Here is a thing, TVA doesn't necessarily prunes every Variant. You see in another timeline Loki escaped Thanos (old loki variant) and lived quite a long life without TVA interfering or pruning him, it was when he decided to go back to his brother the TVA pruned him. so even if Cap. stayed in that time but didn't do stuff that according to TVA messed up the Sacred Timeline, TVA doesn't care about it. Just like it doesn't care about what happens in Apocalypses cause their system doesn't register the branching and hence they are not even informed of any such event. So if Cap. didn't cause branching, TVA won't prune him.
old loki wasnt pruned for awhile because his nexus event was trying to go BACK to see Thor, not leaving Thor in the first place
It's because since old loki didn't interact with anyone or affect anything it doesn't cause a nexus event until he goes to thor which would change things.

Obviously je creared a branch reality the moment he diverged from our loki, but somehow the tva didn't notice this alternate branch untill he went back to see loki. It's something releted to ehat they called temporal energy, some branches must be so close to the sacred timeline that the tva doesn't notice it untill a vert big change the nexus event, happens.
I think anything that would affect kang directly or indirectly would affect if TVA would attack or not. So if you kill Kang before he discovered the multiverse? how that going to work on TVA end?

I thought the alternate timelines in Endgame are one branch from each year? How are there more branches in a single point? Shouldn't it be growing branch instead of multiple?

@@margarithadamaledo8163 whole universe, that may be changed just by a change in one person's life it's said that every single universe is the same with minos variables, but the events stay the same if you change something in life of one person, this becomes a branch as the events are not the same hence the young Loki in the series, who killed Thor which wasn't supposed to happen, created a branch and he got pruned

Loki wasn’t supposed to take the tesseract, yet the extra time jump didn’t trigger a nexus alert. This means the extra jump did not affect Rogers and Stark at all in their personalities and decision making there after. Also, Rogers would have to have returned the power stone in perfect discretion, because if any change was made in 1970 resulting any difference compared to the timeline in which they get the the tesseract from 2012, a nexus event would’ve taken place. So this would look like a solar flare that bends back on the holy timeline

I beg the difference, Loki taking the tesseract was the way Kang decided to change the normal loop that creates him, because he was tired. If Loki decided to take his place, his job would have been to modify the history in a way the same Loki would be created every time. Time is an infinite loop

I was always under the impression that the moment when wanda becomes the scarlet witch was that huge nexus event that broke the timeline and was the "threshold" Kang talked about which the left him powerless

What If is listed between Loki & WandaVision, so it can be assumed that Sylvie’s actions brought about the show’s existence chronologically. Also, What If is 9 episodes, not 10. One of the episodes got pushed back to Season 2.

Strange is considered as a threat, not as a sorcerer, but as a surgeon himself. The algorithm is basically searching for the most extraordinary person in their profession and if thier morals are against what hydra is fighting for, they are considered as a threat no matter what.

Hydra doesn't have people who know the future, Zola's algorithm predicts potential threats based on compiled data. strange is a threat based on that data.
Governments & companies do the same thing right now so, yeah. Makes sense.

It doesn’t make a whole lot of sense that they can predict Stephen becoming a wizard, but at the time he was a world renowned surgeon who could potentially fight against hydras reign. Idk why Sitwell would list strange alongside banner tho. Maybe it predicted strange’s reckless attitude would get him in an accident which could result in powers?

My interpretation of the “sacred timeline” is that The time Heist was always going to happen, but in the sacred timeline they never travel back to the 1970s. However due to Loki’s travel the sacred timeline is INSTANTLY removed and the avengers go to the 1970s without pruning. So captain America’s dance with Peggy may be pruned normally after each timeline loop, this time it couldn’t be pruned because of the multiverse
Kang only prunes timelines that can lead to alternate Kangs, so any timelines where the Fantastic Four don't appear would probably be 'safe'.

I like to think this way, ln endgame the reason that cap decides to go back is because he sees peggy in 1970s which happen due to loki escaping with tesseract. So cap need not to be get pruned because if loki didn't escape he wouldn't have gone back in time to live with peggy.

I’ve been thinking this for some time but I’m kinda convinced that the initial destruction of the time stones by thanos is what kick started the multiverse. Like we learned from the ancient one, once a stone is gone from it’s timeline, it creates a new branch. So if they’re all gone at once, it creates infinite chaos. The threshold that was finally crossed.

Yes i think that's how marvel can explain why the multiverse doesn't affect things before 2023. Only in 2023 with the infinity stones gone for good do other universes start to interfere. Earlier, they would've been kept in check by the infinity stones
No I don't think so. The Ancient One says that it's only when an infinity stone is removed from that reality a branched timeline is created. Thanos didn't remove the infinity stones from this reality, he reduced them to atoms within it.
Old Steve = Prime Steve. No matter where or when he is he is still the Prime Timeline Steve Rogers, so cannot be a variant. This is why I remain determined that he just lives in the history of the main MCU timeline.
Nice. But just because he is prime, doesn't mean he's off the hook. You get pruned not because you're a variant, but because you commit crimes against the sacred timeline. Luckily marrying Peggy is zero variance

I feel as if the ending battle in WandaVision was in coordination with the “threshold” event, described by He who Remains, in Loki.
That has to be why Marvel listed Loki in chronological order, before Wandavision, other than any other reason I’m aware of

Btw, almost no long term branches were created during the events of Endgame, the only thing that changed is whatever certain characters perceived at the moment. (Those characters also happened to die short after those interactions, ie Frigga and The Ancient One) Only 3 of the things that happened created a branch. All the other changes are inconsequential to the timeline and therefore, Cap could've gone back to those moments a fraction of a second after his teammates went back home. Basically keeping the flow of those timelines. So, the return of the Tessaract, Soul Stone, Aether and Time Stone, had no consequences in those timelines. UNLESS Cap not only returned the stones but also interfered in some big way (like the Hail Hydra moment) while returning them. Basically the events of Endgame created 3 timelines. 1) Cap staying with Peggy 2) A timeline where Hydra either thinks that Cap is loyal to Hydra OR a timeline where Hydra knows that Cap knows Hydra has infiltrated SHIELD (without that Cap having that info, effectively weakening the Avengers against Hydra) 3) A timeline without Thanos

I’m pretty sure the reason why the avengers and everything (or mostly everything) before endgame cannot be touched because iron needs to invent the technology so that Nathaniel can use an advanced version in the future. It’s probably why small changes to the timeline don’t matter until they really affect it, essentially old Loki’s story.

@@Rixxalight I don’t think they knew every single detail. They only knew that he was a potential threat and needed to be taken out. Zola’s algorithm doesn’t look into the future, it just predicts it. A perfect example is a weather forecast guessing it will rain but not that it will create a mud slide or whatever, killing someone.
