This time I made a portable mini workbench. Since my studio is a small space, it is difficult to use a full-sized workbench. So, I created a mini workbench that can be placed on a regular workbench and then moved depending on the situation. I also purchased used screw parts, made a tail vise, and installed it. I will use this workbench conveniently.

  • Very nicely done. The moxon vise using clamps is a great idea and much more affordable. Being able to move it anywhere along the length of the bench is very useful. Congratulations on reaching the majic one hundred thousand subscribers. You deserve it.

  • I have some similar hardware for a leg vise and wanted to convert it to a tail/wagon vise. Nice to see I wasn't the only one. 👍 I was thinking about using drawer slides but I think I like the wheels better.

  • You are so talented. I need to build myself one like this just a little thinner to lighten it up a bit for me. I never dreamed of a wagon vise thought and the way you constructed it using the white wheels is brilliant!. You don't have to worry about wood movement as you do when it is just wood on wood. I recently bought an 8ft long lathe screw from an auction for something like this. All I need to find is the wheel, or I can make one out of walnut and brass. I throughly enjoy watching your creative process and what a lovely out door space that must be to work in. As always Sir, thank you for sharing your talent with the rest of us.

  • Tolle Mini-Werkbank - danke fürs zeigen der Entstehung. Gab wieder viele Anregungen, wie man so etwas realisiert. Great mini workbench - thanks for showing how it was made. Gave a lot of suggestions again on how to realize something like that. Rudi - Aachen - Deutschland

  • Hello my friend 🫡 I have subscribed to your channel for almost 4 months now, and today, I finally caught up with watching every video you made, all 56 of them 👏 I am not one for leaving comments for two reasons. The first reason is that I simply do not have the time. I subscribe to 121 youtubers, some of which upload more than one video per week. If I were to comment on everyone I watched, then I would have nothing else to do in my life.😢 As it is I spend too much time watching KZhead videos. My God, the rabbit holes I've gone down. 😂😂😂 so many hours I'll never get back 😯🤭 The second reason is that after reading most, if not all of the comments others have left, I feel there is nothing else I can say that has not already been said. Watching you work, showing us the thought process in designing your equipment, then building that equipment needed to build the projects you do for us is a really big thing for me. I say this because I have done the exact same thing you are doing now only its been 40 years for me. 🤘 I have always been good with my hands. 😏🤭 behave! I never learnt the trade in the usual way, like going to college, university, apprenticeship, or any of the specialised training centres we have here in the UK. I was working in security, so I had a lot of time on my hands spent mainly reading. I learnt my skills from books, watching others work as I moved around the country. Then, in the evenings and weekends, I worked in my garage and shed making things, making mistakes as I learnt. Believe me, there were plenty of mistakes made over the years, but nothing ever went to waste. I could build anything I put my mind too and it looks as though you can do the same. With each project comes different obstacles to overcome, but you make it look so easy and easy we both know it is not. Take the bench you have just built. I made something similar about 8 years ago for a friend. Only mine was not as robust or refind looking as yours. I must admit, your bench is a much better design than mine. The same thing can be said about most of your projects, but then I did all my work by hand using hand tools only. The only electrical equipment I had until 8 years ago was a drill press, orbital sanders, and a jig saw. I now have a jointer, planer, circular saw, even a small lathe. Officially I will be retiring in 5 years' time, but I will continue to work, providing my body allows me to. So, between now and then, I hope to gain more inspiration from the craftsmanship you provide for us and perhaps some new ideas, projects I have not made in my life time. Keep up the good work. 👍🇬🇧

    • hello. My friend I remember you. I greatly appreciate your comments. I also watch a lot of KZhead videos, but I don't comment on them. The reason is because I also don't have time. So I think how valuable the time and effort you put into this comment was. I heard your story. Thank you for your interest in my videos and channel. I have and use a lot of power tools. But lately I've become more interested in hand tools and enjoy working with them. Although it takes more time, working with hand tools is more fun and comfortable. So, in the future, I want to make a lot of videos about working with hand tools. If possible, I would like to hear your thoughts about my videos next time. thank you

  • What a great build. Just wandering. I saw you also have a ‘normal’ woodworking bench. Why did you build this? Just for portability only? Thanks for sharing !

    @twandieltjes1359@twandieltjes13593 ай бұрын
    • I needed a wagon vise. Since I couldn't install it on my existing normal workbench, I thought of a small portable workbench and added it to my workroom. Because the workroom is small, a large full-size workbench cannot be installed. So I plan to use it like this for a while. thank you
