I am a 70s teen. I loved the 80s and 90s too. I feel that way about the 70s. I often hear people my age (67) say "oh our music was the best, nothing good today, blah, blah, blah". I always hated that. I tell them everyone likes the music of their youth the best, you are new to the world of adulthood, it is such a great time. I tell them that is a sign you are old and closed to the world. Music is timeless it goes on into infinity. It is all good. ❤❤❤

- Non c e alcun dubbio che tutto quello che ci ricorda la giovinezzaviene valorizzato di più.Ma ho qualche dubbio sul fatto che gli adolescenti di oggi tra 30 anni abbiano lo stesso attaccamento che abbiamo noi ad alcune canzoni:Oggi una band anche se qualità raggiunge milioni di ascolti in pochi mesi e nell arco di pochi mesi rischia di essere dimenticata e rimpiazzata da un altra perche i mezzi di diffusione sono molto piu veloci.Quando usciva un pezzo come questo passava alla radio per anni e si investiva molto nella qualità ,molto piu lavoro e molto piu tempo per fare un pezzo del genere.

Ho 50 anni? Fiera di aver vissuto gli anni '80!Dove le canzoni nascevano per caso,e dietro c'erano dei veri talenti! La maggior parte li seguivo a" Superclassifica show! Di domenica!Con Maurizio Seimandi,e il grande DJ Claudio Cecchetto! Sul giornale TV sorrisi e canzoni, ricordo c' erano i testi delle canzoni preferite! Imparai a memoria,quella dei Duran Duran" The Wall Boys" che poi la domenica mattina,dopo essere andate in chiesa, correvamo giù al bar per spendere le 500 lire,nel juxe box per ascoltarla e cantarla insieme al barista! Quanti bei ricordi! 🤦🏻‍♀️😢😂♥️♥️♥️

I’m 56 and Depeche seem to have been with me all of my life. There is something comforting, familiar and connecting with their music that I never tire from listening to it. Ever since Dreaming of Me back in ‘81, Depeche music has been a part of me. From collecting the rare 12”s, my first CD, my first MP3, full volume I’m my CLS55 and my first music DVD - It’s always been Depeche. Other music comes and goes in my life....but their music is a constant, and there is something really special about that.

- I’m only 20 but some of my earliest memories are my parents playing Depeche Mode all the time. I Just Can’t Get Enough was my favorite song when I was 2 (maybe earlier) and until I was 7 (in which my new favorite song was Coldplay’s Viva La Vida). Anyway I rediscovered Depeche Mode this week when my dad showed me a video on KZhead of the Depeche Mode 101 concert in 1988. He said out all the concerts he’s been to, it’s still be best one he’s ever experienced. Just watching the video I felt like I was there, there’s a unique energy to Depeche Mode concerts, and I’ve never felt that energy from a video before. It was also weird to see what the singer looked like for the first time. My initial reaction was “damn he’s HOT. Too bad he isn’t my age anymore” lol. Seeing him dancing during this video makes me glad that he still does it like he used to. The only person remotely comparable to Depeche Mode who can put on a good show is Brendon Urie in his band Panic! At The Disco. His music is very different from Depeche Mode’s, but the way he dances and the energy from his concerts feels very similar.

Loved this song when I was 18 years. Right now 51 years young and still love this song and Depeche Mode. Some things never change in your life. The love for DM is one of them. Really magnificant!

No existe linea de tiempo con DM... No importa si lo escuchas en los 80, en los 90... Ahora... Siempre, Siempre estarán vigentes porque suenan hermoso, porque sus letras son verdad, porque la voz de Dave y Martin tienen angel... Cada uno transmite algo distinto pero a la vez muy similar. - They are still around touring. Always SOLD OUT shows! Not under appreciated at all! I've been to their concerts at least 5 times. Last one with my 20 year old boy, who really appreciates them.

- I don't agree. They may not have much recognition as the Beatles or popular British band in the 80s but to say they are the most underrated is not true. The most underrated British Band is the Johnny Hates Jazz group. If you don't know them then it just reinforce my comment that they are the most underrated British band. Search for their official KZhead channel here and see how few their subscribers are and compare it to the quality of their songs. It's a shame that the group didn't become popular as the other popular British bands.

When I was a young man, I wasn't into this genre of music. I was locked in on Heavy Metal back in those days. As I've grown older, I've grown wiser. I still love Metal... But this song and this genre are incredible. So well done. A song for the ages.
