The Low Workbench 2.0 - A Mini Woodworking Bench with Lots of Features
Here is my new mini workbench, a combination of the first version and the lately planing board I did. Now it includes almost all the features I need in one tool, surface planing against planing stops or between bench dogs, straight edge planing, which can be used for both Western and Japanese planes, and a vise.
It can be either clamped to an existing table or bench, or can work well too above friction pads, when not too much force is needed.
Plans and ready made workbenches available on my store here www.adrianpreda.com/shop

I'm a full time RV'er you just saved my "living room" I made a bench inspired by yours. Thank You.
The most versatile mini workbench I've seen so far. Top of my list to make because it has all those little very functional features. Thanks for sharing!
Awesome little bench! A very clean looking and well thought out design. I love the sliding dovetail planing stops and the swappable shooting board rail
It was a pleasure to see someone pay so much attention to detail. Well done.
A perfect example of compactness and functionality. Thank you for the beautiful work! Special thanks for the links to the tool used!
Without a single word. Bow with respect.
That is a thing of beauty in itself! I imagine how uplifting must be working with this - creating beauty with beauty. Well done Sir!
An excellent build, very complete for such a small bench! Really well thought out!
I love this channel, not just for the awesome work you do but for the sweet tunes.
Bravissimo! !!! Sia per il lavoro che hai realizzato e sia per il montaggio del video... complimenti
Came out great! Love the craftsmanship and the little details. Awesome mini bench.
Thank you very much!
Clever. You surprise me with the side shooting attachment. Been following for a good while. Thank You.
A beautiful piece of work!
this is so adorable
WOW! Knowing you have such a small work space it amazes me what you produce. I can't wait for your shop tour.
Thank you Melinda! Yes, hope by the end of summer to be ready with it. Now preparing the cutting boards :)
Never heard of Iroko wood before. Learned something new!
Super cool, love all the little details here.
Am in awe of your craftsmanship and enjoy watching your videos over and over again. Would really like to see how you made your 45 degree shooting board for the building of your keepsake boxes.
Thanks dude, you're inspiring all guys like me that doesn't have space for a real workshop
Thanks too! Nice to hear that! There is no limit, I did woodworking in the living room, then in the bedroom :) Everything is possible
Very nice. A lot of great features. Thanks for sharing.
Very good. I like the way you added the side rail to make it work like a shooting-board as well.
Thank you! Yes, is mostly for edge planing, but if I keep the stops squared to the side can shoot 90 deg too, but I prefer using the dedicated shooting board, cause here with too much shocks can destroy those sliding dovetails stops
Adrian you did a amazing job on the new small work bench you seem to never forget all the little touches that make it incredible, thank you for sharing all of your hard work with us,all the best to you and yours
Thank you Ron! This was much simpler in fancy useless details then the previous, but the wood selection also helped more to make it simple and good looking. Thank you! All the best to you and yours too! Cheers!
excellent style, execution, editing, shots etc. So beautiful. Really enjoy your channel.
Thanks for the feedback! And for watching!
Very nicely done. Might even be the inspiration to my next shop build. 👍
I just like this little work table awesome job especially making it into a shooting board great idea
So well engineered! Simple yet very useful. Amazing job!
Thanks Nikos!
WoW!! That is absolutely beautiful!
Thank you!
Beautiful work
Wow that vice anti-racking jig is genius!! Thanks for sharing! Also love seeing what you’re capable of in (what appears) to be a small space.
Thank you! It's not my own invention, there are several comercial ones, Veritas makes it too, but is very easy to make and very usufull. Indeed I do have a small space, like 3x2m, 10x7ft.., after working before in the living room or the bedroom😀 After I arrange here a bit, I will make a shop tour!
Excellent and very satisfying to watch.
Very satisfying. Great job!
So good, so clever, so perfect. I couldn't stop watching.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Beautiful as always! Your videos are so captivating, don't stop! The anti racking jig is an excellent idea.
Thank you Cris! Ahh, still a lot to work to reach your videos level :) Yes, that jig is very useful. Just that I've made it with 3mm thick strips so I don't have too much intermediate range. 1mm ones will do better, maybe from plastic sheets, similar to the commercial one that Veritas sells.
When you clamp in the vise a small piece, on one side of the jaw, the other side will have no support, so it will bend/twist/rack, so the vise's thread ane rods will break in time. With that you distribute the force equally
Looks Great! Well done!
Dear Sir, A simple yet elegant workbench beautifully executed which I am sure will give the user a life long enjoyment. Kind regards.
Many thanks again for your comment! Yes, hope many lovely boxes will come out from it :)
Always a pleasure my old fruit. keep up the great work. Kind regards
Thank you, this is just the sort of thing I need
Besides the fact you build cool stuff, film yourself building cool stuff and edit scenes together that require to REwatch yourself building those cool stuff, i realize you're also a funny guy. This vid is TOP!

Thank you! Yes, maybe after spending hours and hours, days, doing and editing the video probably you have an urge to speak about it with the peps watching it :))
Thank you for the reply, Adrian. After posting my comment I had a minor panic attack - what if you didn't reply? ;D Best regards, Gary
Thought that too :) What if I will not reply :) Thanks Gary! Cheers!
And it just occurred to me... if I was a bad person, I could keep you tied to this thread for days, weeks even? ;D Don't worry, I'll not do that. No need to reply. Cheers ;)
