  • The housing prices are a frickin joke. Yet governments act surprised when young people don't wanna start families nowadays.

  • Never stop dreaming. Be hungry and never stop believing in your dreams. If someone can do it, you can do it. Be strong

  • The way a lot of people in places like Toronto and Vancouver have the money to buy houses is this: they lived in houses bought before the market rose, then sold them for often triple the money.

  • In Sweden, you can buy almost two fully built houses. Yes. A house in the villages around Sweden costs 50,000 dollars, or 500,000 Swedish crowns, so yeah, you can buy a lot of houses in the Swedish villages. In the Swedish cities, houses and apartments costs around 100,000 dollars, or 1 million Swedish crowns, and that's a rough estimate. I only pay around 6-7, maybe 8 or 9 thousand Swedish crowns a month for my ground level apartment, and it's big enough for two or three people, and it's not even a large apartment. We Swedes have it way too good. Also, you can buy an entire farm for one million dollars

  • In the Indian state of Goa ( arguably the most touristy state in the country ) you can not only buy a house, you can build a whole bungalow and still have money left over for furnishings. And you would probably still have money left to live in luxury for a year or two without working.

  • 1 million dollar is such a far away concept for me here in hungary where I'm considerate above average with a pay of 750 usd a month. Regular people look for homes for less than a 100k.

  • You should do a video showing every state of the U.S.A. a house of the same average price. You could do the Capitol of each State or a city in the center of each. Pick a more modest cost like $200 thousand.

  • It's hard to compare. My sister lives in FL, her house is huge with the large backyard near the water, only 550k. My house in CA 1.3M, small and little yard. Same country, different locations make big difference.

  • SHEESH. Here where I live in Western NY state, you can get a 5000+ square foot home in pristine condition, with 150 acres of both tillable land, orchards and barns for 1.1 million.

  • My heart is with the old old houses. Buildings that have been around for centuries. Love the old windmill property and the one in Greece!💜

  • With the California ones... yeah, if you buy in the Bay Area or Southern California your money isn't going to go very far. But if you buy in the counties that aren't super populated like the Sierra Nevada Foothills portion of the state where it's remarkably cheaper then your money will stretch a lot farther. The average median house price where I live in California is around $400,000. Are there cheaper houses here? Yes. Are there more expensive houses here? Yes. I bought my own house in 2008 after the market crashed and now it's worth almost 3x what I paid for it and my morgage payment is a remarkably low $743 a month. Rent here for a 3 bedroom 2 bath house is around $2000 for reference so my morgage is super cheap by comparison. Especially since minimum wage in California $14 an hour which is really high compared to most other states but since California is known to be expensive to live in you can't work that and rent a $2000 house (and I only work part time even if I make $2 over minimum wage). My sister and I were the smart ones who bought our houses in our 20's so that now we're in our 30's we pay way less in morgage payments then we would be for rent. It's the only way my sister would have been able to have the 3 kids that she has lol. My brother on the other hand didn't think things through and he and his wife and their three kids live with our dad because he simply can't afford rent prices and our dad bought his house a few years back.

  • Home is where your ❤ is! Doesn't matter where exactly. At the end of the day your crib is where you reset, destress, and relax. A place where you feel happy, content, safe, secured and comfortable!

  • The flat in Hong Kong in the video is located in sub-urban area, so it is relatively cheaper. For 100% new flats in the urban areas, 1 million US dollars could barely afford a studio flat around 300 square feet, and prices may even go more insane in downtown
