Very genuine "oh no" at a oil leak under a old BMW
Oh no.... anyway
Or a new bmw by the way..
Oh no... would be my reaction if my old Renault did not leak oil anymore 😀
Oil leaks are a good sign on old bmws. Means there’s oil in there.
E39 M5 old ? E39 M5 soon to be vintage collectable = Expensive
Ya know, most KZheadrs try to hard at trying to be "likeable", funny and try really hard to throw jokes into their videos, and it's always very cring worthy, however, this guy is actually naturally amusing. It's a breath of fresh air for once, and I actually enjoy this channel and videos
This guy has a personality for TV. I wouldn't be surprised if a network picked him up and gave him a show like Wheeler Dealers.
"That's right, I have two now, in the same colour HAHAHAHA" I cracked up
The E39 M5 is such a modern classic, and in my opinion it may take the cake for being the best sedan ever made.
Hmmm not sure. The Mercedes 500E is quite a machine and better built.
@@dappergent9422 nahh not sure about better built but simpler
Newtimer.
@@dappergent9422 yea bro better built with biodegradable wiring, have fun w the electrics lmao
The E39 in general fits that. The I6 models are a delight being lighter and having better steering. All great cars
" I can't drive it 200 meters down the street because I'll get a fine" Is there still a STASI agent hiding behind every tree?
God forbid somebody called them the Geheime Stadtspolizei :-D
"Polizei" has the charge to kill the car industry in Germany...
@@lollypop9580 That certainly isn't true lol
The German police has zero tolerances for breaking the law and driving whit a unregistered car is one of them! And I suspect that they are some kind of filming restrictions in place in the area since it could be some protected objects area further down the street.
@@siemenstraffic Yep- they have a time worn tradition of zero tolerance.
Jokes about BMWs leaking oil. Land Rover neighbour: 🤣
Fancy seeing you here 😁
LR is about the passion too.)
Land Rovers doesn't leak oil; they're just marking their territory ;)
One would say it's rust protection, but I've seen your Land Rover 😃
The joke about "BMWs leaking oil", is purely for like-fishing from those who never had a BMW, nor will they ever have one. Our F10 2.0d never leaked oil, our neighbor's X5 never leaked oil, our current G30 3.0d never leaked oil, I could go on.
Finally the Evil twin has his own E39! 🤣 I laughed hard with the : Donde esta my M5 🤣
Wow, that trailer had some really nice cars on it but nothing beats that random Dodge Nitro lol 😅😝
Who in their right mind buys one, let alone pays for transporting it?!
That's a good question. A person who likes.....umm...quirky cars? lol 😂😅
Doesn't look too bad, out of all cars on that trailer I would definitely pick that Dodge Nitro, even more so if it was diesel and manual. I don't like automatics and those 3.7 and 4.0 should be quite the gas-hogs.
Someone actually paid (or joined the military) to import a DODGE NITRO to the EU 🙃
@@TBendez Yeah - I know right!? Pile of rust and FIAT bits.

It's sick that you have two of the same car. Even more sick that they are two E39 M5's. And even more sick that they are both the same color and both without sunroof, the same config. This is such a sick channel to watch :D
now it's time to consult the repair Manuel :D Manuel : HOLA HERMANO
Sreten's love for these classic BMWs somehow reminds me of Clarkson's love for Alfas. All these projects have their faults but somehow this guy makes them feel like it's the car's character. IDK how to explain this, but you make them feel human.
Thank you!
I completely agree. The beautiful thing is: in some way, they are! I think that a car's character or "soul" is representative of how the people who built it thought, lived and even of what kind of a person they were. In some way, it is a historic and timeless item standing for a piece of human history : it's a piece of art.
Sadly, you see the incompetent labor of some car repair shops. Sreten has to address, as he finds them.
@@M539Restorations Do you mayby have one E39 m 5 for sale?

