From director Jason Reitman and producer Ivan Reitman comes the next chapter in the original Ghostbusters universe. In Ghostbusters: Afterlife, when a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind. The film is written by Gil Kenan & Jason Reitman.
this is a very accurate depiction of Walmart, just a terrifying demon dog and tiny mutant marshmallows on the premises with no employees checking in or helping
I can definitely see going to Walmart to pick up ice cream being a typical Friday or Saturday night for our man, Paul.
3:19 I like how the dog immediately shuts him off just as he's about to start talking - as if the dog wants to say "I don't want to hear your pathetic speech to appease me and get straight to the point...". 😅
Uididikdikdiiiwkksikskdiksimskmskisimeiim
He probably like NO I DONT WANT YOUR MILK BONE
3:57 "Oh dear. Looks like your luck has run out for you."
Looks like Walmart needs to upgrade their security! 👻👻👻😆

The baby marshmallow men may look cute but definitely not friendly
Damn the marshmallows have the zoomies💀
A typical evening at Walmart.
Paul Rudd walking towards the ice cream is a whole mood and I love it

There is nothing that scared me so bad for so long as a kid than seeing Vinz & Zuul Clortho. Those Terror Dogs kept me up at night and literally had me terrified that one was living in my closet or behind my shower curtain. When I was about 10 we had a Dachshund named Susie. She was very sweet and very special to me and my family. One day after coming home from school I really wanted to play the Ghostbusters video game and was very into the franchise at the time. Like I was a real super-fan. When I was walking upstairs to get on my Xbox I saw something at the top of the stairs. It was a dark figure standing on all fours staring at me. The light from outside glinted so perfectly off it's eyes that they looked a deep, light red. I never screamed so goddamn loud in my life as I literally thought Vinz or Zuul was staring at me ready to take me. Turned out to be Susie but still shook me up for about a week lmao
When the first two Ghostbusters movies hit the theaters, I was a young adult. So, I had no problems with nightmares afterwards. Maybe you were a bit too young to handle them. However, time and maturity can change your views on whatever scared you as a kid.
T aí pô😊
Sounds like you were still a little too young to see this movie. Fortunately, I was in my early adult years when it first came out. So, I fully realized that the demon dogs were just special effects. The TV special that really scared me as a kid was, "Halloween is Grinch Night". I think that you can find it on KZhead. BTW, I watched it again as an adult and it didn't creep me out as much as my first viewing of it did. Let me know what you think if you decide to watch this.
Paul rudds strut is brilliant ❤️
The Terror Dog looks terrifying!
Doesn’t the terror dog look much better with cgi than whatever we had back in 84?
watching the little marshmallow men do to themselves what you usually do with marshmellows, like putting them over the grill, is kinda unsettling
Mo him
The day we say this in theaters, we hat just bought that exact same dog for my 95lbs pitbull, brought that shit the next day🤣🤣
When i first saw this movie, i wasnt expecting Gozer and Zuul to show up.
nah, that's Vinz Clortho, since he has longer horns
Can u suggest where to watch this movie for free
Why didn't he take off running when he first saw the terror dog? He could've been out the door and halfway to his car by the time the terror dog even noticed he was there!
This is the part of the scene.
He WAS beginning to back away. The stay puft marshmallows hit his foot with the rumba and that’s what got the dog’s attention.
Shock
just the freeze response, like fight or flight. Most people will respond with freeze where you're so scared you can't move. Plus he was slowly backing away, likely trying to make as little noise as possible its just the stay puft guys came and ruined it
Then we will not have a chase scene duh 😂
Ghostbusters to 1984 and ghostbusters to 1989 was very great movies. Ivan Reitmann was amazing. Rest in peace.😢😢😢
In the OG script for the first movie, the scene where it chases Rick Moranis was supposed to be longer and funnier; Akroyd wanted it to flip and slide into stuff all over, but the effects of the time didn’t allow for it. He was kind of exorcising that particular ghost with this scene.
Gozer's Dog return
Somehow
Vinz Clortho caught eating dog food while Zuul studies and attacks her target.
Lmfao when i first watched the first ghost busters movie i asked my mom if that it looked like a huge marshmellow man and she told me it was a huge ghost. I legit die laughin seeing them tineh marshmellow men. 🤣😂😎🤓
Ant Man is being chased by a bear in Walmart!
😂
I thought those dogs were Hellbounds from Hell. I have yet to see this movie Ghost Busters AfterLIfe. It seemed pretty good.
No way would a Wal-Mart parking lot be that empty, especially during business hours!
Depends on what time at night it is and how many people would be out that late.
Is only 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm.
Or half empty
In smaller towns they are, especially the 24 hour ones
Them shoppers be looking too human compared to real life walmart shoppers
One time I went to Walmart after midnight. I was walking, and I saw package of chips moving. It was a rat eating chips from a shredded bag.
Calling shenanigans, that looks way too clean and organized to be an actual Walmart.
i agree. walmart is always cheap-looking and dirty.
and empty
@@kingofmonsters14 Well, late at night? In a rural community? That's actually not unusual.

