunk of points was when she made R4 at Wimbledon. Until then, she got almost nothing in terms of points to defend. If I was her, I'd focus more on getting points every week and focus less at the US Open. I'd lose some of the 2000 from last year's win, but I'd get a lot more throughout the whole season. Otherwise, there might be a massive drop after US Open.
The best thing is that she lost 6-0 6-1 which is the same result that iga swiatek got when she beat raducanu in Wimbledon juniors 😂😂
Yes Emma played awful but u can't ignore the fact that Rybakina played a near perfect match. It appears she's still not ready for big hitters, straight line ball smashers, servebot players
Right? She made Emma look like Emma made everyone she played at the US Open look.
Servebot player? Ribakina? What the hell match were you watching? Isner, karlovich, are servebots. Ribakina is simply a complete power player, and when she's on, well, then you get the brutal beating she just gave Raducanu. Raducanu by contrast is more of a finesse player, who really got a bit lucky on her run to the usopen. She still had a lot to learn and develop, let's see how far she gets.
Emma did not play awful …. She did not get to play at all ! … it was all Elena lol
@@ceterisparibus6261 Ditto!
@@creativestudio101 why they hell ur mentioning male players ??? What the hell happened to ur brain not knowing what female and male players are ????lmao
Am just here to read comments, who else
Rybakina on fire 🔥🔥🔥 Always support 🎾🖤🧡
I feel like Raducanu has been hyped.
Rybakina having a solid start to the year. She's primed to start getting deep into majors (she had QF @ F.O. last year) and potentially contend for them. Because of her height, serve, and big groundstrokes it's easy to draw comparisons to Sharapova or Kvitova.
One and done confirmed
