For lions, to defeat cape buffalo will take a lot of time and energy, along with the combination of other members of the herd to be able to quickly defeat the prey.
In the video are 3 male lions trying to take down an adult buffalo. Lions continuously launch bites to quickly finish their prey.
However , the Cape buffalo showed the lion that he was not an underdog. Cape buffalo constantly struggle fiercely against predators.
After attacking the prey for a while without being able to kill it, a lion was stabbed in the abdomen by the sharp horns of a cape buffalo.
This stab caused the lion to ache and struggled to escape the buffalo's horns.
The wound was so severe that the lion could not stand up. it is using its tongue to lick the wound to relieve the pain.
This will be a lesson for lions about the danger of prey so that next time they hunt, they will have to be more careful.
Sometimes hunger will make the lion much more reckless. Because the cubs needed food, the lioness recklessly attacked a hippo.
Unfortunately, it chose the wrong prey, the lioness was fiercely resisted by the prey and as a result, the lioness was bitten in the face by the hippo.
With such a large wound, it is difficult for the lioness to survive.

  • Очень многие считают что у хищников - прям не жизнь а сплошная халява. На самом деле это не так. Вот допустим на определенной территории живёт 10 львиных прайдов. Для ровного счёта пусть будет суммарно 100 львиц и 10 львов. Каждая львица за свою жизнь приносит 20-25 львят. То есть всего получится 2000- 2500 львят. Но выживут и доживут до половозрелости опять таки только 100 львиц и 10 львов. То есть сколько живёт хищников на определенной территории, столько и живёт. Сколько бы самки не приносили детёнышей, но выжить может только то количество которое способно пропитаться на этой территории. И не больше того

  • So people are worried about poachers , they should be more worried about the homeowners killing all the lions and/or (WILDLIFE ) . When they become extinct you know who to blame the people with the spears and the machetes and the knives , that's who will make them go extinct.