The timingchain guides in my M62B44 were 332.000km old and complete. The car has oilchanges every 15.000km and long distances. I was so happy when I opened the Motor. Now its all new. It runs so great.
"I'm an idiot with no self control"...yep about sums me up! Keep up the good work.
BRILLIANT BRILLIANT BRILLIANT!! I said this before and I'm going to say this again, Streten you never fail to disappoint us. Seeing this neglected E39 M5 come back to its original glory feels so satisfying. It makes us happy that it's getting a second chance along with your other broken bmws. They keep getting better each and everyday your wrench on them. Keep going strong and we will definitely wait for more videos to come. Cheers!
“I drive it like I stole it “ loved that statement
If cars could talk, Sreten’s OG E39 M5 would tell Project Skövde that they are in EXCELLENT hands.
"BMWs never leak oil"....Hoovie in Kansas just shot himself.
So over those vids..
Don't know about bmws? Car ninja (Hoovies buddy) is a BMW expert and has made a nice career fixing bmws. Dude has had years of experience and definitely knows his stuff. I think this channel (our buddy) may very well be getting a so called " mechanically totalled" 6 series shipped out to him. I hope he does. Haven't had much experience with those N engines.
No, it’s just drink it.
He’s just kidding….anyone know that all BMWs are leaking 😉
@@markkouris5993 true, engine oil is a consumable :) my 5 loses about a litre every 1000km and when I told the dealer they bascially said 'congratulations'
We need to figure out who owns that red Dodge Nitro R/T on the transporter and see if they’re okay. Nobody should have to drive one of those.
🤣
For real. Those are some of the most aggressively terrible vehicles I’ve ever had the misfortune of driving.
Dodge Nitro... why does it even exist?
A dodge nitro in Germany is unbefitting
@@chriskeiser5809 even people in the US dont like them especially mechanics so why even bother exporting one to Germany. Or were they actually sold new here?
This M5 was in the same condition as when I purchased mine. Several thousand dollars later in preventative maintenance and replacement parts...it's been pretty damn reliable for the last 4 years of ownership. Can't wait to see this series continue!
I get anxiety when we're 15 minutes into the video and Sreten is still assessing all the problems of his new car. Then I look at the progress bar and realise there's still plenty of time to break out the spanners and see some satisfying fixing. I love this channel.
Just came home from a very long and tiring day at work just to be surprised by a new video. Now I can truly relax! Love your vids, man!
"Keine Ahnung, Sorry!" A very important sentence
Thank you for another great video Sreten!

Got my M539 cap in the mail last week! Really great quality, I love it! Thanks!
So lovely to see E39's on this channel. I've got a much more wallet friendly 528i and hoping to steal some knowledge on how to keep it on the road. This channel has motivated me to work on the car myself rather than giving it to workshops and already got a pretty nice list of jobs to try on my own - window regulator, steering overhaul as it leaks /unlike other BMW's, that never leak ofc/, parktronic ain't working, the rear sunshade, damn, this is a project now :D.
“I’m an idiot with no self control” - Why does that sound soooooooo familiar to me?
Very good job as always. Many thanks !!
I'm waiting for your invitation to view and drive the BMW heritage collection. I am 100% sure that a LOT of senior BMW executives watch and love your content.
I don't think any current senior BMW executives want to be reminded of the way better products conceived by their predecessors...
@@monstermirror2 Good point! I didn't think of that angle.
Door rubber seals You can use the passenger side ones. I had 530d few times back and did the same and it worked. And usually those are in one piece. ;) Just a hint, cause i know how much those new ones will cost You!
You can also use rears, though they are a bit shorter so you need to make a filler piece from the old seal.
Probably the friller piece won’t work for him.
Congratulations on your new project. Looking forward to all the episodes coming up on this car. The bi-xenon upgrade is well worth it, easily the best money I have spent on my e39. Keep the good stuff coming!

I wish you'd start doing the Audi S4's and RS cars, this way we can see how much "fun" it is to remove the engine, every time you need to do anything.
That's my favorite channel now. I hope videos like this keep coming weekly for years.

Changing the timing chain in 20-25 years they say.Say that to the N47 engine owners.
Or N46, i have sold my 118i in May and never changed the timing chain, it was build in February 2007 and had 100600 km, the first time I could hear the chain was at under 70000km 7 years ago. I replaced the tensioner and was lucky that it didn't fail until I sold it. I sold it for 3500€ to car dealer.
I need more than 2 hands to count how many guides and chains I’ve done on N47s.

When is the British couple coming to take the e38?
Considering that the british government has lifted all (all?) restrictions now so in the next few weeks depending on time for them ? I don't think they wanted to travel to Europe and then having to quarantine when coming home....

250 Euro for that cover piece. Time to invest in a 3D printer for these types of parts.
Real question here is who in Germany is getting a Dodge Nitro delivered?
It's a Swedish trucking company so chances are that it's actually getting imported to Sweden instead, equally baffling ;)
@@PowerslideSWE if they were getting imported to Sweden you’d think they would’ve been delivered when he went to go pick up Sreten’s car instead of driving from Germany to Sweden with them loaded then back to Germany then back to Sweden again
