Im sure it's been said before, but I always appreciate the fact the characters are never perfectly synced and have delays or even minor variations in their motion. It adds that reality element and makes it feel a lot more natural.

It's a pity that Hermitcraft season 8 lasted so short, the amount of shenanigans and don't forget the punz, it's immaculate. I'm gonna miss Boatem, Octagon and the big eyes so much. But i do looking forward for Season 9 woo!! Edit:* I forgot to say this, but this video is AMAZING!! I loved it. Oh and also, Merry Christmas everyone!! I don't celebrate Christmas but it looks so fun!!

I love that Grian went from being the new guy in season six to being an immediate favorite. He was the perfect lead for this animation lol. Very well done through and through.
The fact that you specifically didn’t put Etho in Christmas gear makes me so happy! It’s such a tiny tiny detail that would have been so easy to miss, as anyone who isn’t a diehard Etho fan pretty much doesn’t know! Again, it made me grin :D (For those who don’t know, as far as we know Etho’s Lab doesn’t celebrate Christmas. He’s actively avoided mentioning the holiday for more than 11 years, so us Etho fans try to treat it in a similar lens… btw he’s the guy in the Kakashi skin and mask in the second row)

@TheOneUH8 Etho's an OG minecrafter, he invented the popular "etho hopper clock". His single-player world has been going on for over 10 years if i remember correctly. He's one of those guys that's been around forever and has a very loyal fanbase.
Knowing that the Hermicraft Season 8 lasted so short, makes me feel sad, that's why seeing them together like this, and DANCING. Makes me wanna dance too.. made my day! ❤️ Such a masterpiece.

I believe for some of them, they used their mcc Christmas skin (grian, gem, etc) and the rest were from past seasons

Hermitcraft team may be the most wholesome and friendliest group of people to ever exist on youtube, or maybe even in the world in general. And I absolutely love them all for this.

This is really good but as someone that watches a great variety of Hermits it's kinda disappointing that the only ones you can see clearly are boatem and everybody around them I would have liked it more if the new rows added would be in front of the original ones so that you can see all of them clearly at some point in the video
Or even better, a dance that moves hermits around to different positions to showcase everyone

I have always thought that Grian and Mumbo overshadow other hermits with their presence. They have the biggest following, so much of audience focus on them or hermits who they interact often in server. I myself came aware of Hermitcraft when Grian joined in, focused mostly on Mumbo and him. But soon found Recap channel. Then I discovered Scar, which is currently my favorite hermit.

Great video, put together extremely well! If I had one criticism, I'd have shared the love around a bit more, have the different Hermits rotating around, so they all get a turn at the front etc. Otherwise, awesome stuff!
Yeah, I would also say the same. Either that or have the camera view point highlight some of the other Hermits. Higher angle shots could be included in the wide to make the back row a bit more visible. Grian just gets in the way when I'm trying to see others.
Yup. Changing camera angles more and giving different close ups would have worked too.
This is exactly what i was thinking. I wanted to see all the hermits with the same close up. Not just boatem up front. As much as i love the boatem crew i wanted to see evry single hermit close up beacause everything was so well done.
Exactly. I thought the camera angle was just too low and no variety of camera panning but the animation and characteristics of each hermit were undeniably well done!

I love this, but I would have liked if it rotated their positions a bit more so we got more hermits front and center. Got a lot of Grian, Mumbo, and Scar, but not much of anyone else.

Hermit craft is just too big of a smp to be animated, this proves it, they can barely all stay on camera, but again izethetic does the impossible! AMAZING WORK!!

Honestly, when you think of hermit craft 7 or 8, its hard not to think of everyone's fovorites. Mumbo, grian, and scar
I wasnt able to mentally handle trying to keep up with everyone this season...so seeing something like this even if its not really them, its nice to see them all together...

However, pandemic skills could make it happen. A lot of virtual chorus performances were created during quarantine by cutting together video of individuals singing, in theory something similar could be put together. The bigger question is, would they be willing/can they all dance? 😂

the boatem crew being front and center kind of proves they were the stars of the season. would love to see them stay together in season 9 maybe with a giga base port where they all build ships as their bases and an idimpy bar distribution center.