Viiiiinnnnnzzzzz you need a bowl for that now put Antman down and come on Zuuls waiting in the car
Even security cammeras wouldn't believe what they were just filming 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
Average walmart shopping experience
The best part of this movie was when Vinz said "It's Clorthin' time" then Clorthed all over that Walmart.
1:58 Where's Ant-Man when you need him?
Going total nerd here for a moment... Aside from the Stay-Puft marshmallows, they didn't shy away from product placement - to start with, setting this in a Wal-mart. In the ice cream aisle, Baskin Robbins and Parlour (which is made by Nestle) are all but spotlighted. In the baking aisle with the marshmallows, it's harder to tell what's on the shelf due to the angle of the shot; one section is pretty clearly Jell-o, and on the shelf above the marshmallows they have Hershey chocolate chips. Weber is blurred but still readable when the marshmallows start that up. Cuisinart made marshmallow fluff. Finally, Purina dog chow. The one thing that stretches disbelief is the grill firing up. They don't keep the big propane tanks indoors, let alone attached to a display. Yes, smaller gas canisters for lanterns can be found in the Outdoor/Camping section, but those won't easily fit onto a big gas grill. I've counted Wal-mart's inventory before. Compared to the aftermath of a big sales event, the mess the ghosts made of that store isn't too bad!
I actually felt bad and started crying when I was 11 watching this.

Marshmallow babies and a big terror dog
At 1:48 is that a random person is the background or a ghost because the way they walked out of frame was kind of odd.
Your face is kinda odd
3:20 Hey… (ROOOOAAAAAAAAAAR)
This is actually a typical day at most wal-marts.
Foreigner version of Ram Kapoor from Bade Ache Lagte Hain 😂
I want a dog like that!
Vinz Clortho, a minion of the god known as Gozer, was worshiped as a demigod by the Sumerians, Mesopotamians and Hittites in 6000 BC. It was believed the souls of the dead were ruled by Gozer and protected by a powerful Gatekeeper and Keymaster but in order for Gozer to rise up and walk the human plane again, Gatekeeper and Keymaster had to assume the form of beasts. Vinz was one of the entities recorded in Tobin's Spirit Guide, including illustrations of its Terror Dog form.
so thats what happened to all 50lb bags of purina dog chow lol
Guess they wanted the bag to be gibber so it'd generate bigger scare when that terror dog's head emerged from inside it!
A classic ghostbuster return
I thought the Terror Dogs were incredibly frightening in the original Ghostbusters movie. However, I don't think they were that scary in Afterlife.
They were pretty accurate. They used practical effects on them like originals
Here's a tip: Show this scene with the dog creature to anyone who wants to discriminate against you over and over again to the point where they decide that you're in their cool book.

Walmart that why we shopping
Literally no Walmart in the world is that nice
I love Walmart
Cool edit
That terror dog looks like 50 cent😅
Makes you wander about the writer, what was in the marshmallows he ate. Special marshmallows anyone
They're a reference to the Stay-Puft Marshmellow Man from the original film. It's a legacy concept.
@@crazyrabbits I know But don't care

@10!
Bro died at Walmart
So dangerous but can't out run a human being 😂 how silly
It does catch him though
It was gaining on him easily but it kept slipping on the tiled floors
Coordination is not Vinz’s strong suit.
Who was it this time?

All those prices are WAAAAYYYY too cheap for walmart.
