Honestly, minecraft holds such a close place in my heart, as stupid as it sounds, it really does. but man, its so amazing seeing all these mcyt youtubers i watched as a kid grow up,, stampy has moved on a bit, dantdm is a dad, pat and jen broke up and find new people, its.. insane to say the least. im glad i grew up with them, and while i now watch the newer mcyt people, i still always watch the newest content of the true OGs, i still find myself watching dantdm content a lot, and im glad the younger part of this generation will still have some great new mc youtubers to grow up with too :) i felt bad stampy never got the huge following he deserved, he worked really hard and still does, and i still and always will consider him extremely underrated. ill always miss the og mcyt community/og uploads, and i might be watching the newer mcyt youtubers more aswell, but ill always appreciate and love the people i grew up watching. without them i wouldve never gotten into minecraft and gotten so attached to the game. my father loved how stupid the zombies were, and we actually watched a few pat and jen videos together when i was younger, their content and my love for it and the game is what persuaded him into getting minecraft for me. He passed away almost 3 years ago, and ill always miss him, but ill always find such a close love and attachment to this game and the mc youtubers i grew up watching, i dont think id even be in the place i am today without them. And even to this day i always find myself listening to the entire minecraft soundtrack on spotify. makes me cry everytime.

I remember when I was about 6 or 7, I started a minecraft world. Sure I wasn't the best or anything, and I kept raging at the game. I quit minecraft for almost 2 years because I had an immense skill issue. But looking back, i'm glad that I even got to play it for the first time. I was in first grade or second grade when Minecraft released on Xbox. I begged my mom and dad to buy an Xbox so that I could play. I had to wait until it released on PS3. I played the demo for hours on end, exploring the tiny beginning tutorial area with my brother. I remember getting hand foot and mouth when I was a third grader. I had a newborn sister who cried constantly and never wanted to go to sleep, unless she was watching me play Minecraft. I remember wishing I had PlayStation plus so that I could play with my friends online. I remember playing on a world with my brother that we put over 1000 hours in over the years. I remember sobbing and playing Minecraft after my dog had to be put down. I remember playing Minecraft after my grandfather died, and after I had to give my cats away because they didn’t like my house. Mostly, I remember wanting to grow up so that I could do whatever I want. I graduate in 2 weeks. My sister is in fourth grade. My brother doesn’t like Minecraft anymore. My dog has been dead for so long I’ve forgotten what he looks like off the top of my head, and my cats probably won’t even remember me. All of that time wishing I could grow up, and I just want to go back to third grade. I just want to not be thinking about money, and grades, and college. If you’re ready to grow up, don’t be. It’s not all it’s cracked up to be.

What awaits me tomorrow? Will I live to see tomorrow? There is no way back, a full-scale conflict is inevitable. And I keep remembering how I played minecraft with my friends. I remember in 2020, my friend and I had a minecraft world. We always played it in between virtual classes, heck, even during some classes as well. We had full diamond, and we set on a quest to get every acheivement. We never got every acheivement. As 2020 came to a close and we were starting to go back to school in person, we began to play the world less often. Eventually, 2021 came, and everything was sort of back to normal. We never played that world again, and I think I deleted it. I remember those days like they were yesterday, with my dog, Duke, sitting next to me in the living room while my friend and I went on a mining trip for the thousandth time. The last time we ever played that world, we sat on top of our roof, and watched the sunset while Mice On Venus Was Playing. We still talk, but not as much as we used to. And as for my dog, he passed away peacefully while we were all with him in 2023. All I can say is, I just want one more day. One more day of living in one of the happiest times of my life.

Honestly, minecraft holds such a close place in my heart, as stupid as it sounds, it really does. but man, its so amazing seeing all these mcyt youtubers i watched as a kid grow up,, stampy has moved on a bit, dantdm is a dad, pat and jen broke up and find new people, its.. insane to say the least. im glad i grew up with them, and while i now watch the newer mcyt people, i still always watch the newest content of the true OGs, i still find myself watching dantdm content a lot, and im glad the younger part of this generation will still have some great new mc youtubers to grow up with too :) i felt bad stampy never got the huge following he deserved, he worked really hard and still does, and i still and always will consider him extremely underrated. ill always miss the og mcyt community/og uploads, and i might be watching the newer mcyt youtubers more aswell, but ill always appreciate and love the people i grew up watching. without them i wouldve never gotten into minecraft and gotten so attached to the game. my father loved how stupid the zombies were, and we actually watched a few pat and jen videos together when i was younger, their content and my love for it and the game is what persuaded him into getting minecraft for me. He passed away almost 3 years ago, and ill always miss him, but ill always find such a close love and attachment to this game and the mc youtubers i grew up watching, i dont think id even be in the place i am today without them. And even to this day i always find myself listening to the entire minecraft soundtrack on spotify. makes me cry everytime.

I remember when I was about 6 or 7, I started a minecraft world. Sure I wasn't the best or anything, and I kept raging at the game. I quit minecraft for almost 2 years because I had an immense skill issue. But looking back, i'm glad that I even got to play it for the first time. This "block game" really affected and shaped my life into the way it is. Thank you Notch, and Microsoft, for making my life better.

I was in first grade or second grade when Minecraft released on Xbox. I begged my mom and dad to buy an Xbox so that I could play. I had to wait until it released on PS3. I played the demo for hours on end, exploring the tiny beginning tutorial area with my brother. I remember getting hand foot and mouth when I was a third grader. I had a newborn sister who cried constantly and never wanted to go to sleep, unless she was watching me play Minecraft. I remember wishing I had PlayStation plus so that I could play with my friends online. I remember playing on a world with my brother that we put over 1000 hours in over the years. I remember sobbing and playing Minecraft after my dog had to be put down. I remember playing Minecraft after my grandfather died, and after I had to give my cats away because they didn’t like my house. Mostly, I remember wanting to grow up so that I could do whatever I want. I graduate in 2 weeks. My sister is in fourth grade. My brother doesn’t like Minecraft anymore. My dog has been dead for so long I’ve forgotten what he looks like off the top of my head, and my cats probably won’t even remember me. All of that time wishing I could grow up, and I just want to go back to third grade. I just want to not be thinking about money, and grades, and college. If you’re ready to grow up, don’t be. Dream fans be like "I'm the og" but they probably dont remember sitting at night on their old Xbox with everyone asleep, calmly creating a house as a small child not knowing the world was going to turn to absolute garbage. I miss being a little kid.
I grew up with Minecraft so when s I say "oh I'm a og," I don't mean I started watching dream then played I mean I played from when it vv first came out on Xbox 360 and me and my brother sitting all day playing and playing knowing we wouldn't get anywhere but still having alot of fun. I watched Stampy and when I figured about about the dream smp I watched it but it will never be the same and as good as DanTDM Stampy and stuff

And it’s, like, 2017/18. Back when things were more peaceful
I remember in 2020, my friend and I had a minecraft world. We always played it in between virtual classes, heck, even during some classes as well. We had full diamond, and we set on a quest to get every acheivement. We never got every acheivement. As 2020 came to a close and we were starting to go back to school in person, we began to play the world less often. Eventually, 2021 came, and everything was sort of back to normal. We never played that world again, and I think I deleted it. I remember those days like they were yesterday, with my dog, Duke, sitting next to me in the living room while my friend and I went on a mining trip for the thousandth time. The last time we ever played that world, we sat on top of our roof, and watched the sunset while Mice On Venus Was Playing. We still talk, but not as much as we used to. And as for my dog, he passed away peacefully while we were all with him in 2023. All I can say is, I just want one more day. One more day of living in one of the happiest times of my life.
