I was only 10-11 years old when I started playing COC with my cousin, and I still remember all of the obstacles shown in this video most notably the 2013 and 2015 X-mas trees, with the exception of the spikey cactus, because I quit COC for the time being during that time. But still how much time have passed would you look at that, different town different house different faces but still one thing does not change and that is playing COC nostalgia just hits harder and harder overtime.

I think the issue with the rock is that as your base grew the rock became increasingly more in the way, especially if you wanted a symmetrical base so most players removed it because of that reason also. Not many people wanted to waste putting walls around a rock either and the shovel of obstacles wasn't introduced until the 2018 winter update. At this development stage of the game, there were no options for "move all" in the edit mode for base designing/creating. That didn't exist until May of 2016.
The game doesn't make me feel like I anymore but I still watch your videos and relly loved them

I have got 2 of those 2014 x-mas tree presents left and it is a curse since I am afraid to even go near that part of the base
Fun fact end of 2014 is when they started issuing 9 character player Id's. Mid 2015 it was possible to get a very short I'd because they issued old id's from removed accounts. Once those were used up again they went back to 9. I started my second account in mid 2015 and it has a 6 character player id.
My biggest flex is over half a million in friends in need donations. Over 10 different Christmas trees. Halloween decorations graveyard, hand out the grave yard, and Halloween tree with the spider web all displayed together. I was also apart of the first clan wars before clan wars was released to public, in dusk dominion. Only spent money on epic winter scenery and queen of the north skin.

My bigger coffers achievement is from 2015, I have the king league skin, I've been pretty high on the global leaderboard a few times, and have had multiple perfect legend league days.

I started playing in December 2012 according to my achievements. Also, I have like 8-10 golden trees, and I have some of the oldest trees. But my biggest flex is the sheer amount of decorations I have, and I haven’t seen any mushrooms, trees, or stumps in years I have so many! The only obstacles that do spawn for me now besides event ones, is the gem box. That’s it! My tag is 5 digits as well, and by pure coincidence is spelled the same as my IGN. (Well, mostly anyways)

I never realized that there were League skins. I just used my medals on the hammers. I finally saved up and got the league king skin and am saving up next for the queen or warden skin
I have a Th10 base maxed out during covid, still in th10. with the new hero equipment update, I am far away from maxed now.
Theres a th8 called saqib who has almost all of these flexxes. Free to play th8 with 9k war stars, xp level 450, legend trophies, max th8 but with a lot of other accounts. Dude is crazy

maxing the heroic heist achievement to 2 billion dark elixir is probably the biggest flex, as everyone can do it with enougj dedication... New players will never ne able to flex with a 2012 christmas tree

A big flex is being able to 3 star a base with "bad" troops. I've personally almost had this flex when i did a 2 star 71% on a TH11 with only Minions

At one point I had 2014 clashmas tree with one at the very top corner with all of its presents, tombstone and cauldron on an account. But someone took that account, removed all obstacles and I got locked out from it. Aside from security issue that was resolved back then, it’s really disappointing to know that I had those obstacles but outside of my control, I lost them. Sometimes I wonder if I could a message supercell to see if they could give me at least one of the tree and two Halloween obstacles but I doubt they will do that
