Sponsored by GEICO.
Police Captain Ed spent ALL his free time trying to rescue an escaped beefalo named "Buddy" in Connecticut. He tried night vision goggles, a drone, and even hid for hours in a trailer. It was all worth it when Buddy was finally rescued and brought down to Critter Creek Farm Sanctuary in Florida.

That is because they're sentient, loving parents. So don't be so judgy. I hate that we're all made to eat each other but acting like eating plants is not as horrible as eating other animals is wrong. A cop cornered him and the bull gave up and ended up with the bull's head in his lap and the bull just sighed and gave up. That cop made sure he got to a sanctuary too. • If you are interested, look up what happened,oh,I think it was the early years of the 20th Century. The caves of Lascaux provided the look of the wild aurochs, and some American ranchers decided to try to breed back and recreate the wild animal from existing breeds. The last true aurochs was killed in Poland in the 17th C,I think. Using such as Mexican fighting bulls, longhorns and other,a program was established. It happened much faster than anticipated. When one program recreated size and shape, another recreated coat colour. When the two were crossed, when the animals hit adulthood, bang that was it. Intelligent, very large, they were killers. Attacking just about anything that moved. The behaviours of the wild aurochs were to protect the herd by attacking anything other. The recreated critters behaved similarly. Cowboys on horses were a target for their horns, not something that could move within a herd. The program had to be stopped, the animals shot. So Buddy being a beefalo had enough wild mix to make him stubborn,he got what he wanted,a herd. And survival.Good for him. We need reminders of the long centuries it took to breed cattle that could be around humans.
